AIm. In nonresectable cholangiocellular carcinom. (CCC)therapeutic options are lim.ted. Recently, system.c chem.therapy has shown response rates of up to 30%.Additional regional therapy of the arterially hyper vascularized hepatic tum.rs m.ght represent a rational approach in an attem.t to further im.rove response and palliation. Hence, a protocol com.ining transarterial chem.em.olization and system.c chem.therapy was applied in patients with CCC lim.ted to the ***: Eight patients (6 wom.n, 2 m.n, m.an age 62 years) with nonresectable CCC received system.c chem.therapy (gem.itabine 1 000 m./m.) and additional transarterial chem.em.olization procedures (50 m./m.cisplatin, 50 m./m. doxorubicin, up to 600 m. degradable starch m.crospheres). Clinical follow-up of patients, tum.r m.rkers, CT and ultrasound were perform.d to evaluate m.xim.m.response and ***: Both system.c and regional therapies were tolerated well; no severe toxicity (WHO Ⅲ/Ⅳ) was encountered. Nausea and fever were the m.st com.only observed side effects. A progressive rarefication of the intrahepatic arteries lim.ted the m.xim.m.num.er of chem.em.olization procedures in 4 patients. A m.dian of 2 chem.em.olization cycles (range, 1-3) and a m.dian of 6.5 gem.itabine cycles (range, 4-11) were *** responses were not achieved. As m.xim.m.response, partial responses were achieved in 3 cases,stable diseases in 5 cases. Two patients died from.progressive disease after 9 and 10 m.. Six patients are still alive. The current m.dian survival is 12 m. (range, 9-18); the m.dian tim. to tum.r progression is 7 m. (range, 3-18). Seven patients suffered from.tum.r-related sym.tom. prior to therapy, 3 of these experienced a treatm.nt-related clinical relief. AIm. To investigate the chem.preventive efficacy of the Indian m.dicinal plant Acanthus ilicifolius L Acanthaceae in a transplantable Ehrlich ascites carcinom. (EAC)- bearing m.rine m.del. m.THODS: m.le Swiss albino m.ce were divided into four groups: Group A was the untreated norm.l control; Group B was the EAC control m.ce group that received serial, intraperitoneal (ip) inoculations of rapidly proliferating 2 x 105 viable EAC cells in 0.2 m. of sterile phosphate buffered saline; Group C was the plant extract-treated group that received the aqueous leaf extract (ALE) of the plant at a dose of 2.5 m./kg body weight by single ip injections, once daily for 10, 20 and 30 consecutive days following tum.ur inoculation (ALE control); and Group D was the EAC + ALE- treatm.nt group. The chem.preventive potential of the ALE was evaluated in a m.rine m.del by studying various biological param.ters and genotoxic m.rkers, such as tum.ur cell count, m.an survival of the anim.ls, haem.tological indices, hepatocellular histology, im.unohistochem.cal expression of liver m.tallothionein (m.) protein, sister-chrom.tid exchanges (SCEs), and DNA ***: Treatm.nt of the EAC-bearing m.ce with the ALE significantly (P m.ur cell count by 68.34% (228.7 x 106 ± 0.53) when com.ared to EAC control m.ce (72.4 x 106 ± 0.49), and restored body and organ weights alm.st to the norm.l values. ALE adm.nistration also increased (P m.an survival of the hosts from.35 ± 3.46 d in EAC control m.ce to 83 ± 2.69 d in EAC + ALE-treated m.ce. Haem.tological indices also showed m.rked im.rovem.nt with adm.nistration of ALE in EAC-bearing anim.ls. Background:With the rising global prevalence of fatty liver disease related to m.tabolic dysfunction,the association of this com.on liver condition with chronic kidney disease(CKD)has becom. increasingly *** 2020,the m.re inclusive term.m.tabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(m.FLD)was proposed to replace the term.non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).The observed association between m.FLD and CKD and our understanding that CKD can be a consequence of underlying m.tabolic dysfunction support the notion that individuals with m.FLD are at higher risk of having and developing CKD com.ared with those without ***,to date,there is no appropriate guidance on CKD in individuals with ***,there has been little attention paid to the link between m.FLD and CKD in the Nephrology *** and Results:Using a Delphi-based approach,a m.ltidisciplinary panel of 50 international experts from.26 countries reached a consensus on som. of the open research questions regarding the link between m.FLD and ***:This Delphi-based consensus statem.nt provided guidance on the epidem.ology,m.chanism.,m.nagem.nt and treatm.nt of m.FLD and CKD,as well as the relationship between the severity of m.FLD and risk of CKD,which establish a fram.work for the early prevention and m.nagem.nt of these two com.on and interconnected diseases.

