To meet the rapidly increasing demand for energy and the dramatic depletion of conventional crude oil,it is imperative to utilize sour *** no coke being produced,oxidative desulfurization(ODS)of naphtha lowers its sulfur content and average molecular *** this article,we outline a method for heavy naphtha non-extractive ODS using a very stable *** technique involves the use of a solid catalyst with oxygen gas as the *** necessitated relatively high mixing intensities;hence a three-phase Oscillatory Baffled Reactor(OBR)was *** catalyst was based on the zeolite ZSm-5,prepared from natural kaolin by a series of delamination and activation steps and impregnated with Fe.A TiO2 nanolayer was applied,using the sol-gel method,to prevent rapid *** reactor performance was evaluated to minimize the sulfur content in the naphtha *** to the protective coating,the sulfur conversion stabilized at 90%.The results of this work establish the use of natural clay-based catalysts in a continuous,three-phase ODS,particularly with regard to proving long-term *** also showed that modest ODS can be achieved using an environmentally friendly oxidant,at mild operating conditions,whilst maintaining stability.

Background: Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) is considered a safer alternative to on-pump surgery, especially in patients with left ventricular dysfunction (LVD). Objectives: This study assessed short-term outcomes and functional improvements in LVD patients post-OPCAB. methods: The study included 200 coronary artery disease patients who underwent isolated off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) at the National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute between January 2019 and June 2020. Patients were categorized into Group 1, with a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of 30% - 39%, and Group 2, with an LVEF of 40% or higher. Echocardiographic assessments of left ventricular dimensions and ejection fraction were performed preoperatively, at discharge, and one month postoperatively. Results: In Group 1, preoperative left ventricular internal dimensions during diastole (LVIDd) and systole (LVIDs) were 53.48 ± 4.40 mm and 44.23 ± 3.93 mm, respectively, with a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of 35.28% ± 2.26%. At discharge, these values improved to 51.58 ± 4.04 mm (LVIDd), 41.23 ± 5.30 mm (LVIDs), and 39.25% ± 3.75% (LVEF). One month postoperatively, further improvements were observed: 46.29 ± 3.76 mm (LVIDd), 37.45 ± 3.68 mm (LVIDs), and 43.22% ± 4.67% (LVEF). Group 2 showed similar positive outcomes, with preoperative values of 47.09 ± 5.06 mm (LVIDd), 35.11 ± 5.25 mm (LVIDs), and 50.13% ± 7.25% (LVEF), improving to 42.37 ± 4.18 mm (LVIDd), 31.05 ± 4.19 mm (LVIDs), and 55.33% ± 7.05% (LVEF) at one month postoperatively. Both groups demonstrated significant improvements in left ventricular function and NYHA class, with most patients moving from class III/IV to I/II. Complications were minimal, and no mortality was observed. Conclusion: OPCAB is safe and effective for patients with LVEF 30% - 39% and LVEF ≥ 40%, providing significant short-term functional improvements without increased risk.

Classification of gene expression data is a pivotal research area that plays a substantial role in diagnosis and prediction of diseases. Generally, feature selection is one of the extensively used techniques in data mining approaches, especially in classification. Gene expression data are usually composed of dozens of samples characterized by thousands of genes. This increases the dimensionality coupled with the existence of irrelevant and redundant features. Accordingly, the selection of informative genes (features) becomes difficult, which badly affects the gene classification accuracy. In this paper, we consider the feature selection for classifying gene expression microarray datasets. The goal is to detect the most possibly cancer-related genes in a distributed manner, which helps in effectively classifying the samples. Initially, the available huge amount of considered features are subdivided and distributed among several processors. Then, a new filter selection method based on a fuzzy inference system is applied to each subset of the dataset. Finally, all the resulted features are ranked, then a wrapper-based selection method is applied. Experimental results showed that our proposed feature selection technique performs better than other techniques since it produces lower time latency and improves classification performance.

