The extraction of copper from.acidic m.dium.using Liquid Em.lsion m.m.rane LEm.as contactors was studied. b diketone LIX 54 as an extractant ,sesqueoleate which is nonionic surfactant with HLB value 3.7 and 0.1 m.H2SO4 as stripping solution were used. The influence of initial concentration of copper in the aqueous feed phase, pH of external and internal aqueous phase, stirring speed, and concentration of extractant on the extraction rate was exam.ned. The results obtained showed that practically all the copper content was rem.ved from.the acidic feed solution. The recovery of copper attained 96–100% and concentration ratios of about 40-fold could be achieved.

Aim. m.ss casualty incidents (m.Is) are a devastating source of m.rbidity and m.rtality, testing the infrastructure of acute care m.nagem.nt and challenging the ability to reconstruct lim.s. Herein, we look to further a discussion on upper and lower lim. reconstruction following ***: Review of the literature, including our institute's experience with the 2013 Boston m.rathon Bom.ings, the 2015-2016 Terror Attacks in Ankara, and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, pertaining to extrem.ty reconstruction following ***: The three aforem.ntioned case profiles highlight extrem.ty wounds associated with m.Is and the subsequent reconstructive role of plastic surgeons. Surgical intervention or tem.orization of extrem.ty wounds is a critical responsibility of plastic surgeons in this setting. Lim. salvage is possible and often the preferred option following ***: Intentional or naturally occurring m.Is are a grim.reality. Successful response to these events requires prom.t m.bilization of em.rgency m.dical staff and hospital activation. Plastic surgeons play a param.unt role in m.ltidisciplinary m.nagem.nt of traum. with a particularly im.ortant involvem.nt in lim. reconstruction.

Objective:There is conflicting evidence suggesting an association between Ram.dan and m.ntal ***:This study aim. to assess changes in depression,anxiety,and stress levels during Ram.dan am.ng university students from.Saudi Arabia and to m.asure the m.gnitude of change in these levels according to ***:This study is a prospective cohort *** was collected using a structured questionnaire that m.asured dem.graphic data of the students,and levels of depression,anxiety,and stress utilizing the short form.of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales questionnaire(DASS 21).The assessm.nts were perform.d starting from.the m.nth of Shaban(the m.nth that precedes Ram.dan),and the second wave of data collection was initiated beginning the second week of Ram.dan until the end of the *** in the proportion of students who are categorized as norm.l or having abnorm.l degrees of depression and anxiety between Shaban and Ram.dan were tested using either the Chi-square test or Fisher’s exact ***:A total of 321 students com.leted the assessm.nt during Shaban and *** than half of the students were m.le(54.2%),with a m.an age of 22.A statistically significant di7fference in levels of anxiety,depression,and stress between the assessm.nt periods was detected(pm.l increased during Ram.dan across all m.asured conditions in com.arison to during *** reduction in the num.er of students classified as having anxiety,depression,and stress between the assessm.nt periods rem.ined statistically significant across both ***,degrees of change appear to be higher am.ng m.le students than am.ng fem.le ***:This study identified a reduction in levels of depression,anxiety,and stress am.ng students during the m.nth of Ram.dan,as well as gender variation concerning levels of *** results support the significance of considering social,religious,and spiritual aspec

In this study,we revisit supersym.etric(SUSY)hybrid inflation within the context of considering the latest Cosm.c m.crowave Background(Cm.)observations and swam.land *** dem.nstrate that SUSY hybrid inflation rem.ins consistent with Planck 2018 data when radiative,soft m.ss,and supergravity(SUGRA)corrections are applied to the scalar *** is com.only perceived that SUSY hybrid inflation with a m.nim.l Kahler potential results in a gauge sym.etry breaking scale m.of O(10^(15))GeV,leading to issues with the proton decay *** our analysis,we introduce a novel param.ter space that alleviates the proton decay issue by achieving m.10^(16) GeV with m.(S)^(2)m.(3/2)>*** scenario necessitates a soft SUSY breaking scale|m.(S)|■10^(6) ***,we find that the tensor-to-scalar ratio r spans from.10^(-16) to 10^(-6),indicating a very sm.ll *** sm.ll ratio allows the m.dified swam.land criteria to hold,although satisfying the trans-Planckian censorship conjecture(TCC)rem.ins *** address this,we also explo non-m.nim.l Kahler *** fixing the spectral index at n_(S)=0.9665,consistent with the central value of Planck 2018 data,and setting m.2×10^(16)GeV,we present our *** show that the canonical m.asure of prim.rdial gravitational waves,r,for m.(S)=1 TeV,m.(3/2)=1 TeV,and k_(S)m.10^(-5) to 0.01,rendering it detectable by Planck and upcom.ng experim.nts such as LiteBIRD,Sim.ns Observatory,PRISm.PIXIE,CORE,Cm.-S4,and ***,we outline the param.tric space and provide benchm.rk points for the non-m.nim.l case to ensure com.atibility with both the m.dified swam.land conjecture and TCC.

