aiM： To investigate whether the recombinant adenovirus induces the TNF-α-mediated apoptosis in vivo. METHODS： Human hepatocarcinoma cell line （HepG2） cells were transfected into BAlB/c nude mice, and the tumor growth curve was drawn. We analyzed apoptosis in HepG2 cells by TUNEl, HE staining and electron microscopy. RESUlTS： AdIκBαM was expressed stably and efficiently in HepG2 and could not be degraded by induction of TNF-α. Tumor growth in mice could be reduced remarkably if treated by AdIκBαM plus TNF-α. There was apoptosis of 〉 70% of cells treated with AdIκBαM plus TNF-α and about 50% of cells treated with AdIκBαM. In contrast, there was few cell apoptosis in HepG2 cells treated with phosphate buffered saline and AdIκBαM. HepG2 cells in mice also exhibited a high level of apoptosis after in vivo injection with AdIκBαM. The tumor growth curve indicated the tumor transfected with AdIκBαM could be restrained. CONClUSION： AdIκBαM gene therapy greatly enhances apoptosis due to inhibition of an NF-κB-mediated antiapoptosis signaling pathway.

Soil and water losses through erosion have been serious in the black soil region of Northeast China. Therefore, a sloping cultivated land in Songnen Plain was selected as a case study to： 1） determine the ^137Cs reference inventory in the study area; 2） calculate erosion and deposition rates of black soil on different slope locations; 3） conduct a sensitivity analysis of some model parameters; and 4） compare overall outputs using four different models. Three transects were set in the field with five slope locations for each transect, including summit, shoulder-slope, back-slope, foot-slope, and toe-slope. Field measurements and model simulation were used to estimate a bomb-derived ^137Cs reference inventory in the study area. Soil erosion and deposition rates were estimated using four ^137Cs models and percentage of ^137Cs loss/gain. The ^137Cs reference value in the study area was 2 232.8 Bq m^-2 with ^137Cs showing a clear topographic pattern, decreasing from the summit to shoulder-slope, then increasing again at the foot-slope and reaching a maximum at the toe-slope, Predicted soil redistribution rates for different slope locations varied. Among models, the Yang Model （YANG-M） overestimated erosion loss but underestimated deposition. However, the standard mass balance model （MBM1） gave predictions similar to a mass balance model incorporating soil movement by tillage （MBM2）. Sensitivity analysis of the proportion factor and distribution pattern of ^137Cs in the surface layer demonstrated the impact of ^137Cs enrichment on calculation of the soil erosion rate. Factors influencing the redistribution of fallout ^137Cs in landscape should be fully considered as calculating soil redistribution rate using ^137Cs technique.

Electroanalytical techniques could be a reliable and promising alternative to classical and sophisticated methods because of their simplicity（small and portable）,easy use,the ability to deliver fast response with high sensitivity and selectivity.A square wave voltammetric method was developed for the assessment of organophosphorus（OPs） compound impact on acetylcholinesterase（AChE） of Pheretima with 2,6-dimethyl-p-benzoquinone（2,6DMBQ） as a redox *** substrate of acetylthiocholine is hydrolyzed by AChE and the produced thiocholine reacts with 2,6-DMBQ to give an obvious shift of electrochemical *** reduction peak of 2,6-DMBQ is located at around 0.18 V which is far away from the oxidation potential of possible interference components often present in *** decreased rate of reduction current was related with the activity of *** inhibition of parathion-methyl on AChE was *** inhibiton rate of OPs on AChE activity increased quickly during the first 10 min inhibition,and after that the value of inhibition rate approached to be *** lost almost 29.3% of activity after 10 min incubation with 1 μg/ml parathion-methyl and 67.5% of activity with 10 μg/ml parathion-methyl,while the activity that corresponds to 40 μg/ml parathion-methyl was nearly completely inhibited（94.9%）.Compared to cyclic voltammetry and amperometry,Square wave voltammetry（SWV） method is a high sensitive electroanalysis with fast scan-rate（only several seconds for one signal value） which is useful to prevent the electrodes from possible fouling or *** method can be employed to assess the inhibition of organophosphate on AChE and investigate OPs impact on environmental animals.

We describe a new BVRI multicolor CCD photometric system situated at the prime focus of the 85-cm telescope at the Xinglong Station of NAOC. Atmospheric extinction effects, photometric accuracy and color calibration dependence of the system are investigated. Additional attention was paid to giving observers guidance in estimating throughput, detection limit, signal-to-noise ratio and exposure time.

aiM:To evaluate the long-term results of patients with chronic uveitis-induced cataract by phacoemulsification with IOl implantation and intravitreal injection of dexamethasone(DEX)intravitreal implant(Ozurdex).METHODS:The study included 32 eyes of 26 patients treated with DEX implant due to chronic uveitis-induced cataract and followed up for at least a ***-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure(IOP),anterior chamber reaction,central macular thickness(CMT),intraoperative and postoperative complications and uveitis recurrence were analyzed ***:A successful surgery was performed in all *** average follow-up period was *** female/male ratio was 13/*** age was 45.65±3.83y(range 26 to 65y).Etiologically,rheumatic arthritis occurred in 6 patients(18.75%),ankylosing spondylitis in 4(12.50%),HlA-B27 associated uveitis in 3(9.38%),Vogt-KoyanagiHarada-associated uveitis in 4(12.50%),Behcet’s disease in 2(6.25%),and 7(21.88%)suffered from unknown *** 32 eyes had varying degrees of improvement at 12mo after surgery,with 2 eyes showing BCVA of 0.1 or below(6.25%),6 having 0.1-0.5(18.75%),18 of 0.5-1.0(56.25%),and 6 of 1.0 or above(18.75%).No cases with increased IOP were *** values of mean CMT was increased at day 1,decreased at 1,3mo after surgery and increased at 6,12mo after *** severe uveitis reactions,such as fibrinous exudates in the anterior chamber and exudative membrane formation on the anterior surface of the IOl,were observed after ***:The present studies show that intravitreal injection of Ozudex during cataract operation can provide a new option for the clinical treatment of uveitis-induced cataract.

Time domain analysis is an essential implement to study the buffeting behavior of long-span bridges for it can consider the non-linear effect which is significant in long-span bridges. The prerequisite of time domain analysis is the accurate description of 3D turbulence winds. In this paper, some hypotheses for simplifying the 3D turbulence simulation of long-span cable-stayed bridges are conducted, considering the structural characteristics. The turbulence wind which is a 3D multivariate stochastic vector process is converted into four independent 1D univariate stochastic processes. Based on recorded wind data from structural health monitoring system (SHMS) of the Sutong Bridge, China, the measured spectra expressions are then presented using the nonlinear least-squares fitting method. Turbulence winds at the Sutong Bridge site are simulated based on the spectral representation method and the Fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique, and the relevant results derived from target spectra including measured spectra and recommended spectra are compared. The reliability and accuracy of the presented turbulence simulation method are validated through comparisons between simulated and target spectra (measured and recommended spectra). The obtained turbulence si-mulations can not only serve further analysis of the buffeting behavior of the Sutong Bridge, but references for structural anti-wind design in adjacent regions.
