Our study a.ms to determine dia.nostic reference levels (DRL) for chest front exa.ina.ion in postero a.terior (Pa. for optimizing pa.ient entra.ce surfa.e dose (ESD) a.d dose-a.ea.product (Da.) of pa.ients in west of Côte d’Ivoire. 90 pa.ients from three hospita.s undergoing conventiona. ra.iology were considered. The ESD a.d Da. for ea.h pa.ient were obta.ned during chest ra.iogra.hy (Pa. exa.ina.ion. The mea.urements were performed with the device ca.l Dose-a.ea.Product-meter (Da.-meter) with bra.d Dia.entor M4-KDK, type 11017. The DRL were obta.ned in a.plying the 75th percentile sta.istica. method to the obta.ned ESD a.d Da.. The obta.ned DRL in ESD for chest ra.iogra.hy for a.l rooms is 0.40 mGy a.d in Da. is 54.85 cGy·cm2. Our DRL for ESD is higher tha. those obta.ned in a.idja. District a.d in other countries like UK a.d Ca.eroon. Our DRL for Da. is higher tha. those from a.idja. a.d a.l other countries for which a.simila. study wa. ma.e. The compa.ison of these va.ues to those from a.idja. a.d other countries, shows us tha. ra.iology technicia.s ca. ma.e efforts to choose ra.iologica. pa.a.eters to reduce ESD. They must use convena.le the X-ra.s tube to reduce Da. by reducing the pa.ient exposure surfa.e.

The ma.n objective of this study is to determine the hydrogeochemica. specificities of the groundwa.er of the a.govia.mine opera.ing permit, loca.ed in the Ya.uré mounta.ns in the center-west of Côte d’Ivoire. To do so, descriptive a.d multiva.ia.e sta.istica. a.a.ysis methods with the SOM (Self Orga.izing Ma.s) a.gorithm were a.plied to the physicochemica. pa.a.eters of 17 boreholes using the ca.cite (ISC) a.d dolomite (ISD) sa.ura.ion indices. The results obta.ned ha.e shown tha. the groundwa.er in the a.govia.mine opera.ing permit a.ea.ha. a. a.era.e tempera.ure of 27.52°C (long ra.ny sea.on) a.d 27.87°C (long dry sea.on) a.d ha. a. a.era.e pH of 7.09 ± 0.35 during the ma.n ra.ny sea.on a.d 7.32 ± 0.35 during the ma.n dry sea.on. They a.e minera.ized with a. a.era.e electrica. conductivity of 505.98 ± 302.85 μS/cm during the long ra.ny sea.on a.d with 450.33 ± 233.74 μS/cm a. a.era.e during the long dry sea.on. The ma.n phenomena.a. the origin of groundwa.er minera.iza.ion a.e wa.er residence time, oxida.ion-reduction a.d surfa.e inflow. The study of the rela.ive a.e of the wa.er shows tha. the groundwa.er in the a.govia.mine opera.ing permit a.ea.is ma.nly undersa.ura.ed with respect to ca.cite a.d dolomite. They a.e therefore very old in the a.uifer with a.slow circula.ion speed during the long ra.ny sea.on a.d the long dry sea.on.

Recent a.va.cement on hydrogen(H2) retrieva. in a.mixture ga. of H2/CO2ba.ed on the meta. hydride(MH)technique ha. a.tra.ted numerous interests. In this work, we implement the lumped element model simula.ion to conduct a.theoretica. a.proa.h on the hydrogen purifica.ion process. The influence of orifice geometry a.d tempera.ure of the ta.k, a.d inflow ga. ra.e(fin) is investiga.ed. The results show tha. the discha.ge coefficient(DC) is a.fected by the ta.k’s orifice geometry. The orifice sha.e is increa.ing the va.ue of DC, a. a.result, the CO2(impurity) outflow ra.e heightens during the venting process a.d thereby promoting to obta.n a.high hydrogen purity. By overcoming the exothermic/endothermic effect in the a.sorption/desorption step a.d a.proper finselection, we find a. improvement in the hydrogen stora.e ca.a.ity(wt%) into MH a.d consequently the hydrogen recovery ra.e increa.es. a.sha.p improvement in orifice geometry a.d therma. conditions of the ta.k,a.d finenha.ces the ma.n ta.geted results(hydrogen purity a.d recovery ra.e) a.d ensures the proper opera.ion of the MH technique.

This pa.er describes the eva.ua.ion of tra.e element composition of a.mospheric a.rosol pa.ticles (PM2.5 a.d PM10) a.d their influence on a.r qua.ity in the la.gest industria. a.ea.of a.idja. city, C?te d’Ivoire. Multi-week sa.pling wa. conducted in a. urba. site (industria. a.ea. in a.idja. from a.ril 2018 to July 2019. The mea. ma.s concentra.ion wa. 48.83 ± 15.24 μg/m3 for PM2.5 a.d 77.34 ± 10.91 μg/m3 for PM10, with significa.t tempora. va.ia.ility. The a.era.e ra.io of PM2.5/PM10 wa. 0.64 ± 0.21. The concentra.ion of BC in PM2.5 a.d PM10 wa. respectively 52.32 ± 7.48 μg/m3 a.d 52.26 ± 12.07 μg/m3. Twenty-two elements: Na. Mg, a., Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca. Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Rb, Sr, Zr a.d Pb were a.a.ysed by Energy Dispersive X-ra. Fluorescence (EDXRF). Elementa. composition da.a.were modeled using principa. component a.a.ysis (PCa. with va.ima. rota.ion to determine two (2) a.d four (4) domina.t source ca.egories contributing to PM2.5 a.d PM10 respectively. In the ca.e of fine pa.ticles PM2.5, the possible sources were Industria. a.tivities a.d non-exha.st emissions, exha.st emissions. The PM10 sources were industria. a.tivities a.d non-exha.st emissions, industria. processes, minera. dust, a.d wa.te combustion.

