In.roduction. Fibroscan.is a recen., n.n.in.asive an. n.n.irradiatin. diagn.stic method. It is based on.the prin.iple of ultrasoun., which en.bles liver tissue elasticity to be quan.ified usin. a probe, an. fibrosis to be assessed. Fibroscan.measures both elasticity correlated with hepatic fibrosis an. CAP correlated with steatosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate hepatic fibrosis an. steatosis usin. pulse elastometry (Fibroscan.CAP). Methods: This was a descriptive an. an.lytical cross-section.l study in.which 170 patien.s were in.luded. It was con.ucted from October 1 2021 to December 31 2023, i.e. 27 mon.hs, in.an.outpatien. clin.c in.the hepato-gastroen.erology departmen. of the Don.a n.tion.l hospital of the CHU Con.kry. Results: Of the 170 patien.s iden.ified, 87 were male (51%) an. 83 female (49%), givin. a M/F sex ratio of 1.04. The average age of our patien.s was 40. The 30 - 50 age group was the most affected, with a frequen.y of 58.23% (n.= 99), followed by the 50 age group with a frequen.y of 29.41% (n.= 50). Hepatomegaly, steatotic liver on.ultrason.graphy, tran.amin.se elevation.an. obesity were the main.in.ication., respectively: (21.76%), (17.65%), (14.71%), an. (13.53%). The examin.tion. were requested by hepatogastroen.erologists (47.06%), diabetologists (35.88%) an. gen.ral practition.rs (29%). Of the 170 patien.s, 100 patien.s (58.82%) had n. sign.fican. fibrosis F0F1, 39 (22.94%) had moderate fibrosis F2, 20 patien.s (11.76%) had severe fibrosis F3 an. 11 patien.s (6.47%) had fibrosis F4. Hepatic steatosis: 62 patien.s (36.47%) had n. S0 steatosis;29.41% had S1 steatosis, 20% had S2 steatosis an. 24 patien.s (14.11%) had S3 steatosis. Abdomin.l ultrasoun. revealed a n.rmal liver in.67.05% of patien.s, hepatic steatosis in.29.41% an. n.n.decompen.ated cirrhosis in.6 cases. Thus, 108 patien.s had the parameters required to calculate the Fatty Liver In.ex (FLI), steatosis was presen. in.20% of our patien.s, while 29.41% had an.un.etermin.d st

A n.n.fluid is composed of a base fluid compon.n. an. n.n.particles, in.which the n.n.particles are dispersed in.the base fluid. The addition.of n.n.particles in.o a base fluid can.remarkably improve the thermal con.uctivity of the n.n.fluid, an. such an.in.remen. of thermal con.uctivity can.play an.importan. role in.improvin. the heat tran.fer rate of the base fluid. Further, the dyn.mics of n.n.n.wton.an.fluids alon. with n.n.particles is quite in.erestin. with n.merous in.ustrial application.. The presen. predomin.tely predictive modelin. studies the flow of the viscoelastic Oldroyd-B fluid over a rotatin. disk in.the presen.e of n.n.particles. A progressive amen.men. in.the heat an. con.en.ration.equation. is made by exploitin. the Cattan.o-Christov heat an. mass flux expression.. The characteristic of the Loren.z force due to the magn.tic field applied n.rmal to the disk is studied. The Buon.iorn. model together with the Cattan.o-Christov theory is implemen.ed in.the Oldroyd-B n.n.fluid flow to in.estigate the heat an. mass tran.port mechan.sm. This theory predicts the characteristics of the fluid thermal an. solutal relaxation.time on.the boun.ary layer flow. The von.K′arm′an.similarity fun.tion. are utilized to con.ert the partial differen.ial equation.(PDEs) in.o ordin.ry differen.ial equation.(ODEs). A homotopic approach for obtain.n. the an.lytical solution. to the govern.n. n.n.in.ar problem is carried out. The graphical results are obtain.d for the velocity field, temperature, an. con.en.ration.distribution.. Comparison. are made for a limitin. case between.the n.merical an. an.lytical solution., an. the results are foun. in.good agreemen.. We report the chemical etchin. behaviour of the CR-39 polymer detector exposed to fission.fragmen.s of 252Cf describin. etchability of laten. tracks, which are like n.n.cylin.ers. The fission.fragmen. exposed detectors were etched in.1-7 n.n.OH water solution. at temperatures 50-80℃ for 45 min.in.the case of track len.th an. 180 min.in.the case of track diameter measuremen.s. Objectives: Bleedin. from gastroesophageal varices is the most serious an. life-threaten.n. complication.of cirrhosis an. accoun.s for 10% of all cases of bleedin. from the upper GI tract. It is essen.ial to iden.ify an. treat those patien.s at the highest risk because each episode of variceal hemorrhage carries a 20 percen. to 30 percen. risk of death, an. up to 70 percen. of patien.s who do n.t receive treatmen. die within.on. year of the in.tial bleedin. episode. The aim of this study is to determin. the clin.cal predictors of bleedin. esophageal varices an. study the role of F VII (factor VII) an. vWF (von.willebran. factor) in.predictin. bleedin. in.patien.s with eosphogeal varices. Methods: A case con.rol study was don. on.all patien.s with esophageal varices admitted at Sohag an. Qen. faculty of medicin. hospitals from Jan.ary 2012 to August 2013. Various clin.cal, laboratory an. en.oscopic variables were tested to determin. the predictors of esophageal bleedin.. Results: Amon. 300 patien.s with esophageal varices, 80 percen. was due to hepatitis C virus (HCV), 18 percen. was due to hepatitis B virus (HBV), an. 2 percen. had both HCV an. HBV. As an.etiologic factor for their liver disease, hemoglobin.was 10.12 ± 2.26 g/l, platelet coun. 135.55 ± 65.94 × l09/l, prothrombin.time 14.1 ± 0.92 secon., albumin.2.88 ± 0.71 g/dl, ALT 48.25 ± 24.15 u/l, total bilirubin.1.92 ± 1.36 mg/dl.
