The modification methods of pozzolan slurry combined with sodium silicate and silicon-based additive were respectively adopted to treat recycled coarse brick-mixed aggregate(RCBA)in this *** compressive strength and chloride permeability resistance of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC)before and after modification treatment were tested,and the microstructure of RAC was analyzed by mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that the physical properties of RCBA strengthened by modification treatment are improved,and the compressive strength and chloride permeability resistance of treated RAC are also significantly *** modification treatment optimizes the pore size distribution of RAC,which increases the number of gel pores and transition pores,and decreases the number of capillary pores and macro *** surface fractal dimension shows a significant correlation with chloride diffusion coefficient,indicating that the variation of chloride permeability of treated RAC is consistent with the microstructure evolution.

While Fe-based oxygen carriers(OC) are regarded to be promising for chemical looping combustion(CLC),the decrease of CO_2 selectivity during deep reduction process and the severe agglomeration of Fe_2O_3 often occur after multiple redox cycles due to the low oxygen ***,Fe-substituted Bahexaaluminates(Ba Fe_xAl_(12)– xO_(19),denoted as BF_xA-H,x = 1 and 2) prepared by a modified two-step method exhibited not only higher amount of converted oxygen(Ot) and CH_4 conversion(77% and 81% vs.17%and 75%) than those prepared by the traditional co-precipitation method(BF_xA-C,x = 1 and 2) but also high CO_2 selectivity above 92% during the nearly whole reduction from Fe^(3+) to Fe^(2+).Furthermore,the BFxA-H exhibited the excellent recyclability during 50 *** better performance was ascribed to the markedly enhanced oxygen mobility which resulted from dominant occupancy of Fe cations in Al(5) sites(Fe^5: 71% and 70% vs.49% and 41%) in mirror planes of hexaaluminate leading to larger amount of lattice oxygen coordinated with Fe^5(O–Fe^5)(0.45 and 0.85 mmol/g vs.0.31 and 0.50 mmol/g).The improvement of oxygen mobility also favored the preservation of chemical state of Fe cations in hexaaluminate structure in the re-oxidation step,resulting in the excellent recyclability of BF_xA-H.

Hydrogen generation from electrochemical water splitting powered by renewable energy is important to the sustainable society,but the prohibitive cost of current Pt electrocatalyst has impeded the large-scale production of hydrogen by water *** this contribution,a new low-Pt electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) has been fabricated by a facile one-pot synthesis approach,in which Pt^(2+)cations and phosphomolybdic acid confined in the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) were submitted to pyrolysis to yield Pt single atoms dispersed into Mo_(2)C nanocrystals in 3 D porous carbon *** as-synthesized Pt_(1)-Mo_(2)C-C catalyst with Pt content of only 0.7 wt% exhibited remarkably enhanced activity for HER in 1 M KOH,with overpotential at 10 mA/cm^(2) lowered from 211 mV to 155 mV and 7-fold higher mass activity(7.14 A/mgpt) than the benchmark 20 wt% Pt/*** promoted activity can be attributed to the electronic interaction between Pt single atoms and Mo2C surface,which not only improved water activation but also strengthened hydrogen adsorption,as indicated by FTIR and microcalorimetric characterizations.

A proxy signature allows an entity, called original signer, to delegate its signing power to another entity, called proxy signer, to sign messages on its behalf. Proxy signatures have many practical applications and are very important cryptographic protocol. In this paper, we propose an efficient proxy signature scheme from bilinear pairings. We prove it secure in the random oracle model and analyze computation cost of our scheme. Our scheme satisfies all the properties required for proxy signatures.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of a decoction made from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Wumei pill,on regulatory T cells and interleukin-10(IL-10) in a rat model of ulcerative colitis induced by2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS).METHODS:Rat ulcerative colitis was induced with *** modeled rats were randomly divided into six groups:normal control group;model group;sulfasalazine suppositories treatment group;and high,moderate,and low dosage of Jiaweiwumei decoction groups(12 rats each).Colon injury index was evaluated after 14 *** peripheral blood lymphocyte separation,CD4 + T cells and CD4+/CD25+ T cell percentage was detected by flow *** content of IL-10 in serum and intestinal mucosa tissue was detected by sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent ***:Colon injury indices in the decoction groups were effectively reduced,compared with the model group(P < 0.05).Compared with that of the control group,the CD4+/CD25+ to CD4+ T lymphocyte ratio of the model group was significantly lower,while the decoction treatment improved the CD4 +/CD25 + to CD4 + T lymphocyte ratio(P <0.05).The serum and mucosal IL-10 content of the model group was significantly lower(P < 0.05) than that in the control group,while the decoction group had significantly higher serum and intestinal mucosal IL-10 content than that in the model group(P < 0.05).The regulatory T cell content was negatively correlated with the colonic injury index(r = 0.68,P < 0.05),and positively correlated with the content of serum IL-10(r = 0.87,P < 0.05) and intestinal mucosal IL-10(r= 0.79,P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Jiaweiwumei decoction had significant effects on regulatory T cells and IL-10 in rats with TNBS-induced ulcerative colitis.

