Ever since the severe acute respiratory syndrome virus causing coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)struck the world,global health strategies have changed *** to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,kidney transplant recipients are stratified as being high risk of developing fatal illness from COVID-19 *** transplant is the gold-standard treatment for end-stage kidney disease *** the pandemic,significant concerns have emerged regarding continuation of kidney transplant surgeries and management of kidney transplant recipients *** added risk of immunosuppression in this cohort was and remains a theoretical concern,posing a potential risk of transplantation rather than *** comprehensive review aims to cover most of the faced challenges in kidney transplantation in different stages of the *** addition,it will elucidate the epidemiology,nature,course of the disease,surgical consideration in donors and recipients as well as role of immunosuppression and management of COVID-19 infected kidney transplant recipients during these extraordinary circumstances.

The aim of this study was to examine the use of bleaching creams containing hydroquinone, corticosteroids and mercury for skin lightening among higher secondary school students in central Sudan. A cross-sectional epidemiological study was conducted at 19 different girls’ schools. A total of 1187 young students aged 16 - 19 years old were randomly selected and approached, using a well-structured questionnaire. The main outcome measure was a number of epidemiological factors per abusers. Results revealed that, 55.4% of the respondents misused this product, whilst 51.6% of girls used cosmetics to lighten their skin for 1 - 3 years with skin irritations prevalence of 3.3%, and the face was reported as main application site (35.4%). In conclusion, the lack of health awareness and ignorance was the main causative factor, whilst education, competent authorities awareness and prescriptions restrictions were highly recommended.

Handwritten signature recognition is presented based on an angle feature vector by using the artificial neural network （ANN） in this research. Each signature image will be represented by an angle vector. The feature vector will constitute the input to the ANN. The collection of signature images is divided into two sets. One set will be used for training the ANN in a supervised fashion. The other set which is never seen by the ANN will be used for testing. After training, the ANN will be tested by recognizing the signatures. When a signature is classified correctly, it is considered correct recognition, otherwise it is a failure. The achieved recognition rate of this system is 94%.

Purpose: To evaluate Charcot neuroarthropathy in diabetic foot patients at tertiary hospital. Methods and Material: It is a retrospective study from 2005 to 2015 of Charcot foot patients in diabetic patients admitted in King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sixty-four patients were admitted as diabetic foot disease and were studied by reviewing patients records of demography, pain, discharge, duration of disease, duration and types of diabetes IDDM [Insulin Dependant Diabetes Mellitus] NIDDM [Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus], history of trauma, peripheral vascular disease, obesity, hypertension, co-morbid conditions, previous surgery, involvement of fore foot/midfoot/hindfoot, deformity, ulcer and treatment like casts, offloading devices, pharmacological like biphosphonates, debridement, osteotomy, arthrodesis, exostectomy, and amputation. Results: Majority of patients were males (81.2%). Mean age was 61.75 years. Pain was reported in 25% of patients, numbness in 12.5%, foot deformity in 23.4%, pus discharge in 73.4%, difficulty in walking in 12.5%, and 10.9% had history of trauma. Majority of patients were NIDDM 68.8%, IDDM 31.3%, (62.5% had DM more than 10 years and 36.9% had DM less than 10 years), controlled DM in 21.9% and uncontrolled DM in 73.4%, nephropathy in 46.3%, neuropathy in 59.4%, retinopathy in 40.6%, cardiomyopathy in 48.4% and vasculopathy in 56.3%. Charcot arthropathy was in 28.1% of cases and forefoot was involved in 65.5%, midfoot in 4.7% and hindfoot/ankle in 21.9%. It was forefoot which was mainly involved in Charcot joint disease. It was demonstrated by X-rays which showed subluxation in 40.6%, dislocation in 54.7%, disorganized foot joints in 42.2%, bone resorption in 23.4%, osteomyelitis in 14.1%, fractures in 50%, joint collapse in 39.1% and destruction of articular surfaces in 37.5%. Bangladesh composes the most polluted air with Dhaka securing the top position. The purpose of the study is the enumeration of the prevalence of pathogenic bacteria in Dhaka city’s air and their antibiotic susceptibility to the common antibiotics. For the sample collection, different selective media was exposed in air where the highest and lowest CFU was 137 and 1 respectively. Pathogens were screened through Hemolysis, DNase and Coagulase test and identified by 16s rRNA sequencing followed by antibiotic susceptibility test. 16s rRNA sequencing revealed that the organisms were Bacillus altitudinis strain 41KF2bT.28, Bacillus licheniformis strain QMA46-2, Bacillus altitudinis, Bacillus pumilis strain BJ-DEBCR-34, Staphylococcus aureus strain TPS3156, Bacillus sp CO16, Pseudomonas sp strain 96LC22 and Shigella dysenteriae strain ATCC 13313. Shigella dysenteriae, Staphylococcus aureus were 81.81% and 54.54% resistant to the antibiotics. Whole-genome sequencing would help to observe mutations in the traits as changes in hemolytic activity were found during pathogenecity tests.

Yield Stability and Adaptability of elite Doubled Haploid (DH) Rice Genotypes in Different Locations in Central Clay Plains of the Sudan

Stability analysis of grain yield is an efficient tool for the selection of varieties adapted to fairly wide cultivation zone. A study aims to determine adaptability and stability for grain yield and agronomic performance of 10 elite Doubled Haploid (DH) rice genotypes generated through another culture technique, along with local cultivar Umgar as a check under irrigated lowland conditions in three different environments in the central clay plains of the Sudan;during two cropping seasons 2019 and 2020. The trials were conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Grain yield stability was studied, using the Additive Main effect and Multiplicative Interaction (AMMI) model. Bi-plots were developed following GGE bi-plot methodology over the six environments. The combined analysis of variance revealed significant to highly significant (P ely. A biplot-AMMI analysis and yield stability index incorporating the AMMI stability value and yield in a single non-parametric index were used to identify the genotypes with the highest and stable yield. The overall mean for grain yield was 5.69 t/ha, with a range of 5.77 to 4.12 t/ha. The genotypes k150147, k150870, k150032, k150912, and k150307 out yielded the local check Umgar by 40%, 38%, 34%, 34% and 33% respectively. The most genotypes were mid-early maturities which were harvested at 107, 113, 108, 109 and 112 days after sowing, respectively. These five genotypes also showed grain yield stability along with their high mean yield performance according to the AMMI analysis and widely adaptable to the tested locations.
