Microscopic characterization and formation mechanisms of deep-water sandy-debris-flow and turbidity-current sandstones in a lacustrine basin： a case study in the Yanchang Formation of the Ordos Basin, China

Deep-water deposition is a current issue in sedimentological research. Sandy-debris-flow sandstones and turbidity-current sandstones are the main types of sandstone that are the focus of considerable disputes in this research. Previous studies mainly focused on description of the macroscopic sedimentary structure and theoretical derivation of the formation mechanisms. The microscopic petrological characteristics, reservoir properties, and formation mechanisms of deep-water sandy-debris-flow and turbidity-current sandstones have been studied in the Yanchang Formation of the Ordos Basin,China, by means of field outcrop surveys, thin-section identification, geochemical element analysis, and porosity and permeability measurements under overburden pressure. The content of detrital grains in the sandy-debris-flow sandstones is high, whereas the contents of mica sheets and matrix are low. The fine-grained matrix is distributed unevenly within the pores. A considerable number of residual intergranular pores are preserved in the middle of single sand bodies, resulting in relatively better reservoir properties. The total number of detrital grains in the turbidite sandstone is low, while it contains abundant mica sheets and matrix. The mica sheets and fine-grained matrix are distributed evenly within the pores, resulting in serious damage to pores and poor reservoir properties. The sandy-debris-flow sandstones in the center of the lake basin form a high-quality reservoir; thus, this area is suitable for oil and gas exploration.

Modal parameters can accurately characterize the structural dynamic properties and assess the physical state of the ***,it is particularly signiﬁcant to identify the structural modal parameters according to the monitoring data information in the structural health monitoring(SHM)system,so as to provide a scientiﬁc basis for structural damage identiﬁcation and dynamic model modiﬁ*** view of this,this paper reviews methods for identifying structural modal parameters under environmental excitation and brieﬂy describes how to identify structural damages based on the derived modal *** paper primarily introduces data-driven modal parameter recognition methods(e.g.,time-domain,frequency-domain,and time-frequency-domain methods,etc.),brieﬂy describes damage identiﬁcation methods based on the variations of modal parameters(e.g.,natural frequency,modal shapes,and curvature modal shapes,etc.)and modal validation methods(e.g.,Stability Diagram and Modal Assurance Criterion,etc.).The current status of the application of artiﬁcial intelligence(ai)methods in the direction of modal parameter recognition and damage identiﬁcation is further *** on the pre-vious analysis,the main development trends of structural modal parameter recognition and damage identiﬁcation methods are given to provide scientiﬁc references for the optimized design and functional upgrading of SHM systems.

Effect of two-pass rolling of textured roll and polished roll on surface topography and mechanical properties of 316L stainless steel ultra-thin strip

The textured roll and polished roll were applied instead of the ground roll in a 20-high mill to conduct two-pass rolling of 316L stainless steel strip with thickness of 0.027 *** the two-pass rolling with the textured roll and polished roll(TPR),the surface roughness of the strip is dramatically reduced,and the surface topographical anisotropy index is diminished to 30.9%of the initial *** with the strip rolled using the ground roll in both passes(GGR),the elongation of TPR rolled strip is obviously improved,and the mechanical property anisotropy is greatly *** anisotropy index of tensile strength and elongation are 42.58%and 52.59%of that of GGR rolled strip,which is mainly attributed to the significant decrease of the texture intensity of the strip by TPR *** results indicate that TPR process can obtain the stainless steel ultra-thin strip with smooth and uniform surface topography and good mechanical properties.

Lipid levels and insulin resistance markers in patients with colorectal cancer:Propensity score matching analysis

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a prevalent malignant neoplasm characterized by subtle early *** To investigate the correlation among serum lipid profiles,the triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index,and the atherosclerotic index(ai)in patients with ***,it explored the clinical diagnostic utility of combining serum lipids with cancer antigens in the context of *** A retrospective analysis encompassed 277 patients with CRC and 1034 healthy *** Following propensity score matching,patients with CRC exhibited significantly reduced levels of serum triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),as well as a diminished TyG ***,they displayed elevated ai levels compared to their healthy *** in advanced stages exhibited lower serum levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C compared to those in early *** with positive lymph node metastasis demonstrated reduced levels of TG,LDL-C,and the TyG *** operating characteristic analysis revealed that the combination of the TyG index,carcinoembryonic antigen,and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 yielded the highest positive prediction rate for CRC at 75.3%.CONCLUSION Preoperative serum lipid profiles exhibit a robust association with patients with *** concurrent assessment of multiple serum lipids and cancer antigens effectively enhances the diagnostic accuracy for CRC.

BACKGROUND Pertussis is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by Bordetella *** the diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus vaccine is widely administered,there are still a number of patients with severe pertussis each year,which can lead to death,especially in infants and young *** is a factor related to the severity of pertussis and a risk factor for *** the leukocyte number by plasma exchange is a treatment method in clinical *** SUMMARY Two children with pertussis with cough as the initial symptom,developed pneumonia during the course of the *** blood cell counts were significantly increased with the highest values of 87.34×10^(9)/L and 55.46×10^(9)/*** anti-infection,plasma exchange,and ventilator treatment,both children *** Early identification of children with pertussis complicated with hyperleukocytosis and timely plasma exchange can improve the prognosis and reduce mortality.
