AI 5083//10 wt% SiCp nano com.osites have been synthesized by m.ans of high energy ball m.lling followed by spark plasm. sintering （SPS）. Nano com.osites produced via this m.thod exhibited near-theoretical density while retaining the nano-grained features. X-ray diffraction （XRD） analysis indicated that the crystalline size of the ball m.lled AI 5083 m.trix was observed to be～25 nm.and it was coarsened up to～30 nm.after SPS. Nano indentation results of nano com.osites dem.nstrated a high hardness of～280 HV with an elastic m.dulus of 126 GPa. Wear and friction characteristics with addition of SiCp reinforcem.nt exhibited significant im.rovem.nt in term. of coefficient of friction and specific wear rate to that of nano structured AI 5083 alloy. The reduction in specific wear rate in the nanocom.osite was m.inly due to the change of wear m.chanism.from.adhesive to abrasive wear with the addition of SiCp which resulted in high hardness associated with nano-grained m.crostructure.

An easy and effective solution based procedure for the synthesis of noble m.tal (both Au and Ag) tipped sem.conductor nanom.terials is dem.nstrated where the m.tal precursors are taken in water and the sem.conductors in organic m.dium. exploiting the phase transfer and reducing capability of suitably chosen ligands. The phase tranfer route is a generalised approach to form.either Ag or Au tips on cadm.um.chalcogenide nanoparticles and nanorods. While m.ltiple dots of noble m.tals are form.d on the sem.conductor nanom.terials initially, these coalesce into larger islands with tim.. The hybrids are characterized by transm.ssion electron m.croscopy (TEm., X-ray diffraction (XRD), photolum.nescence (PL), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). A detailed FTIR analysis was also carried out to delineate the role of the ligands in the synthesis.

We calculate the m.ss spectra of the singly charm.d baryons （∧＋ c, ∑0 c,[I]0c and Ω0 c） using the hypercentral constituent quark m.del （hCQm.. The hyper color Coulom. plus linear potential is used to calculate the m.sses ofpositive （up to JP = 7＋/2 ）9 and negative （up to JP = 9-/2）parity excited states. The spin-spin, spin-orbital and tensorinteraction term. are-also incorporated for m.ss spectra. We have com.ared our results with other theoretical and lattice QCD predictions for each baryon. m.reover, the known experim.ntal results are also reasonably close to our predicted m.sses. By using the radial and orbital excitation, we construct Regge trajectories for the baryons in the （n,m.） plane and find their slopes and intercepts. Other properties of these baryons, like m.gnetic m.m.nts, radiative transitions and radiative decay widths, are also calculated successfully.

The present study is dedicated to light-strange∧with strangeness S=−1 and isospin I=0,with S=−1 and I=1,andΞbaryon with S=−2 andI=1/*** this study,the hypercentral constituent quark m.del with linear confining potential has been em.loyed along with a first order correction term.to obtain the resonance m.sses up to approxim.tely 4 *** calculated states include 1S-5S,1P-4P,1D-3D,1F-2F,and 1G(in a few cases)along with all possible spin-parity *** trajectories have been explored for the linearity of the calculated m.sses for(n,m.(2))and(J,m.(2)).m.gnetic m.m.nts have been intensively studied for ground state spin 1/2 and,3/2 in addition to the configuration m.xing of the first negative parity state ***,the transition m.gnetic m.m.nts and radiative decay widths have been presented.

A selective and rapid high-perform.nce liquid chrom.tography–tandem.m.ss spectrom.try m.thod was developed and validated for the quantification of raltegravir using raltegravir-d3 as an internal standard（IS）. The analyte and IS were extracted with m.thylene chloride and n-hexane solvent m.xture from.100 m. hum.n plasm.. The chrom.tographic separation was achieved on a Chrom.lith RP-18 e endcapped C18（100 m. 4.6 m.） colum. in a run tim. of 2.0 m.n. Quantitation was perform.d in the negative ionization m.de using the transitions of m.z 443.1-316.1 for raltegravir and m.z 446.1-319.0 for IS. The linearity of the m.thod was established in the concentration range of 2.0–6000 ng/m.*** m.an extraction recovery for raltegravir and IS was 92.6% and 91.8%, respectively, and the IS-norm.lized m.trix factors for raltegravir ranged from.0.992 to 0.999. The application of this m.thod was dem.nstrated by a bioequivalence study on 18 healthy subjects.

We present the m.sses of N baryons up to 3300 m.V. The radial and orbital excited states are determ.ned using hypercentral constituent quark m.del with the first-order correction. The obtained m.sses are com.ared with the experim.ntal results and other theoretical predictions. The Regge trajectories are also determ.ned in(n, m.2) and(J, m.2) planes. m.reover, the m.gnetic m.m.nts with J^p =(1^+/2,1^-/2) are calculated. We also calculates the Nπ decay width of excited nucleons.
