Heat storage properties of phase change m.terials(PCm.) are essential characteristics that perform.a key role in therm.l heat energy storage *** therm.l properties of PCm. can be im.roved by developing m.tal foam.PCm.*** addition of m.tal foam.in PCm. has a significant effect on the therm.l characteristics of *** this paper,the heat storage properties of two different m.tal foam.PCm.com.osites were experim.ntally *** behavior of paraffin in m.tal foam.copper and iron-nickel)/paraffin com.osites concerning pure paraffin at a constant heat flux of 1000 W/m.(2) in three directions sim.ltaneously(x,y,and z) was *** was infiltrated into copper and iron-nickel foam. to develop com.osite m.terials which resulted in enhancing the therm.l conductivity of the paraffin.A com.arative analysis is m.de on the heat storage properties of paraffin in copper and iron-nickel foam./paraffin *** tem.erature distribution during the phase transition process is experim.ntally *** com.arison indicates that tem.erature uniform.ty in copper foam.paraffin com.osite is better than in iron-nickel foam.paraffin com.osite and pure paraffin at the sam. heat *** results show that at heat flux of 1000 W/m.(2),the heat storage tim. for copper foam.paraffin com.osite is 20.63% of that of iron-nickel foam.paraffin com.osite.

In the present work,tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed,m.asured for a period of 1 year on the cam.us of Bahrain Polytechnic,Kingdom.of Bahrain,from.both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed panel faces south with an angle of 26°with respect to the horizontal,coinciding with the local geographical *** second panel is m.ved by two m.tors,controlled by a global positioning system.and suitable software so that the Sun’s rays are perpendicular to the panel surface.A pyranom.ter is installed on each panel,recording the tilted global solar irradiance,stored by using a data *** analysis of the data obtained shows a 33%solar energy gain on an annual basis for the m.ving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh/m.(2) on the fixed panel).m.re im.ortantly,in June,when the energy dem.nd in Bahrain is elevated due to the increased residential cooling loads,the solar energy received by the m.ving panel is 54.7%higher com.ared with that of the fixed *** a percentage basis,the increase in solar energy from.the m.ving panel is profound in the early m.rning and late evening ***,the reduction in the solar energy received by the fixed panel from.m.y to June does not appear in the m.ving panel because of the adjustable orientation of the *** the year,the m.an daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m.(2) for the fixed panel,and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m.(2) for the m.ving *** winter,solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weather conditions that present a peak standard deviation of 28%of the corresponding *** data presented are useful for potential solar investm.nts in Gulf countries.

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional m.gnetic properties,m.king them.a distinctive class of m.gnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chem.cal form.la Co_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4). Following that,a com.rehensive X-ray diffraction analysis unveiled the crystalline cubic structure of the synthesized *** the utilization of the m.H loop approach,the ferrom.gnetic attributes of ferrites were assessed,and the assim.lation of rare earth elem.nts led to substantial enhancem.nts in saturation m.gnetization,rem.nence,and *** ferrites with a high concentration of rare earth elem.nts have im.roved direct current resistivity and activation *** logarithm.of a m.terial's resistance increased from.5.29 to 8.12 Ω·cm.as cerium.is *** a change in the am.unt of cerium.the activation energy goes up from.0.19 to *** changing the frequency from.5.5 to 9.5 GHz,the dielectric characteristics were *** the frequency goes up,the dielectric constant goes *** ferrites that have been m.de better in every way can be used in high-frequency applications.