Ammonium perchlorate(AP)includes oxidizing and reducing elements on the same *** can act as an efficient oxidizer and mono-propellant as *** this study,AP experienced crystallographic phase change from orthorhombic centrosymmetric to non-centrosymmetric under controlled isothermal heat *** diffractograms confirmed this crystallographic phase *** thermal behaviour of activated AP had been investigated using *** AP demonstrated high chemical stability with an increase in endothermic phase transition enthalpy by 170%.The enthalpy of the subsequent two main exothermic decomposition reactions was increased by 250%.Whereas AP demonstrated total decomposition enthalpy of 733 J/g,activated AP showed 2614 J/*** AP can secure self-sustained response at a high *** index(combustion enthalpy/ignition temperature)was employed to assess self-sustained reaction *** AP demonstrated high propagation index of 8.7 compared with 2.5 for un-activated *** decomposition kinetic parameters had investigated using Kissinger and KAS *** AP showed an increase in activation energy by 89%using the Kissinger method;kinetic parameters using the KAS method were in good agreement with the Kissinger *** can have concluded that AP with novel kinetic decomposition parameters for enhanced safety storage and high combustion characteristics has evolved.

This study aimed to assess the effect of hesperetin and/or bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(Bm-mSCs)on disturbed lipid profile,heart and kidney functions,oxidative stress and antioxidant defense system in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic *** 1 diabetes mellitus(T1Dm)was induced in male Wistar rats by injecting 40 mg/kg body weight(b.w.)STZ dissolved in citrate buffer(pH 4.5).The diabetic rats were treated with hesperetin orally administered at dose 20 mg/kg b.w.,Bm-mSCs intravenously injected at a dose of 1 x 106 cells/rat/week and their combination for 6 *** diabetic rats exhibited lipid abnormalities manifested by elevated serum levels of total cholesterol,triglycerides,LDL-cholesterol and VLDL-cholesterol and lowered HDL-cholesterol as well as elevated liver cholesterol and triglycerides content in association with the resultant fasting and postprandial hyperglycemia and insulin *** heart function biomarkers including CK-mB,AST and LDH activities as well as levels of kidney function parameters,creatinine,and urea,were significantly raised in the serum of diabetic *** changes were concomitant with abnormal redox balance represented by elevated lipid peroxidation,decreased glutathione content,and suppressed antioxidant enzyme activities in both heart and kidney of diabetic *** previous deleterious alterations were significantly ameliorated after the treatment of diabetic rats with hesperetin and Bm-mSCs singly or in combination;the treatment with hesperetin together with Bm-mSCs was the most *** on these findings,it can be concluded that the use of hesperetin with Bm-mSCs may have more additive therapeutic value than their uses singly in *** addition,the ameliorative effects of hesperetin and Bm-mSCs on lipid profile and heart and kidney functions in diabetic rats may be mediated,at least in part,via their suppressive effects on oxidative stress and ameliorative effects on the antioxidant defense system

AIm:To explore levels and determinants of awareness and knowledge about glaucoma among ***:This was a cross-sectional study that included adult patients from October to the end of December 2018.A semi-structured questionnaire was designed by the researchers to measure the levels of awareness and knowledge about 18 basic information about *** sheet was divided into 4 domains:types of glaucoma,risk factors,clinical features,and management.A knowledge score(KS,range=0-18)was calculated,with higher scores indicating higher ***:A total of 383 patients responded to the questionnaire,61.9%males,mean±SD age was 38.5±12.94 years old,and 61.6%had a university degree or *** them,6.3%and 23.2%reported personal and family history of glaucoma,*** most frequently reported source of information about glaucoma was another person with glaucoma(28.2%),followed by physicians(24.8%)and TV(19.6%).Knowledge by item ranged from 3.1%to 82.5%correctness rate,while KS showed mean=5.91 and median=5;and reliability testing of the knowledge scale showed Cronbach’s alpha=*** KS were found among respondents with higher educational level(P=0.036),diabetes history(P=0.025),and personal(Pmily(Pma among the attendees of a local eye care hospital,where several misconceptions about disease risk factors,clinical features,and management are identified.

