Background: Von Willebrand Factor (VWF) is a large multimeric plasma gly-coprotein that plays an important role in primary haemostasis. VWF together with ADAMTS13 plays a key role in arterial thrombosis. VWF is integral for platelet adhesion to collagen fibres and atherosclerotic plaues and platelets aggregation under high shear conditions. Upon vascular wall damage, plasma VWF binds to collagen in the exposed endothelial matrix and platelet glycoprotein triggers platelet aggregation and thrombous formation. In the early stages of acute ischaemic stroke, VWF increased significantly and the ADAMTS13 level decreased. The increase of plasma VWF and FVIII in a patient with ischaemic stroke indicated an increased risk of complications and severe neurological deficit. Objective: to evaluate the validity of VWF and ADFAMTS13 as diagnostic markers of cerebral infarction by comparing the two markers’ validity in diagnosis. Methods: this case control study enrolled 38 cerebral infarction patients 20 acute infarction and 18 recurrent infarction. Patients were compared with 65 age and sex with control patients. We performed the VWF assay using the minividas immunofluorescence technique and the ADAMTS13 assay using the ELISA technique. Results: VWF level of acute infarction patients (280.97 ± 109.83 IU/dl) while its level in recurrent infarction (264.93 ± 172.8 IU/dl) were highly significantly increased compared to control (75.8 ± 16.24 IU/dl). ADAMTS13 level of acute infarction patients was (506.11 ± 225.24 ng/dl) and (1386.03 ± 667.64 ng/dl) in recurrent infarction patients with highly significant differences between the acute and control group and non-significant different between recurrent and control. ADAMTS13 is an excellent diagnostic test in acute cerebral infarction but a weak diagnostic test in recurrent cerebral infarction but it is a good diagnostic test in differentiation between acute and recurrent cerebral infarction patients. 可再生能源占未来五年世界电力容量净增加量的近三分之二,使其成为满足当前和未来能源需求和促进低碳未来的重要战略组成部分。发电短缺严重影响着发展中国家;发电系统将不能向消费者输送所需的能量。因此,为了解决这个问题,消费者每天的电力供应被切断了三到六个小时。通过发现依赖可再生能源的替代发电方法,由于能源需求持续增加,并且由于环境污染而难以增加能源供应,因此对燃料电池以及储能系统(ESS)等能源有着强烈的需求。这种方法在当今时代形成了一场革命,其最重要的方面是用不同方式生产的清洁氢气发电。此外,国家电网以外的地区可以提供质子交换膜氢燃料电池和太阳能光伏电池混合系统。因此,在本研究中,该基于质子交换膜氢燃料电池和太阳能光伏电池的最大功率点跟踪(MPPT)控制器策略是为燃料电池设计的,用于太阳能光伏,以提取不同质子交换膜燃料电池温度和太阳照照水平下的最大功率,将使用MATLAB程序进行设计、建模和分析。对相关结果进行了提取和讨论,并提出了建议。

随着城市人口的增加,气候变化已成为全球共同关注的问题。人类引起的大气成分变化是全球气候变化的主要原因。在地方和区域层面,城市化和土地利用的变化也发挥着重要作用。然而,与能源使用相关的排放占这些干扰的大部分。2017年美国气候科学报告指出,如果年排放量继续像2000年以来那样快速上升,模型预测到本世纪末,全球平均气温将至少上升5华氏度,甚至可能上升10.2度。根据模型预测,即使到2050年年排放量逐渐上升并开始急剧下降,气温仍将比20世纪上半叶至少高出2.4度,甚至可能高出5.9度。巴格达被认为是世界上最热的城市之一,伊拉克巴格达市的特点是亚热带沙漠气候,天气炎热,夏季炎热而漫长,一年长达七个月。巴格达的每日最高温度通常接近50°C。炎热的气候使人们通过人工降温系统来调节建筑物的室内温度,不仅增加了能源消耗,而且将热能传递到建筑物周围,导致室外环境变差,室外温度升高导致城市热岛现象的出现。此外,许多研究表明,中东炎热干燥城市(如巴格达)的大部分城市形态风格都是基于当代规划技术创建的。在不考虑炎热干燥地区恶劣的当地条件的情况下,这些传统是从普遍存在温带和凉爽气候的西方环境中继承下来的。本论文的研究对象是巴格达的城市环境和住宅建筑。该研究方法依靠描述性和分析性的方法来实现其目标并达到预期目标,首先,通过研究和分析来阐明巴格达的气候特征和城市气候的影响。其次,调查城市住区外部环境、室外空间的规划要素及其遇到的问题,如朝向、开洞、植被覆盖、绿化、保温材料的使用、个体的设计特点等、建筑,以及居住区生活质量的自我评估。最后,提出了能够降低热气候负面影响的改善设计策略,并提出适合该区域的技术措施,为城市居住区规划设计和建筑设计提供参考。

