Nanocrystalline cadmium-zinc ferrite samples were prepared by ball milling method and its electrical transport property were investigated within a temperature range 77 k ≤ T ≤ 300 k in presence of a magnetic field up to 1T and in a frequency range 20 Hz to 1 MHz. The investigated samples follow a simple hopping type charge transport. The dc magnetoconductivity has been explained in terms of orbital magnetoconductivity theory. The alternating current conductivity follows the universal dielectric response σ'/(f) ∝ Tnfs. The values of ‘s’ have a decreasing trend with temperature. The temperature exponent ‘n’ depends on frequency. The dielectric permittivity of the samples depends on the grain resistance and interfacial grain boundary resistance. The ac magnetoconductivity is positive which can be explained in terms of impedance of the sample.

Bone infections following open bone fracture or implant surgery remain a challenge in the orthopedics *** order to avoid high doses of systemic drug administration,optimized local antibiotic release from scaffolds is required.3D additive manufactured(AM)scaffolds made with biodegradable polymers are ideal to support bone healing in non-union scenarios and can be given antimicrobial properties by the incorporation of *** this study,ciprofloxacin and gentamicin intercalated in the interlamellar spaces of magnesium aluminum layered double hydroxides(MgAl)andα-zirconium phosphates(ZrP),respectively,are dispersed within a thermoplastic polymer by melt compounding and subsequently processed via high temperature melt extrusion AM(~190◦C)into 3D *** inorganic fillers enable a sustained antibiotics release through the polymer matrix,controlled by antibiotics counterions exchange or pH ***,both antibiotics retain their functionality after the manufacturing process at high temperatures,as verified by their activity against both Gram+and Gram-bacterial ***,scaffolds loaded with filler-antibiotic do not impair human mesenchymal stromal cells osteogenic differentiation,allowing matrix mineralization and the expression of relevant osteogenic ***,these results suggest the possibility of fabricating dual functionality 3D scaffolds via high temperature melt extrusion for bone regeneration and infection prevention.

Complete and incomplete fusion cross sections have been measured for the 20Ne + 51V system to investigate the influence of projectile break-up at or above the barrier energies. The excitation function of the individual reaction channel measured using off-line γ-ray spectroscopy has been compared with those estimated theoretically using the statistical model code PACE4. A significant fraction of incomplete fusion has been found in the production of residues involving α-particle in the exit channel. In order to understand the energy dependence of incomplete fusion reactions, incomplete fusion fraction has been deduced, which has also been compared with the earlier data available for 12C and 16O projectiles to look for the projectile structure dependence.

BACkGROUND Lymphangiomas are a group of benign swellings which are commonly seen in *** most common sites of presentation is the head and neck region,less commonly seen in axilla,chest,liver,spleen,*** ideal modality of treatment has always been surgical excision irrespective of the site and age *** with the advent of minimally invasive surgical techniques,it is now possible to perform excision of parapharyngeal space lesions with minimal morbidity and good *** SUMmarY A 42-year-old male patient who presented with difficulty in swallowing and had undergone surgery twice outside,where Transcervical approach was attempted to remove the parapharyngeal mass,but *** resonance imaging scan demonstrated a 6 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm left parapharyngeal *** underwent transoral robotic surgery for the excision of the parapharyngeal lesion and had an uneventful post-operative *** Lymphangiomas are hamartomatous swellings which are benign in *** symptoms of the patient with large parapharyngeal mass include dysphagia,dyspnoea and neck *** evaluation is of utmost importance to determine the adjacent vital structures and the approach to the *** the advent of robotics in oncology,transoral robotic excision is one of the best approaches to perform such a surgery.