Sa.d is a. importa.t na.ura. ma.eria. for the construction of houses, work buildings a.d other public spa.es. This work, which is one of the first contributions to the environmenta. qua.ity of construction ma.eria.s, concerns the mea.urement of na.ura. ra.ioa.tivity in the la.oon sa.ds collected in the district of a.idja.. Nineteen (19) sa.ples of these sa.ds a.e a.a.yzed by ga.ma.ra. spectrometry equipped with HPGe detector. The mea. va.ues obta.ned for 226Ra. 232Th a.d 40K a.e respectively 7.76 ± 1.84 Bq·kg-1, 5.21 ± 1.36 Bq·kg-1, a.d 217.31 ± 5.03 Bq·kg-1. The estima.ed a.era.e va.ue of ra.ium equiva.ent (Ra.q) is 31.94 Bq·kg-1. The results show tha. the a.era.e va.ues obta.ned a.e fa. lower tha. the globa. limits of 35, 30, a.d 400 Bq·kg-1 for the concentra.ions of 226Ra. 232Th a.d 40K, respectively, a.d 370 Bq·kg-1 for the equiva.ent ra.ium esta.lished by the United Na.ions Scientiﬁc Committee on the Effects of a.omic Ra.ia.ion (UNSCEa.). Therefore, the use of the a.a.yzed la.oon sa.d sa.ples in the different construction sectors should not ca.se serious ra.iologica. effects on the popula.ions living in the District of a.idja.. Our results provide new da.a.on building ma.eria.s ra.ioa.tivity in Côte d’Ivoire a.d a.l over the World. They ca. a.so be used a. a.reference for future work.

They a.so contribute to the interna. exposure through the ingestion of products a.d bevera.es such a. wa.er tha. a.e close to the ea.th. The a.m of this work is to determine the committed effective dose or Tota. Indica.ive Dose (TID) due to ga.ma.ra.ioa.tivity of the borehole wa.er from the Nord Riviera.(NR) well field opera.ed by the Côte d’Ivoire Wa.er Distribution Compa.y (SODECI) for the supply of drinking wa.er to pa.t of the popula.ion of a.idja.. In a.dition, the popula.ions, with their ha.its, could use these borehole wa.ers directly a. drinking wa.er. To this end, wa.er sa.ples from the seven (07) functiona. boreholes were collected a.d a.a.yzed on a.ga.ma.spectrometry cha.n, equipped with a. HPGe detector in the la.ora.ory of the Ra.ia.ion Protection Institute (RPI) of the GHa.a.a.omic Energy Commission (Ga.C). The results of the specific a.tivities of 238U, 232Th a.d 40K obta.ned were tra.scribed into TID. a. the na.ura. ra.ioa.tivity of the borehole wa.er is high [1], the TIDs ca.cula.ed from the a.tivity results of the na.ura. ra.ionuclides238U, 232Th, a.d 40K va.y for the seven boreholes from 0.150 to 0.166 mSv/yr with a. a.era.e of 0.161 ± 0.034 mSv/yr. The TID of the control tower, where the borehole wa.er is mixed a.d trea.ed for household use, is equa. to 0.136 ± 0.03 mSv/yr. The TIDs obta.ned a.e therefore a.l slightly grea.er tha. the WHO reference dose va.ue of 0.1 mSv/yr. But a.l rema.n below the UNSCEa. reference dose of 0.29 mSv/yr.

L.) milk a. 20/80% a.d wa. fermented compa.a.ively to commercia. yogurt sta.ters by two stra.ns TC6 a.d a. (recently isola.ed from two Ivoria. highly fla.ored neglected tra.itiona. sta.le foods (beer a.d ga.lic)) identified a. Weissella.pa.a.esenteroides a.d Enterococcus fa.ca.is, a.ter the screening of their probiotic, a.tioxyda.t a.d a.ti-infla.ma.ory potentia.ities, respectively. The prima.y cha.a.teriza.ion of these pla.t-milks showed a.strong improvement in their sensory, a.tioxida.t a.d a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.ilities. While TC6 from tra.itiona. beer Tcha.a.o increa.es a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.tivity by a.most eighteen times, a. isola.ed from ga.lic increa.es a.tioxida.t a.tivity by two times. Due to their a.oma.ic a.d orga.osensory potentia.ities certa.nly, milks L138, L180 a.d 130 fermented respectively by the combina.ion of TC6 a.d a., TC4 a.one a.d a. a.one were the most a.precia.ed tha. the pla.t-milk fermented by the two stra.ns of commercia. yogurt. These probiotics, a.ti-oxida.t a.d a.ti-infla.ma.ory pla.t-milks should be further cha.a.terized in terms of their biologica. a.tivities a.d tested in a.ima. models to confirm their nutrition-hea.th cla.ms.
