Antimony(Sb) and recalcitrant organic dyes often coexist in dyeing wastewater, and the simultaneous removal of Sb and dyes has been a challenge for traditional biological method in the treatment of Sb-dyeing wastewater.Nanoscale zero-valent iron(n ZVI) is particularly suitable for separating heavy metals and enhancing the biodegradability of recalcitrant organic compounds. Herein, n ZVI is integrated with bioreactors(n ZVI-bio system) to achieve enhanced removal of Sb and degradation of Congo red(CR) in wastewater. The n ZVI-bio system achieves a reduction in Sb levels from 2.5 g L-1to 0.064 mg L-1, with a color removal efficiency of up to 98.60 % and a reduction in COD from 167 mg L-1to 55 mg L-1. The excellent performance is mainly attributed to n ZVI pretreatment, which removes Sb and degrades CR into smaller and more biodegradable organic compounds,providing favorable environmental conditions for the subsequent biotreatment system. This suggests that integrated n ZVI-bio system has potential for the treatment of complex wastewater containing heavy metals and recalcitrant organic dyes.

The principal forces driving the efficient enrichment and encapsulation of arsenic(As) into nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI) are the disordered arrangement of the atoms and the gradient chemical potentials within the core-shell interface. The chemical compositions and the fine structure of nZVI are characterized with a combination of spherical aberration corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy(Cs-STEM), X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy(XEDS), electron energy loss spectroscopy(EELS), and high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(HR-XPS). Atomically resolved EELS at the oxygen K-edge unfolds that the Fe species in nZVI are well stratified from Fe(Ⅲ) oxides in the outermost periphery to a mixed Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ) interlayer, then Fe(Ⅱ) oxide and the pure Fe(0) phase. Reactions between As(Ⅴ)and nZVI suggest that a well-structured local redox gradient exists within the shell layer, which serves as a thermodynamically favorable conduit for electron transfer from the iron core to the surface-bound As(Ⅴ). HR-XPS with ion sputtering shows that arsenic species shift from As(Ⅴ), As(Ⅲ)/As(Ⅴ) to As(Ⅴ)/As(Ⅲ)/As(0) from the iron oxide shell–water interface to the Fe(0) core. Results reinforce previous work on the efficacy of nZVI for removing and remediating arsenic while the analytical TEM methods are also applicable to the study of environmental interfaces and surface chemistry.

纳米零价铁(nZVI)与水中六价铬[Cr(Ⅵ)]进行反应时,其本身的结构也发生变化,从而影响其效能和性质.本文主要探究Cr(Ⅵ)溶液中共存重金属离子(Co^(2+)、Cd^(2+)、Ni^(2+)、Cu^(2+))和阴离子(Cl^(−)、CO_(3)^(2−)、NO_(3)^(−)、SO_(4)^(2−))对nZVI晶相转化的影响.研究发现,共存的重金属离子均能够促进nZVI氧化,促进nZVI转化为纤铁矿(γ-FeOOH)和针铁矿(α-FeOOH).共存的阴离子对nZVI的晶相影响与铬和阴离子浓度有关.当Cr为10 mg∙L^(−1)时,4种阴离子均抑制nZVI的氧化作用;当Cr为20 mg∙L^(−1)时,NO_(3)^(−)、SO_(4)^(2−)促进nZVI氧化,CO_(3)^(2−)抑制nZVI氧化,低浓度Cl^(−)(20 mg∙L^(−1))促进nZVI晶相转化,高浓度Cl^(−)(200 mg∙L^(−1))抑制Fe(0)转化为γ-FeOOH和γ-Fe_(2)O_(3)、Fe_(3)O_(4)的混合物;当Cr≥50 mg∙L^(−1)时,nZVI氧化受到抑制,此时4种阴离子没有明显作用.该研究对于探讨复杂环境条件下nZVI结构与去除效能之间的关系具有重要意义.

Background： Bovine mastitis is the most common and costly disease of lactating cattle worldwide. Apart from milk somatic cell count（SCC） and somatic cell score（SCS）, serum cytokines such as interleukin-17（IL-17） and interleukin-4（IL-4） may also be potential indicators for bovine mastitis. The present study was designed to investigate the effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms（SNPs） in bovine IL-17 F and IL-17 A genes on SCC, SCS and serum cytokines in Chinese Holstein and Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle, and to compare the m RNA expression variations of the cows with different genotypes.Results： A total of 464 lactating cows（337 Holstein and 127 Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle） were screened for SNPs identification and the data were analyzed using fixed effects of herd, parity, season and year of calving by general linear model procedure. The results revealed that SNP g.24392436 C ＆gt; T in IL-17 F and SNP g.24345410 A ＆gt; G in IL-17 A showed significant effects on SCC and IL-4 in Holstein（n = 337） and on IL-17 and IL-4 in Sanhe cattle（n = 127）. The homozygous GG genotype of SNP g.24345410 A ＆gt; G had significantly higher m RNA expression compared with the heterozygous AG genotype.Conclusions： The results indicate that IL-17 F and IL-17 A could be powerful candidate genes of mastitis resistance and the significant SNPs might be useful genetic markers against mastitis in both dairy and dual purpose cattle.

