Objective:To assess knowledge,attitude,and practice of medical students towards coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Methods:A self-designed questionnaire was developed and given to the students of a government medical college in *** demographics,mean knowledge,attitude,and practice of the participants were investigated,and the scores were calculated.t-test and ANOVA were used for statistical ***:Out of the total participants(n=354),50.3%were male and 54.5%were 21-23 *** all the participants(96.6%)increase the frequency of washing hands under the influence of *** no significant relationship was found between different religions,age-categories in terms of knowledge,the participants who were aged 21-23 years had higher *** addition,gender had a significant impact on practice scores(P0.05).Conclusions:The majority of the participants had good knowledge,positive attitude,and sufficient *** and males have significantly different *** the results are very positive,it is suggested that people should continue to strengthen knowledge,attitude,and practice towards COVID-19,so that India can win the battle against the disease.

BACKGROUND Immunization is a key component of primary health care and an indisputable human *** are critical to the prevention and control of infectious disease *** coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic and associated disruptions over the past two years have strained the health systems,with many children missing out on essential childhood *** To evaluate the immunization coverage among 12-23-month-old children in the rural areas of Community Health Centre(CHC)Dighal and to determine the factors influencing the existing immunization *** A coverage evaluation survey was conducted according to the 30-cluster sampling technique,which is the standard methodology for such surveys devised by World Health Organization.A total of 300 children aged 12-23 months were included,whose immunization details were noted from their immunization *** Full immunization rate was noted in 86.7%of the children,with partial and non-immunized children accounting for 9%and 4.3%*** full immunization dropout rate was 4.2%.The common reasons for partial or non-immunization were family problem including illness of mother,vaccine not being available and child being *** of birth(P=0.014)and availability of immunization card(P<0.001)were significant predictors of the immunization *** the study was conducted in 2020/2021,health services were disrupted due to the COVID-19 *** Due to the coverage being higher than the national average,it was concluded that the immunization coverage was optimal and not affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The utilization of quantum states for the representation of information and the advances in machine learning is considered as an efficient way of modeling the working of complex *** states of mind or judgment outcomes are highly complex phenomena that happen inside the human *** these states is significant for improving the quality of technology and providing an impetus to scientific research aimed at understanding the functioning of the human *** of the key advantages of quantum wave-functions over conventional classical models is the existence of configurable hidden variables,which provide more data density due to its exponential state-space *** hidden variables correspond to the amplitudes of each probable state of the system and allow for the modeling of various intricate aspects of measurable and observable physical *** makes the quantum wave-functions powerful and felicitous to model cognitive states of the human mind,as it inherits the ability to efficiently couple the current context with past experiences temporally and spatially to approach an appropriate future cognitive *** paper implements and compares some techniques like Variational Quantum Classifiers(VQC),quantum annealing classifiers,and hybrid quantum-classical neural networks,to harness the power of quantum computing for processing cognitive states of the mind by making use of EEG *** also introduces a novel pipeline by logically combining some of the aforementioned techniques,to predict future cognitive *** preliminary results of these approaches are presented and are very encouraging with upto 61.53%validation accuracy.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Globally, the incidence of hip fracture is expected to climb from 1.6 million to 4.5 million by the year 2050. Hip fractures are the second leading cause of hospitalization for the elderly and are often the sentinel event for the individual′s overall decline. This study reviewed the effect of the timing of surgical intervention on one-year mortality after hip fracture. METHODS Subjects were 720 patients, all over 65 years of age, consecutively admitted for treatment of a hip fracture. The time from hospital admission to surgery was identified as a continuous variable. This variable was compared to one-year mortality. RESULTS Of the 720 patients, 68% were female, with an average total sample age of 82 years. Within one year, 22% had died. The median time from hospital admission to the beginning of surgery was 30 hours. The odds ratio for increased death was 1.05 for each 10-hour increase in time to surgery (p＝0.001). An adjusted analysis, revealed that those who underwent surgery over 60 hours after admission were more likely to die within one year, compared with those receiving surgery within 18 hours (odds ratio 2.81), as well as compared with those receiving surgery with 18 to 24 hours (odds ratio 2.9)． CONCLUSION This study of elderly patients hospitalized for hip fracture repair found a linear relationship between a delay in surgery and oneyear mortality.