The power conversion efficiency(PCE) of Cs AgBiBr-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs) is still low owing to the inherent defects of Cs AgBiBr film.. Herein, we dem.nstrate a carboxy-chlorophyll derivative(C-Chl)-sensitized m.soporous TiO(m.TiO) film.as an electron transport layer(ETL) to enhance and extend the absorption spectrum.of Cs AgBiBr-based PSCs. The C-Chl-based device achieves a significantly im.roved PCE, exceeding 3% for the first tim., with an increase of 27% in short-circuit current density. Optoelectronic investigations confirm.that the introduction of C-Chl reduces the defects, accelerates the electron extraction, and suppresses charge recom.ination at the interface of ETL/perovskite. m.reover, the unencapsulated PSCs display restrained hysteresis and great stability under am.ient conditions.

为构建厌氧折流板反应器(ABR)发酵联合产氢产甲烷系统,考察了微量元素对ABR系统前端格室发酵产氢、后端格室发酵产甲烷的影响。在进水COD为6 000 m./L、碱度为1 900 m./L的条件下,当未投加微量元素时,系统对COD的去除率为51%,产氢能力为0.46 m./(m..d),产甲烷能力为0.68 m./(m..d),四格室的厌氧污泥脱氢酶活性均较低;而在相同运行条件下,当投加微量元素后,系统对COD的去除率提高到62%以上,产氢能力为0.37 m./(m..d),产甲烷能力达到1.66 m./(m..d)。研究表明,投加微量元素可有效刺激ABR发酵联合产氢产甲烷系统中厌氧污泥的活性,由于ABR中产甲烷菌等耗氢菌群活性的增强导致发酵产氢作用受到抑制,但产甲烷活性的进一步增强,使系统的处理效能得到明显提高。

Abnorm.l connections between the ascending aortaand the cardiac cham.ers are rare, especially in thecontext of right-sided infective endocarditis(IE). Trans-thoracic echocardiography(TTE) with color-flow Dop-pler, transesophageal echocardiography(TEE), or bothm.y be required for diagnosis. We present the case ofa wom.n adm.tted with right-sided heart failure(HF)sym.tom.. She had a previous history of tricuspid valveIE 30 years ago. TTE and TEE revealed an aorto-rightatrium.fistula located just under the non-coronary cuspinto the right atrium.at the level of the previously af-fected tricuspid valve. The Patient refused surgery andwas discharged hom. on HF m.dications. She has beenstable for the last 3 years. The peculiarity of this caseis the late sym.tom.tic presentation of the aorto-atrialfistula and the unusual association to tricuspid valve IE.

Am.bic liver abscess is a parasitic disease which is often encountered in tropical countries. A hepatogastric fistula secondary to an am.bic liver abscess is a rare com.lication of this disease and there are only a handful of reported cases in literature. Here we present a case of an am.bic liver abscess which was com.licated with the developm.nt of a hepatogastric fistula. The patient presented with the Jaundice, pain and distension of abdom.n. The Jaundice and pain im.roved partially after he had an episode of brownish black colored increase in frequency of stools for 5 to 6 d. Patient also had ascites and anem.a. He was a chronic alcohol drinker. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy perform.d in view of the above findings. It showed a fistulous opening with bilious secretions along the lesser curvature of the stom.ch. On im.ging m.ltiple liver abscesses seen including one in sub capsular location. The patient was m.naged conservatively with antiam.bic m.dications along with proton pum. inhibitors. The pigtail drainage of the sub capsular abscess was done. The patient im.roved significantly. The repeat endoscopy perform.d after about two m.nths showed reduction in fistula size. A review of the literature shows that hepatogastric fistulas can be m.naged conservatively with m.dications and drainage, endoscopically with biliary stenting or with surgical excision.

为了使钻井液和完井液引起的地层损害最小化 ,桥堵剂体积必须足够大 ,使得钻井液和完井液不被挤入岩石中 ,同时桥堵剂体积也必须足够小 ,使之能够形成泥饼 ,将进入地层的泥浆中的钻屑和聚合物过滤出来。原文介绍了一种预测由钻井液和完井液中存在的粒径大小不同的岩屑引起的地层受损深度和程度的数学模型。泥浆侵入和回流后 ,该模型对地层受损深度和渗透率损失进行了计算。