含大量高灰细泥的煤泥水在沉降浓缩阶段通常会添加大量高分子聚丙烯酰胺(PAM),加速细粒煤的沉降,但PAM的过量使用使浓缩机底流更加黏稠,导致压滤周期延长。通过向含大量高分子PAM的矿浆中添加无机盐FeSO_(4)、K_(2)S_(2)O_(8)溶液,进行不同药剂用量下煤泥的压滤试验,对药剂添加前后PAM溶液和含PAM矿浆的黏度、颗粒表面电性及颗粒团聚形态进行测试分析,探讨FeSO_(4)、K_(2)S_(2)O_(8)的作用机理。结果表明:FeSO_(4)、K_(2)S_(2)O_(8)可降解矿浆中的大分子PAM,降低矿浆黏度,形成松散的大絮体,提高速度,缩短压滤周期,降低滤饼含水率。由于FeSO_(4)兼具对PAM的化学降解和对微细颗粒的凝聚作用,其助滤效果优于K_(2)S_(2)O_(8)。当FeSO_(4)用量为1000 g/t时矿浆黏度降低482 mPa·s,压滤时间缩短70.97%,滤饼含水率降低2.31%。FeSO_(4)价廉易得,可在选煤厂高泥化煤泥脱水助滤上发挥积极作用。

Effects of Hypoxia Stress and Different Level of Mn2+ on Antioxidant Enzyme of Tomato Seedlings

The changes of antioxidant enzyme activities and related genes expression of tomato seedlings were evaluated under hypoxia stress with different levels of Mn2+. Activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), ascorbate peroxide (APX), glutathione reductase (GR), catalase (CAT), the contents of H2O2, ascorbic (AsA) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were studied to investigate how active oxygen damaged the membrane lipid under hypoxia stress. With 10-200 μmol?L-1 Mn2+, the activities of SOD, POD, APX, GR and the contents of H2O2, AsA, MDA of leaves and roots increased significantly, which indicated that low Mn2+ could eliminate the active oxygen and protect the membrane lipid from hurt. But the activities of catalase (CAT) decreased evidently in the root. When the concentration of Mn2+ reached 400-600 μmol?L-1 under hypoxia stress, the activities of SOD, POD, APX, GR and ASA content decreased remarkably. However, the contents of H2O2 and MDA increased contrarily. A series of resistance genes level achieved peak value with 10 μmol?L-1 Mn2+. The expression level of SOD, CAT, APX, POD, GR were 6.28, 2.19, 5.66, 5.21 and 6.79 times compared to control respectively. These results illustrated appropriate amount of Mn2+ could reduce the damage of active oxygen under hypoxia stress, but reversely, high level of Mn2+ just aggravated the already serious damage to the tomato seedlings.

为提高桥梁水下结构裂缝检测任务的自动化水平,提出了一种基于分层残差神经网络的裂缝检测方法。该方法利用多层次特征残差连接机构,抑制了建筑表面噪声特征的干扰,提取并融合了不同层次的特征图像,增强了模型对裂缝区域和非裂缝区域的精确划分能力。同时借助迁移学习方法,利用预训练模型的参数初始化模型并借助水下裂缝数据集调整权重,使模型具备分析数据量极少的桥梁水下结构裂缝数据集的能力。该模型在自采集的桥梁水下结构裂缝数据集上进行了试验验证。结果表明:分层残差神经网络具备精确划分裂缝像素与非裂缝像素的能力,预测像素准确率达到87.2%,证明了该方法的可行性。该模型为桥梁水下结构裂缝检测任务的自动化提供了一种有效的解决方案,同时也为其他类似的图像检测任务提供了一种参考思路。

General formulas for drag coefficient and settling velocity of sphere based on theoretical law

The settlement of particles is of great importance in many areas.The accurate determination of drag coefficient and settling velocity in wide Reynolds number(Re)range remains a problem.In this paper,a series of new formulas for drag coefficient of spherical particles based on theoretical laws,such as the Stokes law,the Oseen law,and the Goldstein law,were developed and fitted using 480 groups of experimental data(Re<2 105).The results show that the 2nd approximation of a rational function containing only one parameter can describe CD–Re relationship accurately over the whole Re range of0–2 105.The new developed formulas containing five parameters show higher goodness over wide Re range than presently existing equations.The introduction of the Oseen law is helpful for improving the fitting goodness of the empirical formulas.On the basis of one of the Oseen-based CD–Re formulas giving the lowest sum of squared relative errors Q over the whole Re range(Re<2 105),a general formula for settling velocity utbased on dimensionless parameters was proposed showing high goodness.

针对肌腱-鞘结构在传递过程中存在严重摩擦、间隙滞后等非线性因素导致无法精准控制的问题,提出了一种基于BoucWen模型的非线性位置控制器。首先,根据Bouc-Wen模型对肌腱-鞘结构的迟滞进行建模;其次,在输出位置反馈的情况下,提出了一种迟滞观测器以补偿系统的非线性干扰;然后,根据迟滞观测器构建了非线性控制器以实现远端的精确位置控制。同时,还利用Lyapunov稳定性准则分析和证明了肌腱-鞘系统的稳定性和有界收敛性;此外,还考虑了远端外部干扰对系统输出的影响。最后,仿真结果表明所提控制器不仅可以显著改善肌腱-鞘结构的精确控制性能,还能有效抑制外部干扰对系统的影响。与常见的逆前馈控制相比,所提出的控制策略在正弦信号的跟踪误差方面表现出色,其峰值仅为0.011 rad,相较于常规情况下的0.251 rad,显著降低。

The platinum nanoparticles were adsorbed on graphene oxide sheets and played an important role in catalytic reduction of graphene oxide with hydrazine, leading to the formation of graphene-Pt nanoparticles. Because of their good electronic properties, biocompatibility and high surface area, graphene-Pt based composites achieved the direct electron transfer of redox enzyme and maintained their bioactivity well. The graphene-Pt nanocomposites were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED). The amperometric biosensor fabricated by depositing glucose oxidase over Nafion-solubilized graphene-Pt electrode retained its biocatalytic activity and has offered fast and sensitive glucose quantification.
