It ap- peared that s.able cerium ions.were ins.rted into the s.lica framework of KIT-6, thus.generating acid properties.in their hos. materials. The catalytic activity of Ce-KIT-6 materials.was.evaluated in the vapor phas. dehydration of cyclohexanol to cyclohexene and dicy- clohexyl ether at different temperatures.with various.s./Ce molar ratios. Dodecyl alcohol(DDA) is.a promis.ng s.lid-liquid phas. change material(PCM) due to its.favorable latent heat s.orage(LHs. ***,the leakage is.ue of PCM in a melted s.ate during the heating period and low thermal conductivity res.ricts.its.utilization potential in thermal energy s.orage(TEs. *** the s.me context,the pres.nt work aims.to overcome the leakage is.ue and improve the thermal conductivity of the *** this.in mind,a novel leak-proof layered double hydroxide(LDH)/DDA compos.te PCM is.propos.d through a s.lution-bas.d impregnation *** leak-proof impregnation ratio of the DDA impregnated within the cavities.of the s.nthes.zed al/Fe-LDH was.determined to be 60%.Detailed morphological,phys.cochemical,and thermal properties.of the fabricated compos.te were s.udied by s.anning electron micros.opy(s.M),Fourier trans.orms.infrared(FTIR) s.ectros.opy,X-ray diffraction(XRD)s.ectros.opy,differential s.anning calorimetry(Ds.),thermalgravimetric analys.s.TGA),and thermal cycling *** res.lts.s.ow that the LDH/DDA compos.te has.a s.itable phas. change temperature(about 20℃) for pas.ive s.lar thermal management of building *** compos.te PCM s.owed high LHs.enthalpy(about136 J/g),good thermal s.ability,and cycling LHs.*** als. s.owed nearly 152% higher thermal conductivity compared to that of pure DDA,ultimately reducing the melting and s.lidification time of the pure DDA by 44.9% and 45.5%,res.ectively.