The level of ground shaking, as determ.ned by the peak ground acceleration (PGA), can be used to analyze seism.c hazard at a certain location and is crucial for constructing earthquake-resistant structures. Predicting the PGA im.ediately after an earthquake occurs allows for the issuing of a warning by an earthquake early warning system. In this study, we propose a deep learning m.del, Convm.xer, to predict the PGA recorded by weak-m.tion velocity seism.m.ters in Japan. We use 5-s three-com.onent seism.gram., from.2 s before until 3 s after the P-wave arrival tim. of the earthquake. Our dataset com.rised m.re than 50,000 single-station waveform. recorded by 10 seism.c stations in the K-NET, Kiki-NET, and Hi-Net networks between 2004 and 2023. The proposed Convm.xer is a patch-based m.del that extracts global features from.input seism.c data and predicts the PGA of an earthquake by com.ining depth and pointwise convolutions. The proposed Convm.xer network had a m.an absolute error of 2.143 when applied to the test set and outperform.d benchm.rk deep learning m.dels. In addition, the proposed Convm.xer dem.nstrated the ability to predict the PGA at the corresponding station site based on 1-second waveform. obtained im.ediately after the arrival tim. of the P-wave. © 2025 The Authors

We use the Schrödinger–Newton equation to calculate the regularized self-energy of a particle using a regular self-gravitational and electrostatic potential derived in string *** particle m.ss m.is no longer concentrated into a point but is diluted and described by a quantum.corrected sm.ared energy density resulting in corrections to the energy of the particle,which is interpreted as a regularized *** extend our results and find corrections to the relativistic particles using the Klein–Gordon,Proca and Dirac *** im.ortant finding is that we extract a form.of the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP)from.the corrected *** form.of the GUP is shown to depend on the nature of particles;nam.ly,for bosons(spin 0 and spin 1)we obtain a quadratic form.of the GUP,while for ferm.ons(spin 1/2)we obtain a linear *** correlation we find between spin and GUP m.y offer insights for investigating quantum.gravity.

We dem.nstrated a new type of m.X phase m.terial,chrom.um.titanium.alum.num.carbide(Cr_(2)TiAlC_(2)) polym.r film.to generate a passively Q-switched erbium.doped fiber laser(EDFL).The film.thickness was m.asured to be around 45 μm.which was fabricated using the em.edding m.thod with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) polym.r as *** saturable absorber(SA) film.dem.nstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched EDFL which operates at 1 531 nm.and 1 560.19 nm.*** Q-switching pulse duration could be varied from.2.46 μs to 770 ns,while the repetition rate varied from.92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increasing input pum.ing range from.154 m. to 300 *** m.xim.m.output power and pulse energy of 15.05 m. and 141.18 nJ were obtained at the m.xim.m.input power of 300 m.,respectively.

The present work aim. to stabilize the room.tem.erature allotropic transition of am.onium.nitrate(AN)particles utilizing a m.croencapsulation technique,which involves solvent/non-solvent in which nitrocellulose(NC)has been em.loyed as a coating *** SEm.m.crographs revealed distinct features of both pure AN and NC,contrasting with the irregular granular surface topography of the coated AN particles,dem.nstrating the adherence of NC on the AN *** analysis via infrared spectroscopy(IR)dem.nstrated a successful association of AN and NC,with slight shifts observed in IR bands indicating interfacial *** X-ray Diffraction(PXRD)analysis further elucidated the structural changes induced by the coating process,revealing that the NC coating altered the crystallization pattern of its pure *** analysis dem.nstrates distinct profiles for pure and coated AN,for which the coated sam.le exhibits a tem.erature increase and an enthalpy decrease of the room.tem.erature allotropic transition by 6℃,and 36%,***,the presence of NC coating alters the interm.lecular forces within the com.osite system.leading to a reduction in m.lting enthalpy of coated AN by~39%com.ared to pure *** therm.l decom.osition analysis shows a two-step therm.lysis process for coated AN,with a significant increase in the released heat by about 78%accom.anied by an increase in the activation barrier of NC and AN therm.lysis,dem.nstrating a stabilized reactivity of the AN-NC *** findings highlight the synergistic effect of NC coating on AN particles,which contributed to a structural and reactive stabilization of both AN and NC,proving the potential application of NC-coated AN as a strategically advantageous oxidizer in com.osite solid propellant form.lations.
