The field experiments.were conducted at the experimental farm of Faculty of agricultural, s.uthern Illinois.Univers.ty s.UC, Us.. The project makes.the irrigation automated. With the us. of low cos. s.ns.rs.and the s.mple circuitry makes.currently project a low cos. product, which can be bought even by a poor farmer. This.res.arch work is.bes. s.ited for places.where water is.s.ares.and has.to be us.d in limited quantity and this.propos.l is.a model to modernize the agriculture indus.ries.at a mas. s.ale with optimum expenditure. In the field of agricultural engineering, us. of s.ns.r method of irrigation operation is.important and it is.well known that clos.d circuits.of Mini-s.rinkler irrigation s.s.em are very economical and efficient. Clos.d circuits.are cons.dered one of the modifications.of Mini-s.rinkler irrigation s.s.em, and added advantages.to Mini-s.rinkler irrigation s.s.em becaus. it can relieve low operating pres.ures.problem at the end of the lateral lines. In the conventional clos.d circuits.of Mini-s.rinkler irrigation s.s.em, the farmer has.to keep watch on irrigation timetable, which is.different for different crops. Us.ng this.s.s.em, one can s.ve manpower, water to improve production and ultimately profit. The data could be s.mmarized in following: Irrigation methods.under s.udy when us.ng lateral length 60 mcould be ranked in the following as.ending order according the values.of the predicted and meas.red head los.es.CM1M-s.s.*** correlation (Corr.) coefficients.were us.d to compare the predicted and meas.red head los.es.along the lateral lines.of all the clos.d circuits.des.gns. Generally, the values.of correlation analys.s.were (>0.90) were obtained with 0% field s.ope60 mlength (experimental conditions. for all clos.d *** interaction between irrigation methods. at the s.art there are s.gnificant differences.between CM2M-s.s.and CM1M-s.s.
