MANY cases of pure red cell aplasia （PRCA） were mediated by over-function of immune cells, and responded well to immunosuppressive therapy. Sometimes refractory cases also arose. Fludarabine is an analogue of adenosine resistant to deamination which is widely used for B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia （CLL） and other hematological malignancies.^2 As a strong immunosuppressive agent, fludarabine has generally been used in nonmyeloblative conditioning regimens for hematopoietic stem cells transplantation for hematological malignancies and severe aplastic anemia recently.^3 In this study,

THYMOMA, a relatively rare epithelial neoplasm with unique clinical and pathologic features, is the most usual diagnosis for a mass located in the mediastinum. It is often associated withautoimmune disorders. The myastnema gravls ano pure red cell aplasia are the most common disorders, with the incidences of 40% and 5%, respectively, while the incidence of aplastic anemia is only about 0-1.4%. 1 Thymectomy is hard to perform on patients with severe aplastic anemia（SAA） due to severe pancytopenia.

Objective To evaluated the efficiency of low-dose cytosine arabinoside plus aclarubicin with concurrent administration of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor （CAG） regimen for refractory biphenotypic acute leukemia （BAL）. Methods We treated 5 refractory BAL patients by CAG regimen （10 mg.m 2 cytosine arabinoside subcutaneously administrated every 12 hours, day 1-14; 5-7 mg·m^-2 aclarubicin intravenously administrated daily, day 1-8; and concurrently used 200 μg·m^-2·d^-1 granulocyte colony-stimulating factor subcutaneously） from November 2002 to April 2007. The efficacy of the regimen was evaluated by response rate, and the side effects were also measured. Results The complete remission rate was 80%, median duration of absolute neutrophil count〈5.0×10^8/L and platelet count〈2.0×10^10/L was day 13 and day 1, respectively; and the infection rate was low （Ⅲ-Ⅳ infection rate, 20.00%）.

＜正＞Objective:In this study,we explored the efficiency and toxicity of 46 cases of double-unit CBT in adults with hematologic disease. Methods:The tolerance;transplant related complications;survival rate and disease free survival rate were observed and analyzed.A nonmyeloablative conditioning regimen included cyclophosphamide,fludarabine and 2Gy TBI. In the pathogenesis of major depressive disorder, chronic stress-related neuroinflammation hinders favorable prognosis and antidepressant response. Mitochondrial DNA may be an inflammatory trigger, after its release from stress-induced dysfunctional central nervous system mitochondria into peripheral circulation. This evidence supports the potential use of peripheral mitochondrial DNA as a neuroinflammatory biomarker for the diagnosis and treatment of major depressive disorder. Herein, we critically review the neuroinflammation theory in major depressive disorder, providing compelling evidence that mitochondrial DNA release acts as a critical biological substrate, and that it constitutes the neuroinflammatory disease pathway. After its release, mitochondrial DNA can be carried in the exosomes and transported to extracellular spaces in the central nervous system and peripheral circulation. Detectable exosomes render encaged mitochondrial DNA relatively stable. This mitochondrial DNA in peripheral circulation can thus be directly detected in clinical practice. These characteristics illustrate the potential for mitochondrial DNA to serve as an innovative clinical biomarker and molecular treatment target for major depressive disorder. This review also highlights the future potential value of clinical applications combining mitochondrial DNA with a panel of other biomarkers, to improve diagnostic precision in major depressive disorder.

Morphological alterations in dendritic spines have been linked to changes in functional communication between neurons that affect learning and ***-4 KIF21A helps organize the microtubule-actin network at the cell cortex by interacting with KANK1;however,whether KIF21A modulates dendritic structure and function in neurons remains *** this study,we found that KIF21A was distributed in a subset of dendritic spines,and that these KIF21A-positive spines were larger and more structurally plastic than KIF21A-negative ***,the interaction between KIF21A and KANK1 was found to be critical for dendritic spine morphogenesis and synaptic *** of either KIF21A or KANK1 inhibited dendritic spine morphogenesis and dendritic branching,and these deficits were fully rescued by coexpressing full-length KIF21A or KANK1,but not by proteins with mutations disrupting direct binding between KIF21A and KANK1 or binding between KANK1 and *** down KIF21A in the hippocampus of rats inhibited the amplitudes of long-term potentiation induced by high-frequency stimulation and negatively impacted the animals’cognitive *** together,our findings demonstrate the function of KIF21A in modulating spine morphology and provide insight into its role in synaptic function.

Impact of ocean data assimilation on the seasonal forecast of the 2014/15 marine heatwave in the Northeast Pacific Ocean

A remarkable marine heatwave,known as the“Blob”,occurred in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from late 2013 to early 2016,which displayed strong warm anomalies extending from the surface to a depth of 300 *** study employed two assimilation schemes based on the global Climate Forecast System of Nanjing University of Information Science(NUIST-CFS 1.0)to investigate the impact of ocean data assimilation on the seasonal prediction of this extreme marine *** sea surface temperature(SST)nudging scheme assimilates SST only,while the deterministic ensemble Kalman filter(EnKF)scheme assimilates observations from the surface to the deep *** latter notably improves the forecasting skill for subsurface temperature anomalies,especially at the depth of 100-300 m(the lower layer),outperforming the SST nudging *** excels in predicting both horizontal and vertical heat transport in the lower layer,contributing to improved forecasts of the lower-layer warming during the *** improvements stem from the assimilation of subsurface observational data,which are important in predicting the upper-ocean *** results suggest that assimilating ocean data with the EnKF scheme significantly enhances the accuracy in predicting subsurface temperature anomalies during the Blob and offers better understanding of its underlying mechanisms.
