BACKGROUND Propofol and sevoflurane are commonly used anesthetic agents for maintenance anesthesia during radical resection of gastric cancer.However,there is a debate concerning their differential effects on cognitive function,anxiety,and depression in patients undergoing this procedure.aiM To compare the effects of propofol and sevoflurane anesthesia on postoperative cognitive function,anxiety,depression,and organ function in patients undergoing radical resection of gastric cancer.METHODS A total of 80 patients were involved in this research.The subjects were divided into two groups:Propofol group and sevoflurane group.The evaluation scale for cognitive function was the Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment(LOTCA),and anxiety and depression were assessed with the aid of the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS).Hemodynamic indicators,oxidative stress levels,and pulmonary function were also measured.RESULTS The LOTCA score at 1 d after surgery was significantly lower in the propofol group than in the sevoflurane group.Additionally,the SAS and SDS scores of the sevoflurane group were significantly lower than those of the propofol group.The sevoflurane group showed greater stability in heart rate as well as the mean arterial pressure compared to the propofol group.Moreover,the sevoflurane group displayed better pulmonary function and less lung injury than the propofol group.CONCLUSION Both propofol and sevoflurane could be utilized as maintenance anesthesia during radical resection of gastric cancer.Propofol anesthesia has a minimal effect on patients'pulmonary function,consequently enhancing their postoperative recovery.Sevoflurane anesthesia causes less impairment on patients'cognitive function and mitigates negative emotions,leading to an improved postoperative mental state.Therefore,the selection of anesthetic agents should be based on the individual patient's specific circumstances.

Al-modified yolk-shell silica particle-supported NiMo catalysts for ultradeep hydrodesulfurization of dibenzothiophene and 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene:Efficient accessibility of active sites and suitable acidity

Yolk-shell SiO2 particles(YP)with center-radial meso-channels were fabricated through a simple and effective method.Al-containing YP-supported NiMo catalysts with different Al amounts(NiMo/AYP-x,x=Si/Al molar proportion)were prepared and dibenzothiophene(DBT)and 4,6-dimethyl-dibenzothiophene(4,6-DMDBT)were employed as the probes to evaluate the hydrodesulfurization(HDS)catalytic performance.The as-prepared AYP-x carriers and corresponding catalysts were characterized by some advanced characterizations to obtain deeper correlations between physicochemical properties and the HDS performance.The average pore sizes of series AYP-x supports are above 6.0 nm,which favors the mass transfer of organic sulfides.The cavity between the yolk and the shell is beneficial for the enrichment of S-containing compounds and the accessibility between reactants and active metals.Aluminum embedded into the silica framework could facilitate the formation of Lewis(L)and Brønsted(B)acid sites and adjust the metal-support interaction(MSI).Among all the as-synthesized catalysts,NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst shows the highest HDS activities.The improved HDS activity of NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst is attributed to the perfect combination of excellent structural properties of the yolk-shell mesoporous silica,enhanced acidity,moderate MSI,and good accessibility/dispersion of active components.

Cascade model for continuous prediction of silicon content of molten iron with coupled state variable nodes

With the goal of achieving advanced and multi-step prediction of silicon content of molten iron in the blast furnace ironmaking process,a path adaptive optimization seeking strategy coupled with simulated annealing algorithm and genetic algorithm was proposed from the perspective of innovative intelligent algorithm application.It was further coupled with wavelet neural network algorithm to deeply explore the nonlinear and strong coupling relationship between the information of big data samples and construct a cascade model for continuous prediction of silicon content of molten iron with the intelligent research results of state variables such as permeability index as the node and silicon content forecast as the output.In the model construction process,the 3r criterion was used for non-anomaly estimation of abnormal data to build a time-aligned sample set for multi-step forecasting of iron content,the normalization method was used to eliminate the influence of dimensionality of sample information,and the spearman correlation analysis algorithm was used to eliminate the time delay between state variables,control variables,and silicon content of molten iron in the blast furnace smelting process.The results show that permeability and theoretical combustion temperature as the key state variable nodes have real-time correlation with the silicon content of molten iron,and there are accurate forecasting results on the optimal path with the endpoint of molten iron silicon content prediction.The path finding based on the improved genetic algorithm of simulated annealing has good effect on the downscaling and depth characterization of sample data and improves the data ecology for the application of wavelet neural network algorithm.The accuracy of the real-time continuous forecasting model for the silicon content of molten iron reaches 95.24%;the hit rate of continuous forecasting one step ahead reaches 91.16%,and the hit rate of continuous forecasting five steps ahead is 87.41%.This model,which can realize the nodal dynamic

