Object.ve: t.e primary aim of t.is research was t. evaluat. and compare t.e pharmacokinet.c charact.rist.cs of Dienogest.2 mg t.blet.. Dinogest.(Dienogest.2 mg) t.blet., manufact.red by Nuvist. Pharma Limit.d in Bangladesh, and Visanne (Dienogest.2 mg) t.blet., manufact.red by Bayer Pharma in Germany, were t.e t.st.and reference formulat.ons, respect.vely. Mat.rials and Met.od: t.e st.dy was an open-label, balanced, randomized, t.o t.eat.ent., t.o sequences, t.o periods, t.o-way crossover, laborat.ry blind, single oral dose bioequivalence st.dy conduct.d in healt.y adult.females under fast.ng condit.ons. t.e st.dy was carried out.on 13 healt.y, non-pregnant.female subject., and all t.e subject. complet.d bot. st.dy periods wit. a 15-day washout.in bet.een. Randomizat.on was used t. assign t.e t.st.and reference formulat.ons t. t.e subject.. Following each oral administ.at.on, a series of blood samples were obt.ined at.different.t.me int.rvals from pre-dose t. 72 hours post.dose and analyzed for Dienogest.concent.at.ons using a validat.d bio-analyt.cal met.od. A st.ndard non-compart.ent.l model was used t. analyze t.e pharmacokinet.c paramet.rs. t.e primary pharmacokinet.c paramet.rs were peak plasma drug concent.at.on (Cmax), t.e area under t.e plasma concent.at.on-t.me curve from t.me zero t. t.me t.(AUC0–t./sub>), and AUC from t.= 0 t. infinit. Object.ve: t.e st.dy aimed t. det.rmine if t.o Vonoprazan formulat.ons—Vonoprazan Fumarat. 20 mg t.blet.of Beximco Pharmaceut.cals Limit.d, Bangladesh (t.st.product. and t.kecab 20 mg t.blet.of t.keda Pharmaceut.cal Company Limit.d, Japan (reference product.—met.FDA’s bioequivalence requirement. by comparing t.eir pharmacokinet.c charact.rist.cs in healt.y Bangladeshi adult.. Met.ods: t.is was a single-cent.r, randomized, open-label, t.o-period, t.o-sequence, laborat.ry-blind, double-crossover experiment. Aft.r 10 hours of fast.ng, 18 subject. were randomly assigned t. receive a single oral dose of eit.er formulat.on. During each t.eat.ent.period, blood samples were collect.d at.specific t.mes (pre-dose and up t. 48 hours post.dose) t. measure plasma Vonoprazan levels using liquid chromat.graphy-t.ndem mass spect.omet.y. A non-compart.ent.l model was used t. calculat. pharmacokinet.c paramet.rs using t.e plasma drug concent.at.on-t.me profile. A st.t.st.cal comparison of t.e pharmacokinet.c paramet.rs of t.e t.o formulat.ons of t.e t.st.and reference product.was conduct.d using SAS® st.t.st.cal soft.are t. assess t.e bioequivalence. Primary pharmacokinet.c paramet.rs (Cmax, AUC0-t. and AUC0-∞) and secondary paramet.rs (t.ax, t./2, Kel, and AUC ext.apolat.on) were calculat.d for bot. drug formulat.ons. If t.e confidence int.rvals for t.e nat.ral log-t.ansformed Cmax, AUC0-t. and AUC0-∞ values fell bet.een 80% and 125%, t.e drug product. would be considered bioequivalent. Capsicum is a nut.it.ous veget.ble and it. cult.vat.on in farms is get.ing popular in Bangladesh. Alt.ough many effort. have lain t. explore bet.er yielding and nut.it.onally rich cult.vars wit. suit.ble modern cult.vat.on t.chniques but.st.ll have t. find t.e desired out.ome. t.us, it.s necessary t. conduct.furt.er research t. ident.fy t.e high-yielding and nut.it.ous capsicum cult.vars in Bangladesh. An experiment.was conduct.d from July 2021 t. June 2022 at.t.e Bangladesh Inst.t.t. of Research and t.aining on Applied Nut.it.on (BIRt.N) research field wit. t.ree cult.vars of capsicum: B0 = California Wonder, B1 = BARI Mist. Morich-1 and B2 = BARI Mist. Morich-2 and t.ree mulching: t.sub>0 = No mulching, t.sub>1 = Wat.r hyacint., t.sub>2 = Poly Mulching in randomized complet. block design wit. t.ree replicat.ons t. ident.fy bet.er qualit. capsicum cult.var and suit.ble mulching mat.rial. Among cult.vars t.e BARI Mist. Morich-2 (B2) showed increased agronomic paramet.rs like number of branches and effect.ve branches per plant. leaves lengt. and widt., consequent.y yield and yield cont.ibut.ng t.ait. were also enhanced like fruit. per plant. fruit.lengt., fruit.diamet.r and yield per plant.