Mn single-atoms decorated CNT electrodes for high-performance supercapacitors

Developing highly robust and efficient electrode materials is of critical importance to promoting the energy density of current supercapacitors for ***,we report an efficient catalyst with monodispersed Mn single-atoms embedded in carbon nanotubes(Mn-CNTs)for enhancing the electrode performance of supercapacitors.A high specific capacitance(1523.6 F·g^(-1) at 1.0 A·g^(-1))can be achieved,which is about twice as high as the specific capacitance of the electrode material without the introduction of Mn ***,the asymmetric electrochemical capacitor created with Mn-CNT and activated carbon exhibits a high energy density of 180.8 Wh·kg^(-1) at a power density of 1.4 kW·kg^(-1),much higher than most reported *** study shows that the integration of Mn atoms into the CNT can enhance the charge transport capacity and the number of polar active sites of Mn-CNT and then facilitate chemical interactions between Mn-CNT and OH-.This work provides a novel strategy to enable high-energy storage in supercapacitors by introducing single-atoms into carbon nanotubes to improve electrodes’energy density and cycle life.

A fluid-structure interaction approach is proposed in this paper based onNon-Ordinary State-Based Peridynamics(NOSB-PD)and Updated Lagrangian Particle Hydrodynamics(ULPH)to simulate the fluid-structure interaction problem with large geometric deformation and material failure and solve the fluid-structure interaction problem of Newtonian *** the coupled framework,the NOSB-PD theory describes the deformation and fracture of the solid material *** is applied to describe the flow of Newtonian fluids due to its advantages in computational *** framework utilizes the advantages of NOSB-PD theory for solving discontinuous problems and ULPH theory for solving fluid problems,with good computational stability and robustness.A fluidstructure coupling algorithm using pressure as the transmission medium is established to deal with the fluidstructure *** dynamic model of solid structure and the PD-ULPH fluid-structure interaction model involving large deformation are verified by numerical *** results agree with the analytical solution,the available experimental data,and other numerical ***,the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method in solving the fluid-structure interaction problem are *** fluid-structure interactionmodel based on ULPH and NOSB-PD established in this paper provides a new idea for the numerical solution of fluidstructure interaction and a promising approach for engineering design and experimental prediction.

Precipitation nowcasting,as a crucial component of weather forecasting,focuses on predicting very short-range precipitation,typically within six *** approach relies heavily on real-time observations rather than numerical weather *** core concept involves the spatio-temporal extrapolation of current precipitation fields derived from ground radar echoes and/or satellite images,which was generally actualized by employing computer image or vision ***,with stirring breakthroughs in artificial intelligence(ai)techniques,deep learning(DL)methods have been used as the basis for developing novel approaches to precipitation *** progress has been obtained in recent years,manifesting the strong potential of DL-based nowcasting models for their advantages in both prediction accuracy and computational *** paper provides an overview of these precipitation nowcasting approaches,from which two stages along the advancing in this field *** models that were established on an elementary neural network dominated in the first stage,while large meteorological models that were based on complex network architectures prevailed in the *** particular,the nowcasting accuracy of such data-driven models has been greatly increased by imposing suitable physical *** integration of ai models and physical models seems to be a promising way to improve precipitation nowcasting techniques further.

It is urgent to develop catalysts with application potential for oxidative coupling of methane(OCM)at relatively lower ***,three-dimensional ordered macro porous(3 DOM)La_(2-x)Sr_(x)Ce_(2-y)cayO_(7-δ)(A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)-type)catalysts with disordered defective cubic fluorite phased structure were successfully prepared by a colloidal crystal template method.3DOM structure promotes the accessibility of the gaseous reactants(O2and CH4)to the active *** co-doping of ca and Sr ions in La_(2-x)Sr_(x)Ce_(2-y)cayO_(7-δ)catalysts improved the formation of oxygen vacancies,thereby leading to increased density of surface-active oxygen species(O_(2)^(-))for the activation of CH4and the formation of C2products(C2H6and C2H4).3DOM La_(2-x)Sr_(x)Ce_(2-y)cayO_(7-δ)catalysts exhibit high catalytic activity for OCM at low temperature.3DOM La1.7Sr0.3Ce1.7ca0.3O7-δcatalyst with the highest density of O_(2)^(-)species exhibited the highest catalytic activity for low-temperature OCM,i.e.,its CH4conversion,selectivity and yield of C2products at 650℃are 32.2%,66.1%and 21.3%,*** mechanism was proposed that the increase in surface oxygen vacancies induced by the co-doping of ca and Sr ions boosts the key step of C-H bond breaking and C-C bond coupling in catalyzing low-temperature *** is meaningful for the development of the low-temperature and high-efficient catalysts for OCM reaction in practical application.

The rapid progress of modern technologies has accelerated the prominence of thermal expansion mismatch between materials,and tunable thermal expansion materials will be a powerful safeguard against this ***,isotropic MHfF_(6)(M=ca,Mn,Fe,and Co)compounds with tunable thermal expansion have been produced via a low-cost synthetic method and *** utilizing temperature dependent X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman spectroscopy,combined with first principles calculations,it was revealed that the transverse thermal vibrations of the F atoms are dominated by low-frequency phonons with negative Grüneisen parameters and are therefore the origin of the negative thermal expansion(NTE).Very interestingly,with the increase of the M atomic number,the metal…F atomic linkages become stiffer,reducing the number of vibrational modes with negative Grüneisen parameters,so that the strong NTE can be gradually adjusted to moderate NTE and to near zero thermal *** present study achieves the tunable thermal expansion in a new compound family and shed light on the internal mechanism from the perspective of lattice vibrational dynamics.

Effects of synthetic site water on bentonite-concrete system for a potential nuclear waste repository

Leaching behavior and microstructure of phosphorus in converter slag

Converter slag is a by-product of the steelmaking process and contains a large amount of ca,Fe,P and other *** the phosphorus in the converter slag can be effectively extracted,the resulting phosphorus can be used as a phosphate *** in converter slag is mainly enriched in 2caO·SiO_(2)-3caO·P_(2)O_(5)(C_(2)S-C_(3)P)solid solution and is easily dissolved in ***,acid leaching method was used to dissolve the solid solution to extract phosphorus in converter slag,so as to realize the recycling of phosphorus resources in converter *** leaching behavior of three actual converter slags from different steel mills in acid leaching solutions composed of citric acid,sodium hydroxide,hydrochloric acid and deionized water was studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy to reveal the change in object image structure as well as SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron before and after acid *** results show that only a small amount of phosphorus in converter slag with too low basicity is enriched in C_(2)S-C_(3)P solid solution,resulting in poor leaching *** the converter slag has a high basicity,the removal effect of phosphorus is 70.64%-81.88%.In addition,when the basicity of converter slag is roughly the same,the dephosphorization effect of slag with high FeO content is relatively *** acid leaching will cause depolymerization behavior of SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron,so that the mole fraction of Q0(Si)(asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O bond in SiO_(4) tetrahedron with bridge oxygen number of 0)and NBO/Si(non-bridging oxygen in silicate tetrahedra)will ***-containing solids can be obtained from the solution after acid leaching through static precipitation,and the solids have the potential to make phosphate fertilizers.