The infrared microspectroscopy beamline(BL06B) is a phase Ⅱ beamline project at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF). The construction and optical alignment of BL06B were completed by the end of 2020. By 2021, it became accessible to users. The synchrotron radiation infrared(SRIR) source included edge radiation(ER) and bending magnet radiation(BMR). The extracted angles in the horizontal and vertical directions were 40 and 20 mrad, respectively. The photon flux, spectral resolution, and focused spot size were measured at the BL06B endstation, and the experimental results were consistent with theoretical calculations. SRIR light has a small divergence angle, high brightness, and a wide wavelength range. As a source of IR microscopy, it can easily focus on a diffraction-limited spatial resolution with a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). The BL06B endstation can be applied in a wide range of research fields, including materials, chemistry, biology, geophysics, and pharmacology.

Introduction Antibiotic use for acute otitis media(AOM)is one of the major sources of antimicrobial resistance.However,the effective minimal antibiotic duration for AOM remains unclear.Moreover,guidelines often recommend broad ranges(5-10 days)of antibiotic use,yet the clinical impact of such a wide window has not been assessed.Methods We systematically searched PubMed/MEDLINE,Embase,Scopus,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library from database inception to 6 October 2021.Network meta-analysis was conducted on randomized controlled trials that assessed antibiotic treatment for AOM in children(PROSPERO CRD42020196107).Results For amoxicillin and amoxicillin-clavulanate,7-day regimens were noninferior to 10-day regimens in clinical responses[amoxicillin:risk ratio(RR)0.919(95%CI 0.820-1.031),amoxicillin-clavulanate:RR 1.108(0.957-1.282)],except for≤2 years.For the third-generation cephalosporins,7-day and 10-day regimens had similar clinical responses compared to placebo[7-day:RR 1.420(1.190-1.694),10-day:RR 1.238(1.125-1.362)compared to placebo].However,5-day regimens of amoxicillin-clavulanate and third-generation cephalosporins were inferior to 10-day regimens.Compared to amoxicillin,a shorter treatment duration was tolerable with amoxicillin-clavulanate.Conclusions Our findings indicated that 1O days of antibiotic use may be unnecessarily long,while the treatment duration should be longer than 5 days.Otherwise,5-day regimens would be sufficient for a modest treatment goal.Our findings revealed that the current wide range of recommended antibiotic durations may have influenced the clinical outcome of AOM,and a narrower antibiotic duration window should be re-established.

Pricing Guaranteed minimum Death Benefits with Dollar Cost Averaging Under Time-changed Le′vy Models

In this paper, we propose an efficient and accurate method for pricing Guaranteed minimum Death Benefit (GMDB) under time-changed Le′vy processes. Suppose that the GMDB payoff depends on a dollar cost averaging (DCA) style periodic investment, and the activity rate process in stochastic time change is modeled by a square-root process. We develop a recursive method to derive the closed form valuation formula by using the frame duality projection method. Numerical examples are reported for demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach and illustrating the interplay between contract parameters and the valuation.