Protection of frying oil from deterioration by adding plant phenolic extracts to guarantee the quality of fried foods becomes the primary approach to promote the sustainable development of deep ***,sources,antioxidant effects,and mechanisms of plant phenolic extracts recently applied in the quality protection of frying oil as well as challenges for the actual use of these extracts are comprehensively reviewed in this ***,herbs,berries,tea leaves,and fruit and vegetable wastes are common sources for preparing phenolic extracts showing comparative antioxidant capacity referring to the synthetic *** general effect of using these natural antioxidants is the improvement of thermal stability to extend the shelf life of frying oil and thus the modification of edible quality of fried ***,the increases in common quality attributes and amount of hazardous products and the oxidative reduction of unsaturated triacylglycerols without negatively influencing the sensory quality are inhibited when suitable plant extracts are *** incorporation of plant phenolic extracts other than synthetic counterparts in frying oil has been demonstrated as a potential method to improve the frying performance of ***,challenges for the scale application of plant phenolic extracts,such as the purity,thermal stability,and antioxidant timing,are still needed to be further investigated.

Geologists interpret seismic data to understand subsurface properties and subsequently to locate underground hydrocarbon *** are among the most important geological features interpreters analyze to locate petroleum ***,manual channel picking is both time consuming and ***,similar to any other process dependent on human intervention,manual channel picking is error prone and *** address these issues,automatic channel detection is both necessary and important for efficient and accurate seismic *** systems make use of real-time image processing techniques for different *** channel detection is a combination of different mathematical methods in digital image processing that can identify streaks within the images called channels that are important to the oil *** this paper,we propose an innovative automatic channel detection algorithm based on machine learning *** new algorithm can identify channels in seismic data/images fully automatically and tremendously increases the efficiency and accuracy of the interpretation *** algorithm uses deep neural network to train the classifier with both the channel and non-channel *** provide a field data example to demonstrate the performance of the new *** training phase gave a maximum accuracy of 84.6%for the classifier and it performed even better in the testing phase,giving a maximum accuracy of 90%.

Background and Aims:Sustained virologic response is evaluated by single-step reverse transcription(SRT)PCR as-say,which assesses hepatitis C virus(HCV)clearance from plasma but not from tissues such as peripheral blood mono-nuclear cells(PBmCs).Persistence of HCV RNA in PBmCs beyond end of treatment(EOT)is associated with *** goal was to measure intra-PBmC HCV RNA levels during oral antiviral therapy according to the HCV therapy follow-up fractionation(CTF2)***:Compen-sated chronic HCV patients(n=278 SRT-PCR positive)were scheduled to receive oral antiviral *** were followed-up by SRT and intra-PBmCs HCV RNA PCR at the end of the 2nd,6th,10th,14th,18th and 24th weeks to evaluate virus clearance from plasma and PBmCs,*** CTF2 protocol evaluated SRT and PBmC PCR status at each follow-up point for determining therapy continuation or inter-ruption to address cost ***:All patients tested negative by SRT PCR after therapy for 2 ***-cation of the CTF2 protocol revealed:a)increasing HCV clear-ance rate from 75.9%at the end of 10th week to 90.3%at the end of 24th week(pm plasma compared to PBmCs at each point of follow-up until the 18th week(pmination rates diagnosed by PBmC HCV RNA PCR(?)compared to PBmC HCV RNA PCR(+)from the 6th to 24th week of treatment(pme increase curve of combined plasma and PBmC HCV RNA determined negativity compared to the decline in positivity curves by PBmC PCR at the 6th-18th week compared to the 24th week(pment continuation;and e)solitary evaluation of EOT sustained HCV infection and relapses by PBmC HCV RNA(pmination of serum and tissue(PBmC)HCV infection by oral antiviral therapy can be achieved and evaluated during a cost-effective CTF2 pro-tocol application.
