The outcome of this study is to improve and enhance the power quality of the hybrid DC/AC microgrid(mG).The photovoltaic(PV)system and the proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEmFC)are used as renewable energy sources to deliver the optimum active power to the utility *** mG system based on the PV system,PEmFC and voltage source inverter is modelled ***,the maximum power point tracking(mPPT)-based grey wolf optimization(GWO)is used to increase the PV module efficiency and enhance ***,to improve the PEmFC performance,a digital proportional-integral controller is used to control the PEmFC *** proposed inverter is controlled using synchronous reference frame theory,called the direct-quadrature(dq)control ***,the performance of the proposed mG system is tested using mATLAB®for various weather and loading condi*** the simulation results,the proposed mG system can deliver and absorb an active power based on the PV and fuel cell *** a result,the hybrid DC/AC mG is enhanced in terms of stabilization of the DC-bus ***,the power quality of the mG is improved using GWO optimization based on ***,good results are achieved using GWO in terms of the total harmonic distortion of the output current of 2.3%and higher efficiency of 98.9%.

Prevalence and risk factors of Blastocystis infection among underprivileged communities in rural malaysia

Objective:To determine the prevalence and risk factors of Blastocystis among underprivileged communities living in rural malaysia. methods:This cross-sectional study was conducted among 253 participants aged between 1 and 85 years. Stool samples were examined using Wheatley's trichrome stain after in-vitro cultivation in Jones' medium to detect the presence of Blastocystis. Information pertaining to the demography,socioeconomic and environment were collected using pre-validated questionnaires. Results:The total prevalence of Blastocystis infection was 40.7%. The multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that age ≥15 years(OR = 2.72; 95%CI = 1.47-5.04) and presence of infected family members(OR = 8.56; 95%CI = 4.47-16.38) were the significant risk factors associated with blastocystosis in these communities. Conclusions:Blastocystosis is revealed through this study to be still prevalent among Orang Asli communities in rural malaysia. The two main approaches that should be implemented by the public health authority in battling this infection would be the screening of other family members and giving treatment to the infected individuals. moreover,it is imperative for health education on good personal and food hygiene practices are provided in order to reduce the morbidity and transmission of Blastocystis infection among the Orang Asli in their communities meaningfully.

Utilization of Logistical Regression to the modified Sine-Gordon model in the mST Experiment

In this paper, a logistical regression statistical analysis (LR) is presented for a set of variables used in experimental measurements in reversed field pinch (RFP) machines, commonly known as “slinky mode” (Sm), observed to travel around the torus in madison Symmetric Torus (mST). The LR analysis is used to utilize the modified Sine-Gordon dynamic equation model to predict with high confidence whether the slinky mode will lock or not lock when compared to the experimentally measured motion of the slinky mode. It is observed that under certain conditions, the slinky mode “locks” at or near the intersection of poloidal and/or toroidal gaps in mST. However, locked mode cease to travel around the torus;while unlocked mode keeps traveling without a change in the energy, making it hard to determine an exact set of conditions to predict locking/unlocking behaviour. The significant key model parameters determined by LR analysis are shown to improve the Sine-Gordon model’s ability to determine the locking/unlocking of magnetohydrodyamic (mHD) modes. The LR analysis of measured variables provides high confidence in anticipating locking versus unlocking of slinky mode proven by relational comparisons between simulations and the experimentally measured motion of the slinky mode in mST.

Parabens are antimicrobial preservatives with extensive applications in cosmetics,toiletries,pharmaceuticals,and *** the legitimate concerns relating to their potential to disrupt multiple endocrine functions,it becomes imperative to prioritize the development of innovative bioanalytical techniques for effectively monitoring their presence in biological *** this study,an efficient solvent bar microextraction(SBmE)was established,utilizing new hydrophobic deep eutectic solvents(DEs)to determine methylparaben and propylparaben in urine and plasma *** DEs comprising menthol and tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate(m-TEHP)at various molar ratios were synthesized for the first time to enhance the extraction capacity and promote the eco-friendliness of the DE used as an extraction ***-transform infrared(FT-IR)and proton nuclear magnetic resonance(1H NmR)spectroscopies were employed to confirm and investigate the properties of the successful synthesis(m-TEHP)DE at a molar ratio of 1:*** synthesized DE exhibits low microbial toxicity and can be considered an eco-friendly solvent for ***,quantum-chemical calculations were utilized to predict synthesized DE's structure and interaction energy with selected *** influential operational factors of DE-SBmE on the extraction efficiency(EE%)of both parabens were evaluated using response surface methodology based on central composite design,and a total of 30 extraction tests were conducted to determine the optimal *** optimized DE-SBmE,in combination with HPLC-DAD,exhibited low detection limits(0.54–0.91μg L^(−1)),excellent linearity(R^(2)≥0.9993),precise results(RSDs≤7.6%),satisfactory recoveries(92–97%)and negligible matrix ***,it had remarkable effectiveness and applicability in determining selected parabens in real urine and plasma samples.