Absorbed Bioactive Compounds Replicate GuanxinⅡ-Induced Endothelium-Associated in/ex vivo Vasodilation

Objective:To develop an interference-free and rapid method to elucidate GuanxinⅡ(GXⅡ)'s representative vasodilator absorbed bioactive compounds(ABCs)among enormous phytochemicals.Methods:The contents of ferulic acid,tanshinol,and hydroxysafflor yellow A(FTA)in GXⅡ/rat serum after the oral administration of GXⅡ(30 g/kg)were detected using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.Totally 18 rats were randomly assigned to the control group(0.9%normal saline),GXⅡ(30 g/kg)and FTA(5,28 and 77 mg/kg)by random number table method.Diastolic coronary flow velocity-time integral(VTI),i.e.,coronary flow or coronary flow-mediated dilation(CFMD),and endothelium-intact vascular tension of isolated aortic rings were measured.After 12 h of exposure to blank medium or 0.5 mmol/L H_(2)O_(2),endothelial cells(ECs)were treated with post-dose GXⅡof supernatant from deproteinized serum(PGSDS,300μL PGSDS per 1 m L of culture medium)or FTA(237,1539,and 1510 mg/m L)for 10 min as control,H_(2)O_(2),PGSDS and FTA groups.Nitric oxide(NO),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),endothelin-1(ET-1),superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)and phosphorylated phosphoinositide 3 kinase(p-PI3K),phosphorylated protein kinase B(p-AKT),phosphorylated endothelial nitric oxide synthase(p-e NOS)were analyzed.PGSDS was developed as a GXⅡproxy of ex vivo herbal crude extracts.Results:PGSDS effectively eliminates false responses caused by crude GXⅡpreparations.When doses equaled the contents in GXⅡ/its post-dose serum,FTA accounted for 98.17%of GXⅡ-added CFMD and 92.99%of PGSDS-reduced vascular tension.In ECs,FTA/PGSDS was found to have significant antioxidant(lower MDA and higher SOD,P<0.01)and endothelial function-protective(lower VEGF,ET-1,P<0.01)effects.The increases in aortic relaxation,endothelial NO levels and phosphorylated PI3K/Akt/e NOS protein induced by FTA/PGSDS were markedly abolished by NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester(L-NA,e NOS inhibitor)and wortmannin(PI3K/AKT inhibitor),respectively,indicating an endothelium-depende

Prediction of compressive strength based on visualization of pellet microstructure data

In recent years,with the wide application of image data visual extraction technology in the field of industrial engineering,the development of industrial economy has reached a new situation.To explore the interaction between the pellet microstructure and compressive strength,firstly,the pellet microstructure needed for the experiment was obtained using a Leica DM4500P microscope.The area proportions of hematite,calcium ferrite,magnetite,calcium silicate and pore in pellet microstructure were extracted by visual extraction technology of image data.Moreover,the relationship between the area proportions of mineral components and compressive strength was established by backpropagation neural network(BPNN),generalized regression neural network(GRNN)and beetle antennae search-generalized regression neural network(BAS-GRNN)algorithms,which proves that the pellet microstructure can be used as the prediction standard of compressive strength.The errors of BPNN and BAS-GRNN are 5.13%and 3.37%,respectively,both of which are less than 5.5%.Therefore,through data visualization,we are able to discuss the connection between various components of pellet microstructure and compressive strength and provide new research ideas for improving the compressive strength and metallurgical performance of pellet.

The study on the uniformity of electrical performance of large wafer-scale Hf0.5Zr0.5O2（HZO） ferroelectric capacitors is still lacking yet now. In this work, TiN/HZO/TiN metal-ferroelectric-metal（MFM） devices on 12-inch silicon wafers have been fabricated by thermal atomic layer deposition. The correlation of thickness uniformity with device-to-device variation of electrical properties and yield of the 12-inch MFM system was investigated. It was found that the uniformity of ferroelectric properties is closely related to the variation of HZO thickness of the MFM system, the concentration of oxygen vacancies in the micro-region of the HZO film, and the ferroelectric phase micro-distribution on 12-inch Si wafer. This work provides some important information for the performance optimization of HfO2-based ferroelectric random access memories.