BACKGROUND Among the most frequent hip fractures are trochanteric fractures,which usually occur from low-energy trauma like minor falls,especially in older people with osteoporotic *** To evaluate the treatment efficacy of dynamic condylar screws(DCS)and proximal femoral nails(PFN)for unstable intertrochanteric *** To find pertinent randomized controlled trials and retrospective observational studies comparing PFN with DCS for the management of unstable femoral intertrochanteric fractures,a thorough search was carried *** research studies published between January 1996 and April 2024,PubMed,EMBASE,Scopus,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,and Google Scholar were all *** complete texts of the papers were retrieved,vetted,and independently examined by two *** were settled by consensus,and any disagreements that persisted were arbitrated by a third *** This study included six articles,comprising a total of 173 *** to the DCS,the PFN had a shorter operation time[mean difference(MD):-41.7 min,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-63.04 to-20.35,P=0.0001],higher success rates with closed reduction techniques[risk ratio(RR):34.05,95%CI:11.12-104.31,P<0.00001],and required less intraoperative blood transfusion(MD:-1.4 units,95%CI:-1.80 to-1.00,P<0.00001).Additionally,the PFN showed shorter fracture union time(MD:-6.92 wk,95%CI:-10.27 to-3.57,P<0.0001)and a lower incidence of reoperation(RR:0.37,95%CI:0.17-0.82,P=0.01).However,there was no discernible variation regarding hospital stay,implant-related complications,and *** Compared to DCS,PFN offers shorter operative times,reduces the blood transfusions requirements,achieves higher closed reduction success,enables faster fracture healing,and lowers reoperation incidence.

AIM: To evaluate the association between CYPIA1 and GSTs genetic polymorphisms and susceptibility to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and esophageal adenocarcinorna (ADC) in a high risk area of northwest of ***: A case-control study was conducted to investigate the genetic polymorphisms of these enzymes (CYPIAI*2C and GSTP1 exon 7 Val alleles, GSTM1 *2/*2 and GSl-l-l*2/*2 null genotypes). A total of 79 esophagealcancer cases and 130 controls were recruited. RESULTS: GSTM2*2/*2 and CYP1A1*1A/*2C genotype frequencies were higher among squamous cell cardnomas at a level close to statistical significance (OR = 1.83, 95% CI0.88-3.83, P= 0.11; OR = 3.03, 95% CI 0.93-9.90, P= 0.07,respectively). For GSTP1 polymorphism, no difference wasfound between controls and cases, whatever their histological status. Lower frequency of GST/-1 deletion was observed in ADC group compared to controls with a statistically significant difference (OR=13.31, 95% CI 1.66-106.92, P<0.01).CONCLUSION: In SCC, our results are consistent with the strong association of this kind of turnout with tobacco exposure. In ADC, our results suggest 3 distinct hypotheses:(1) activation of exogenous procarcinogens, such as small halogenated compounds by GSTTI', (2) contribution of GSTT1 to the inflammatory response of esophageal mucosa, which is known to be a strong risk factor for ADC,possibly through leukotriene synthesis; (3) higher sensitivity to the inflammatory process associated with intracellular depletion of glutathione.

The excitation mechanism of coronal quasi-period fast-propagating(QFP)wave trains remains *** Atmospheric Imaging Assembly onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory observations,we study a narrow and a broad QFP wave trains excited one after another during the successive eruptions of filaments hosted within a fan-spine magnetic system on October 20,*** consecutive occurrence of these two types of QFP wave trains in the same event provides an excellent opportunity to explore their excitation mechanisms and compare their physical *** observational results reveal that narrow and broad QFP wave trains exhibit distinct speeds,periods,energy fluxes,and relative intensity amplitudes,although originating from the same active region and being associated with the same GOES C2.9 *** wavelet analysis,we find that the narrow QFP wave train shares a similar period with the flare itself,suggesting its possible excitation through the pulsed energy release in the magnetic reconnection process that generated the accompanying *** the other hand,the broad QFP wave train appears to be associated with the energy pulses released by the successive expansion and unwinding of filament ***,it is plausible that the broad QFP wave train was also excited by the sequential stretching of closed magnetic field lines driven by the erupting *** findings shed light on the different excitation mechanisms and origins of the QFP wave trains.