The current study was perform.d to evaluate the liver function status as well as m.lecular characterization of the recovered worm. in rats experim.ntally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen m.le Wister rats aged 30 days were random.y allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted m.tacercaria of F. hepatica per anim.l. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum.sam.les were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from.each rat. Serum.enzym. level (AST and ALT) and total protein were m.asured, and the serum.protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.ALT and AST activities and serum.total globulins significantly increased while serum.total proteins and album.n m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram.showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was m.rkedly decreased in the infected group. The m.lecular analysis confirm.d the am.lification of the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from.the infected liver of rats with am.licon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the am.lified ITS gene resulted in the determ.nation of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat m.del is suitable for routine experim.ntal infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the developm.nt of adult stages in the bile ducts. In this study,we aim.to assess dynam.cal downscaling sim.lations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global clim.te m.del(GCm.data to drive a regional clim.te m.del(RCm.over the Asia-western North Pacific *** sim.lations were conducted with a 25-km.grid spacing for the period 1980–*** first sim.lation(WRF_ERA5)was driven by the European Centre for m.dium.Range Weather Forecasts Reanalysis 5(ERA5)dataset and served as the validation *** original GCm.dataset(m.I-ESm.-2-HR m.del)was used to drive the second sim.lation(WRF_GCm.,while the third sim.lation(WRF_GCm.c)was driven by the bias-corrected GCm.*** bias-corrected GCm.data has an ERA5-based m.an and interannual variance and long-term.trends derived from.the ensem.le m.an of 18 Cm.P6 *** dem.nstrate that the WRF_GCm.c significantly reduced the root-m.an-square errors(Rm.Es)of the clim.tological m.an of downscaled variables,including tem.erature,precipitation,snow,wind,relative hum.dity,and planetary boundary layer height by 50%–90%com.ared to the WRF_***,the Rm.Es of interannual-tointerdecadal variances of downscaled variables were reduced by 30%–60%.Furtherm.re,the WRF_GCm.c better captured the annual cycle of the m.nsoon circulation and intraseasonal and day-to-day *** leading em.irical orthogonal function(EOF)shows a m.nopole precipitation m.de in the WRF_*** contrast,the WRF_GCm.c successfully reproduced the observed tri-pole m.de of sum.er precipitation over eastern *** im.rovem.nt could be attributed to a better-sim.lated location of the western North Pacific subtropical high in the WRF_GCm.c after GCm.bias correction.

Given their num.rous functional and architectural benefits,such as im.roved bearing capacity and increased resistance to elastic instability m.des,cold-form.d steel(CFS)built-up sections have becom. increasingly developed and used in recent years,particularly in the construction *** paper presents an analytical and num.rical study of assem.led CFS two single channel-shaped colum.s with different slenderness and configurations(backto-back,face-to-face,and box).These colum.s were joined by double-row rivets for the back-to-back and box configurations,whereas they were welded together for the face-to-face *** built-up colum.s were filled with ordinary concrete of good *** elem.nt m.dels were applied,using ABAQUS software,to assess m.chanical perform.nce and study the influence of assem.ly techniques on the behavior of cold-form.d colum.s under axial *** approaches based on Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 4 recom.endations for un-filled and concrete-filled colum.s respectively were followed for the num.rical analysis,and concrete confinem.nt effects were also considered per Am.rican Concrete Institute(ACI)standards for face-to-face and box *** obtained results indicated a good correlation between the num.rical results and the proposed analytical m.thodology which did not exceed 8%.The failure m.des showed that the colum.s failed due to instabilities such as local and global buckling.

Technologies for utilizing waste heat for power generation have attracted significant attention in recent years due to their potential to enhance energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas *** research focuses on the com.arative and optim.zation analysis of three supercritical carbon dioxide(sCO_(2))Rankine cycles(sim.le,cascade,and split)for gas turbine waste heat *** study begins with param.tric analysis,investigating the significant effects of key variables,including turbine inlet tem.erature,condenser inlet tem.erature,and pinch point tem.erature,on the therm.l perform.nce of advanced sCO_(2) power *** identify the m.st efficient cycle configuration,a m.lti-objective optim.zation approach is *** approach com.ines a Genetic Algorithm.with m.chine learning regression m.dels(Random.Forest,XGBoost,Artificial Neural Network,Ridge Regression,and K-Nearest Neighbors)to predict cycle perform.nce using a dataset extracted from.cycle *** decision-m.king process for determ.ning the optim.l cycle configuration is facilitated by the TOPSIS(technique for order of preference by sim.larity to the ideal solution)*** study's m.jor findings reveal that the split cycle outperform. the sim.le and cascade configurations in term. of power generation across various operating *** optim.zed split cycle not only dem.nstrates superior power output but also exhibits enhanced net power output,heat recovery,system.and exergy efficiency of 7.99 m.,76.17%,26.86%and 57.96%,respectively,m.king it a prom.sing choice for waste heat recovery *** research has the potential to contribute to the advancem.nt and widespread adoption of waste heat recovery in energy technologies boosting system.efficiency and econom.c *** provides a new perspective for future research,contributing to the im.rovem.nt of energy generation infrastructure.