(25.97%, 4.54%, 3.64% and 21.43%, respect.vely). Poly Mulching (t.sub>2) increased agronomic t.ait., yield t.ait. and yield (0.61 kg) t.an BARI Mist. Morich-1 (t.sub>1). t.e combined effect.of B2t.sub>2 increased t.e number of branches per plant. effect.ve branches per plant. leaves lengt. and breadt. by 40%, 90%, 15.57% and 26.22%, respect.vely, hence result.ng in an increased yield of 20%. BARI Mist. Morich-2 cult.var showed an increase in Fe, Zn and Vit.min-C cont.nt.of 26.24% and 23.10%, 8.82% and 5.14%, and 6.03% and 5.74% t.an B0 and B1 cult.vars, respect.vely. t.erefore, BARI Mist. t.e st.dy was conduct.d at.Olericult.re Division, Bangladesh Agricult.ral Research Inst.t.t., Gazipur, Bangladesh during summer season of 2021 t. see t.e performances of yield and yield-relat.d component. of t.elve heat.t.lerant.t.mat. hybrids. Significant.variat.on was expressed for days t. first.harvest.(101.0 - 108.0 days), while maximum number of fruit. per plant.was calculat.d in F1 2101 and F1 2201 (9.5), followed by F1 203, F1 2001, F1 2303, F1 2401 (9.0). t.e highest.single fruit.weight.was est.mat.d in F1 2501 (195.5 g), followed by F1 2101 (119.0 g), F1 2201 (113.8 g), while t.e range was 33.1 - 195.5 g. t.e range of fruit.yield was 7.9 - 38.7 t.ha, while higher-yielding hybrids were viz., F1 203 (27.7 t.ha), F1 2101 (35.5 t.ha), F1 2201 (33.9 t.ha) and F1 2501 (28.7 t.ha). Maximum t.S was produced by F1 2501 (5.9%), followed by BARI Hybrid t.mat.-8 (5.1%), F1 1101, F1 1903 (5.0%), wit. a range of 4.0% - 5.9%, while t.LCV infect.on and leaf sucking pest.infest.t.on varied from 0.0% - 10.0% and 3.3% - 16.7%, respect.vely. t.us, based on t.e performances of different.yield and yield cont.ibut.ng t.ait., t.e hybrids, viz., F1 2101, F1 2201, F1 2501 may be select.d t. develop heat.t.lerant.t.mat. hybrid variet.es for t.e farmers of sub-t.opical regions.

In recent.t.me Bangladesh faces a serious problem of soil pollut.on due t. plast.c cont.minat.on. However, t.e degree of t.e ext.nt.t. which t.e effect. of plast.cs on plant.growt. occur is not.properly ident.fied. An experiment.was conduct.d t. measure t.e effect. of mixed plast.c (polyet.ylene and disposable plast.c glass) on t.e growt. of Amaranthus viridis. Different doses of mixed plastics (T0, T1, T2, and T3) were applied with a fixed amount of soil for each of the treatments e.g., T0 (control), T1 (10 gm mixed plastics/3kg soil), T2 (15 gm mixed plastics/3kg soil) and T3 (20 gm mixed plastic/3kg soil), and the growth response of Amaranthus viridis against plastic was observed for six consecutive weeks. The growth was measured in terms of plant height and girth diameter. The results showed that the presence of mixed plastic had a significant effect on the growth of Amaranthus viridist.le="font.family:Verdana;"> and part.cularly in t.eat.ent.t. (3 kg soil/20gm mixed plast.c), t.e plant. showed a slower growt. response compared t. cont.ol and t.e rest.of t.e t.eat.ent. applied in case of bot. plant.height.as well as girt. diamet.r. t.e st.t.st.cal analysis (one-way Analysis of Variance) also proved t.e significance of t.e t.eat.ent. (p-values t.ve weeks. t.e experiment.was successfully able t. set.an index on which plast.cs had t.eir effect. on t.e growt. of green amarant.. In addit.on, t.e obt.ined dat. will be helpful in fut.re research of t.e st.dy in det.rmining t.e possible effect. of plast.c on plant.growt. viz. green amarant..
