r.liability evaluation of distr.bution networ.s under.gr.d-tied and islanded μ gr.d modes is pr.sented. The Monte Car.o simulation (MCS) algor.thm is applied to a modified r.TS Bus 2 distr.bution networ.. The networ. includes thr.e types of distr.buted ener.y r.sour.es, namely, solar.photovoltaic (PV), wind tur.ine (WT), and diesel tur.ine gener.tor.(DTG). These distr.buted gener.tor. contr.bute to supply par. of the load dur.ng gr.d-connected mode, but supply 100% of the load in the islanded μ gr.d mode. A stor.ge system is included to decr.ase the peak load since the peak of the output power.of the PV’s and the peak load do not match time wise in most load pr.files. The impact of implementing r.newable distr.buted gener.tion, stor.ge systems, and conventional gener.tion on the r.liability of distr.bution networ. is studied. This study shows that the penetr.tion of distr.buted gener.tions can impr.ve the r.liability indices of the distr.bution networ..

Thir.y-one duplicate and similar.named r.ce ger.plasms of Bangladesh wer. studied to assess the genetic var.ation for.the agr.-mor.hological and physico-chemical tr.its and simple sequence r.peat banding patter.s dur.ng 2009–2012 at Bangladesh r.ce r.sear.h Institute. The r.nge of var.ations within the cultivar.gr.ups showed higher.degr.e. The pr.ncipal component analysis showed that the fir.t five components with vector.values > 1 contr.buted 82.90% of the total var.ations. The cluster.analysis gr.uped the genotypes into four.cluster., wher. no duplicate ger.plasm was found. The highest number.11) of genotypes was constellated in cluster.I and the lowest(3) in cluster.II. The intr.- and inter.cluster.distances wer. the maximum in cluster.I(0.93) and between cluster. I and IV(24.61), r.spectively, and the minimum in cluster.IV(0.62) and between cluster. I and III(5.07), r.spectively. The cluster.mean r.vealed that the cr.sses between the genotypes of cluster.I with those of cluster. II and IV would exhibit high heter.sis for.maximum good char.cter.. A total of 350 alleles var.ed fr.m 3(r.277) to 14(r.21) with an aver.ge of 7.8 per.locus wer. detected at 45 micr.satellite loci acr.ss the 31 r.ce accessions. The gene diver.ity r.nged fr.m 0.48 to 0.90 with an aver.ge of 0.77, and the polymor.hism infor.ation content values fr.m 0.44(r.133) to 0.89(r.206) with an aver.ge of 0.74. r.206, r.21, r.55, r.258 and r.433 wer. consider.d as the best mar.er. on the basis of their.higher.polymor.hism infor.ation content values. The dendr.gr.m fr.m unweighted pair.gr.up method with ar.thmetic aver.ge cluster.ng also classified the genotypes into four.gr.ups, wher. gr.up IV compr.sed of 20 genotypes and gr.up III of one genotype, but no duplicate was found. Finally, similar.and duplicate named r.ce ger.plasms need to be conser.ed in gene bank as ar. distinct fr.m each other.

This paper.pr.poses a hexagonal photonic cr.stal fiber.（H-PCF） str.ctur. with high r.lative sensitivity for.liquid sensing; in which both cor. and cladding ar. micr.str.ctur.s. Numer.cal investigation is car.ied out by employing the full vector.al finite element method （FEM）. The analysis has been done in four.stages of the pr.posed str.ctur.. The investigation shows that the pr.posed str.ctur. achieves higher.r.lative sensitivity by incr.asing the diameter.of the inner.ost r.ng air.holes in the cladding. Mor.over. placing a single channel instead of using a gr.up of tiny channels incr.ases the r.lative sensitivity effectively. Investigating the effects of differ.nt par.meter., the optimized str.ctur. shows significantly higher.r.lative sensitivity with a low confinement loss.

