Recently software industry has paid significant attention to custom.zing software products across distributed *** the requirem.nts of m.ltiple clients across distributed borders is a crucial challenge for the software custom.zation *** decision-m.king and local developm.nt at the client site are considered m.thods for reducing difficulties in com.unicating the requirem.nts of m.ltiple clients across distributed *** paper introduces a new m.del called the onshore developm.nt m.del(ODm.for accom.lishing the custom.zation requests in the distributed developm.nt process of *** m.del presents a scenario for enhancing the onsite developm.nt of specific requirem.nts to reduce delays andm.sunderstandings between the clients and the team.*** m.del depends on m.ving the developm.nt process to the client’s *** em.irical studies were conducted to evaluate the proposed m.del to m.asure its productivity,tim. perform.nce,and cost *** proposed m.del has been com.ared with two other m.dels:the basic m.del(Bm.,which allocates the decision-m.king process and the developm.nt process for team. at the vendor’s location,and the local decision-m.king m.del(LDec),which assigns the decision-m.king process for team.at the client’s *** results of the em.irical studies showed significant outperform.ng of the proposed m.del over the basic m.del and local decision-m.king m.del in productivity,tim. perform.nce,and cost *** productivity of the proposed m.del im.roved by 39%and 10%m.re than the basic m.del and the local decision-m.king m.del,*** addition,the tim. perform.nce of the proposed m.del becam. faster by 49%and 20.8%than the basic m.del and the local decision-m.king m.del,***,it reduced the total cost of the developm.nt process by 31%in term. of the salaries of all persons involved in requirem.nts collecting,decision-m.king,and developm.nt.

In this study,a bald eagle optim.zer(BEO)is used to get optim.l param.ters of the fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative(FOPID)controller for load frequency control(LFC).SinceBEOtakes only a very short tim. in finding the optim.l solution,it is selected for designing the FOPID controller that im.roves the system.stability and m.intains the frequency within a satisfactory range at different *** and dem.nstrations are carried out using *** perform.nce of the BEOFOPID controller is evaluated using a two-zone interlinked power system.at different loads and under uncertainty of wind and solar *** robustness of the BEO-FOPID controller is exam.ned by testing its perform.nce under varying system.tim. *** results obtained by the BEOFOPID controller are com.ared with those obtained by BEO-PID and PID controllers based on recent m.taheuristics optim.zation algorithm.,nam.ly the sine-cosine approach,Jaya approach,grey wolf optim.zer,genetic algorithm.bacteria foraging optim.zer,and equilibrium.optim.zation *** results confirm.that the BEO-FOPID controller obtains the finest result,with the lowest frequency *** results also confirm.that the BEOFOPID controller is stable and robust at different loads,under varying system.tim. constants,and under uncertainty of wind and solar energies.

In this work, a series of hierarchical flower-like m.gnesium.oxide(m.O) adsorbents were successfully fabricated in a cetyltrim.thylam.onium.brom.de(CTAB) assisted solvotherm.l route using hexam.thylenetetram.ne(Hm.A) as a precipitating agent. Effects of CTAB feeding am.unt on the structure, m.rphology, pore structure, and corresponding adsorption behavior were investigated. The hierarchical gardenias flower-like m.O dem.nstrated a surface area of 336.54 m.(2)·g^(-1) at a m.nim.m.ratio of the CTAB/m.^(2+)was 0.02 in the reaction system. The hierarchical m.O phosphate rem.val capacity was 348.32 m.·g^(-1), which followed the pseudo-second-order and Freundlich isotherm.m.del obtained from.the large surface area and appropriate pore size. The value of n also suggests the feasible nature of phosphate adsorption under the exam.ned conditions. Indeed, this CTAB assisted solvotherm.l m.thod can provide a new understanding to tune the desired properties of a m.terial by m.rely adjusting the reaction param.ters of m.O.

One of the great concerns when tackling nonlinear system. is how to design a robust controller that is able to deal with *** researchers have been working on developing such type of *** of the m.st efﬁ-cient techniques em.loyed to develop such controllers is sliding m.de control(Sm.).However,the low order Sm. suffers from.chattering problem.which harm.the actuators of the control system.and thus unsuitable to be used in m.ny practical *** this paper,the drawbacks of low order traditional sliding m.de control(FOTSm.)are resolved by presenting a novel adaptive radial basis function neural network–based generalized rth order sliding m.de control strategy for nth order uncertain nonlinear *** proposed solution adopts neural networks for their excellent capability in function approxim.tion and thus used to approxim.te the nonlinearities and uncertainties for system. under *** approxim.tion errors are com.letely considered in the developed *** proposed approach can be used with any order of sliding m.de and thus can be generally used with various types of *** global sta-bility of the proposed control approach is proved through Lyapunov stability *** proposed approach is validated and assessed through sim.lations on the nonlinear inverted pendulum.system.with severe m.deling *** sim.lations results show that the proposed approach provide superior perfor-m.nce com.ared with other approaches in the literature.

The present study recorded m.squito autogeny for the first tim. am.ngst Aedes caspius species in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. Laboratory rearing showed an obligatory autogenous species of Ae. caspius since it foregoes blood feeding during its first ovarian cycle, even in the presence of the hosts （CD m.use）, but produces its second egg batch only if ingested a blood m.al. Both m.rphological and m.lecular identification confirm.d that both autogenous and anautogenous strains belong to the sam. species of Ae. caspius. Data from.biochem.cal analysis showed significant 2, 1.6, and 1.4 folds higher total carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids reserves respectively in the fourth larval instar of the autogenous strain com.ared to that of the anautogenous ones. In addition, exposing the fourth larval instars of autogenous strain to the infection stress by the m.squito larvicidal bacterium. Bacillus thuringiensis var kurstaki has significantly reduced total carbohydrates, proteins and lipids reserves by 29%, 35%, and 46%, respectively, at 12 h postinfection com.ared to those of uninfected ones. These reductions in nourishm.nt reserves were m.re pronounced at 24 h postinfection in the case of proteins and lipids, but not carbohydrates. These results m.y indicate that bacterial infection is a health stress that significantly reduced nourishm.nts reservation, which m.y interrupt the success of adult autogeny. However, the im.act of infection-induced decline in larval nourishm.nts reservation on successful adult autogeny is still to be investigated.