Thermal Expansion and Mechanical Properties of Middle Reinforcement Content SiCp/Al Composites Fabricated by PM Technology

Middle reinforcement content SiCp/Al composites（Vp=30%, 35% and 40%） for precision optical systems applications were fabricated by powder metallurgy technology. The composites were free of porosity and SiC particles distributed uniformly in the composites. The mean linear coefficients of thermal expansion（20-100 ℃） of SiCp/Al composites ranged from 11.6×10-6 to 13.3×10-6 K-1 and decreased with an increase in volume fraction of SiC content. The experimental coeffi cients of thermal expansion agreed well with predicted values based on Kerner＇s model. The Brinell hardness increased from 116 to 147, and the modulus increased from 99 to 112 GPa for the corresponding composites. The tensile strengths were higher than 320 MPa, but no signifi cant increasing trend between tensile strength and SiC content was observed.

In this work, MoOx promoted Ir/SiO2 catalysts were prepared and used for the selective hydrogenolysis of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol （THFA） to 1,5-pentanediol in a continuous flow reactor. The effects of different noble metals （Ir, Pt, Pd, Ru, Rh）, supports and Ir contents were screened. Among the investigated catalysts, 4 wt%Ir-MoOx/SiO2 with a Mo/Ir atomic ratio of 0.13 exhibited the best catalytic performance. The synergy between Ix particles and the partially reduced isolated MoOx species attached on them is essential for the excellent catalytic performance of Ix-MoOx/SiO2. The catalyst exhibited a better hydrogenolysis efficiency of THFA with the selectivity of 1,5-pentanediol of 65%-74% at a conversion of THFA of 70%-75% when the initial THFA concentration is ranging from 20 wt% and 40 wt%. And higher system pressure was also in favor of the conversion of THFA. During a stability test, the conversion of THFA and 1,5-pentanediol yield over Ix-MoOz/SiO2 decreased with reaction time, which can be explained by the leaching of Mo species during the reaction.

The influence of non-metallic inclusions on quality and performance of steel depends on not only the quantity of inclusions,but also the type,shape,size,distribution,and deformation behavior. In this paper,ANSYS finite element analysis software is used to simulate the stress field of inclusions appearing in heavy rudder arm steel castings,the effects of inclusion type,shape,distribution,and various loading conditions were studied. The micromechanics of inclusions in such castings were also analyzed. Such research provides further clarification on reaction mechanism of inclusions under complex loading conditions.

Maternal effects play a crucial role in regulating populations of small mammals and anti-predator behaviors of *** present study investigated the effects of maternal stress induced by exposure to predator odors during gestation on the behavioral and physiological responses of offspring in Brandt’s vole(Lasiopodomys brandtii).Effects included changes in growth,behaviors,hormone levels in serum,and fosB/ΔfosB mRNA and FosB/ΔFosB protein expression in the *** results showed that when pregnant voles were exposed to cat and rabbit urine odors for 18 days(1 h/day),the weight of the female offspring decreased;however,the thymus and ovary indices increased,compared with the control *** offspring of voles exposed to cat odor spent more time exploring and foraging,and showed a decrease in corticosterone(CORT)compared with voles in the control *** fosB/ΔfosB mRNA and FosB/ΔFosB protein expressions were downregulated in the hypothalamus of male offspring in the cat odor-exposed group compared to that in offspring in the control ***,the mRNA levels of fosB/ΔfosB in the hypothalamus of female offspring did not decrease in response to cat urine *** findings suggested that maternal stress induced by predator odors during gestation restrained the growth of female offspring and increased the duration of exploring and foraging behaviors of male offspring by regulating the HPA axis,which,in turn,reduced the sensitivity of offspring to unfamiliar environments and increased their probability of becoming prey.