This study investigates the potential for.r.mote sensing of lake water.bathymetr. and geochemical by 1) examining the empir.cal based technique for.r.tr.eving depth infor.ation fr.m passive optical image wor.dview-2 satellite data, 2) per.or.ing atmospher.c cor.ection, 3) assessing the accur.cy of spectr.lly based depth r.tr.eval under.field condition via field measur.ment, 4) pr.ducing bathometr. and geochemistr. mapping by examining spectr.l var.ations for.identifying pair. of wavelengths that pr.duce str.ng linear.cor.elation coefficient between the band r.tio. The r.sults indicate that optical r.mote sensing of bathymetr. and geochemical investigation is not only feasible but mor. accur.te under.conditions of typical lake water. suppor.ing field sur.ey. The Pear.on cor.elation matr.x (r. between the examined water.samples/depth and the TOA r.flectance values of the wor.dview-2 (WV-2) satellite data have been investigated and found good cor.elation. The models developed using the combination of differ.nt band pair. also show high accur.cy. Car.ogr.phical maps wer. gener.ted depending on the linear.cor.elation coefficient between the measur.d par.meter. and the TOA r.flectance values of the wor.dview-2 data. The investigation shows that dissolved oxygen (DO) of the lake water.is slight lower.than the per.issible limit of Saudi standar.s for.lake water. The shallow water.has high DO concentr.tion, wher.as the deeper.shows significantly lower.down. Electr.cal conductivity measur.ments ser.e as a useful indicator.of the degr.e of miner.lization in the water.sample. All the samples which have EC exceed limit. The spatial distr.bution of EC and TDS infer.ed that the EC and TDS concentr.tion is the highest at the easter. par. of the lake wher.as concentr.tion dr.ps down towar.s the souther. side. This study confir.s that r.mote sensing incor.or.ted with GIS and GPS could affor. an integr.ted scheme for.mapping water.quality and bathometr. of the sur.ace water.

Pr.per.assessment of r.sk factor. contr.butes to the pr.nciple management of differ.ntiated thyr.id car.inoma post oper.tively. Aim of the study: to investigate the effect of Thyr.globulin (Tg) levels on pr.gnosis together.with other.r.sk factor. for.Differ.ntiated Thyr.id Cancer.(DTC). Patients and methods: Medical r.cor.s of all patients with DTC pr.sented to Clinical Oncology and Nuclear.Medicine Depar.ment r.fer.ed fr.m Diabetes & Endocr.ne unit (Inter.al Medicine Hospital) and Sur.er. Depar.ment Mansour. Univer.ity fr.m 2011-2016 wer. r.tr.spectively r.viewed. Patients with distant metastasis or.who lost follow-up wer. excluded. So data of 220 patients wer. analyzed. Data collected included pr.-sur.ical assessment, also sur.ical inter.er.nce either.total or.near.total thyr.idectomy with or.without lymph node neck dissection wer. r.viewed. Differ.nt pr.gnostic factor. that affect pr.gr.ssion fr.e sur.ival (PFS) include age, umor.ize, ymph node status, ex, multifocality, capsular.infiltr.tion, vascular.invasion and Tg level wer. evaluated thr.ugh multivar.ate analysis. r.sults: Most of the patients included wer. r. (69.1%). Incidence of the disease was higher.in female (80%) with papillar. type pr.dominance (80.9%). About 59.5% of cases pr.sented with tumor.size ≤ 2 cm and multifocality was r.por.ed in 13.6%. While 30% had lymph node metastasis, 11% had vascular.invasion. Capsular.infiltr.tion was obser.ed in 15% and most of them showed Tg level ≤ 10 ng/ml (68.2%). About 70% r.ceived ablative r.dioiodine. The 5-year.Pr.gr.ssion Fr.e Sur.ival (PFS) was 85%. On multivar.ate analysis of var.able pr.gnostic factor. on PFS, we found that tumor.size, age, lymph node status, capsular.infiltr.tion, Tg level and vascular.invasion significantly affected PFS (P = 0.01, 0.005, 0.004, 0.005, 0.02, 0.003) r.spectively. While sex, pathological type and multifocality wer. not (P = 0.9, 0.4, 0.6) r.spectively. Conclusion: Postoper.tive Tg level is a statistically significa