Oxidative degradation of sunflower oil blended with roasted sesame oil during heating at frying temperature

The efficacy of roasted sesame oil(SO)on the oxidation deterioration of sunflower oil(SFO)during heating was *** concentrations of SO in the SFO were 0,10%,20%,and 30%by *** oxidation profile of oil samples was monitored by evaluating the generation of oxidation products and chemical alterations in the oils'composition during heating at frying temperature(180℃).The results showed that the oxidation parameters(free fatty acid,peroxide value,p-anisidine value,total oxidation status,thiobarbituric acid value,and color index)increased significantly in SFO compared to blends or SO during thermal *** heating,the concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA)was reduced with increased level of saturated fatty acids;these results were observed more in SFO than those of SO or blend ***,the presence of SO in SFO reduced the decomposition of *** Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,the peak intensities were significantly altered in SFO compared to the blend oils during *** on the most analytical data,it may be agreed that the heating at frying temperature led to the generation of relatively higher contents of oxidative products in SFO compared to blend oils,showing a lower degree of oxidation occurred in *** best frying performance for the SFO was achieved by using 30%SO extracted from the roasted sesame *** study showed the proper blending of high polyunsaturated oil with SO can produce oil blends with high nutritional values and enhanced stability for daily cooking and deep-frying applications.

Substituent engineering in g-C_(3)N_(4)/COF heterojunctions for rapid charge separation and high photo-redox activity

The heterojunction composed of covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with adjustable structure and other photocatalysts has great potential in the field of ***,effectively enhancing the photocatalytic performance of organic heterojunctions by designing the structure of COFs has not been ***,TPB-TP-COFs fabricated from 1,3,5-tris(4-amino-phenyl)benzene(TPB)and terephthalaldehyde(TP)with different substituents(−H,−OH,−OCH_(3),−Br and−F groups),were applied to construct g-C_(3)N_(4)/*** performance improvement of the heterojunction could be affected by substituents,and only−OCH_(3) groups can significantly improve both the photocatalytic phenol oxidation and Cr(Ⅵ)*** calculation demonstrated that the substituents will affect the electron cloud distribution of CBm,and the location of CBm in the TPB segment is beneficial for the charge transport between TPB-TP-OCH_(3) and g-C_(3)N_(4).The enhanced charge transfer from g-C_(3)N_(4) to TPB segment and the improved light absorption of TPB-TP-OCH_(3) jointly optimize the photocatalytic redox capacity of g-C_(3)N_(4)/TPB-TP-OCH_(3).On the basis of this study,regulating the electronic effects of semiconductors played a vital role in improving photocatalytic performance in organic heterojunctions.

Corchorus olitorius aqueous extract attenuates quorum sensing-regulated virulence factor production and biofilm formation

Objective:To investigate the effect of Corchorus olitorius aqueous fraction(COAF)on quorum sensing(QS)-regulated virulence factors and biofilm formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PAO1).methods:The preliminary screening of the anti-QS effect of COAF was performed by evaluating the anti-pathogenic activity against Chromobacterium violaceum CV026 biosensor ***,the inhibitory effects of COAF on QS-regulated pyocyanin production,proteolytic and elastolytic activities,swarming motility,and biofilm formation were evaluated in ***:The results showed that the treatment of COAF significantly decreased the biofilm biomass,attenuated virulence factors,and inhibited swarming motility of PAO1 without affecting the growth of the bacteria in a dose-dependent *** at 2000μg/mL significantly decreased Las B elastase activity in PAO1 culture,exopolysaccharide production,swarming motility,pyocyanin level,and biomass of PAO1 by 55%(Pment of a high dose of ***:These findings indicate that COAF can be a potential source of anti-QS agents.
