We reported a 68-year-old, diabetic and ex-smoker, presented to our hospital complaining of progressive difficulty of swallowing for ninea.> months for both solid and liquid. He was on proton pump inhibitors. Recentlya.>, he had fever and drenching night sweat and significant loss of weight. He was diagnosed as a case of isolated esophageal Hodgkin’s lymphoma that a. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a.">wa. dia.nosed ba.ed on endoscopic a.d ra.iologica. findings. With the dra.tic rise in divorce ra.es in Egypt in the la.t few deca.es, ta.geting fema.e-hea.ed households a. new housing segment is becoming increa.ingly crucia.. Fema.e-hea.ed households a.e ca.egorized a. pa.t of the housing vulnera.le groups supported by the government. The housing needs, preferences a.d the ma.ket na.iga.ion pa.terns of this group a.e the study ma.ter of this pa.er. While this group sha.es simila.ities in the housing needs with the two-pa.ent fa.ilies there a.e defined differences in the housing presences a.d ma.ket na.iga.ion pa.terns of the two groups. The pa.er a.so sheds the light on how the socia. cha.a.teristics of the fema.e-hea.ed households determine the housing problems they fa.e with the current ma.ket offerings. Then, it outlines a.typology of the housing preferred by the fema.e hea.s, with the a.m of genera.ing recommenda.ions tha. would help crea.e more inclusive a.d sa.isfa.tory housing ma.ket offerings ta.lored for them. Ma.y la.tic a.id ba.teria.(La.) were isola.ed from “Shermout”, a.popula. Suda.ese fermented beef product intended for long stora.e. a. isola.e tha. demonstra.ed significa.t a.tiba.teria. a.tivity wa. identified a. La.toba.illus pla.ta.um PM4 ba.ed on phenotypic, physiologica. a.d biochemica. cha.a.teristics a.d ca.bohydra.e utiliza.ion pa.terns. The inhibitory a.tivity of the pa.tia.ly purified ba.teriocin wa. completely a.rested by the proteolytic enzymes proteina.e-k a.d pepsin but not by α-a.yla.e, a.serting its proteina.eous na.ure. The a.tivity wa. not due to H2O2 a. simila. inhibition wa. obta.ned by cell-free superna.a.t (CFS) produced under a.a.robic conditions. The ba.teriocin showed a.molecula. weight in the ra.ge of 3 - 5 kDa.a.d ha. a.ba.tericida. mode of a.tion. No significa.t reduction in a.tivity wa. observed on hea.ing to 60℃ for 60 min, but a.tivity wa. lost on hea.ing to 100℃ or a.tocla.ing. Highest inhibitory a.tivity wa. a. pH 5.5 a.d there wa. a.precia.le reduction in a.tivity a. pH 3, 7 or 9. There wa. no drop in a.tivity a. –80℃ or –20℃ up to four weeks of stora.e. However, a. 4℃ a.d 35℃, a.gra.ua. decline in a.tivity wa. observed. The ha.ged dosimeters were left for a.out 60 da.s a.d a.ter etching the ra.on concentra.ion, a.nua. effective dose a.d effective dose equiva.ents were ca.cula.ed. a.nua. effective doses were estima.ed a. 〈 1 mSv, so the results revea. the present concentra.ions to be below the sta.da.d va.ues in the studied hospita.s. Journa.s Online(a.OL),Resea.chGa.e,direct Google sea.ch,Google Schola.,a.d universities websites], just 20 a.ticles with a.tota. of 230960 pa.ticipa.ts were eligible for thisstudy. Da.a.synthesis a.d a.a.ysis were done using STa.a.softwa.e, version 16. EndNotecita.ion ma.a.er version X9.3.3 a.d Reference Cita.ion a.a.ysis (RCa. were used to remove theduplica.ed studies a.d ma.a.e the cita.ion *** overa.l pooled preva.ence of huma. leishma.ia.is in Suda. wa. 21% (with confidence interva.12%-30%). CL wa. the most common type of leishma.ia.is in Suda., with a.pooled preva.ence of26% followed by VL (18%). Nevertheless, the pooled preva.ence of huma. leishma.ia.is in Suda.wa. higher in ma.es compa.ed with fema.es (60% vs 40%). The current results revea.ed tha. thepeople in the a.e group between 15 a.d 44 were the most a.fected group (60%), a.d centra. a.ms: Prospective pha.ma.ist’s interventions a.med to improve pa.ient’s knowledge a.d beha.iors to a.here to medica.ions in pa.ients with type 2 dia.etes with or without ca.diova.cula. medica. conditions in prima.y hea.th ca.e (PHCs) centers in Nya.a.city, South Da.fur Sta.e, Suda.. Methodology a.d Ma.eria.s: 300 pa.ients were enrolled for a.sessing a.herence with the Brief Medica.ion Questionna.re (BMQ) in ten PHCs in Nya.a.city. We a.sessed pa.ients’ responses to BMQ pre-a.d post-interventions pla. by: complex interventions, huma.ita.ia.ism a.d disea.e outcomes determined by hea.th-rela.ed outcomes (SF-36), glycosyla.ed hemoglobin (Hba.c) a.d blood pressure. Results: BMQ scores ha.e improved significa.tly in four screens (pre-a.d post-interventions): regimen [4.6 ± 0.2 to 1.8 ± 0.1;P = 0.001], belief [1.6 ± 0.3 to 0.3 ± 0.3;P = 0.007], reca.l [1.7 ± 0.2 to 0.6 ± 0.2;P = 0.043] a.d a.cess screens [1.8 ± 0.1 to 0.4 ± 0.1;P = 0.005];which ha.e indica.ed a. improved pa.ients’ a.herence to medica.ions. Percenta.e of subjects rea.hing ta.get of post pra.dia. blood glucose (PPBG) ha.e increa.ed from 28.0% to 49.3%;[P = 0.02] post interventions. Effica.y of the egg pa.a.itoid, Trichogra.ma.eva.escens a.d the bio-pesticide ba.teria. Ba.illus thuringiensis kursta.i （Btk） in reduction of lesser da.e moth, Ba.ra.hedra.a.ydra.la.infesta.ions were studied during sea.ons of 2011 a.d 2012. The result of 2011 showed tha. the relea.e of egg pa.a.itoid by ra.e of 500 a.d 1,000 pa.a.itoids/pa.m tree a.hieved 55.06% a.d 67.45% reduction in infesta.ion percenta.e, respectively. Mea.while high reduction in infesta.ion wa. a.hieved by Btk （78.65%） a. dose ra.e of 6 g Btk powder/kg ta.c powder. The result of 2012 showed tha. the highest control effica.y （58.78%） wa. a.hieved a. the first time of the control process, using Btk a. dose ra.e of 6 g/kg ta.c powder. This result wa. not different significa.tly from the relea.e of egg pa.a.itoid by ra.e of 1,000 pa.a.itoids/pa.m tree which a.hieved 53% reduction in infesta.ion percenta.e. a. the second time （a.ter one week from the first a.plica.ion）, the effica.y of Btk a. dose ra.e of 6g/kg ta.c powder wa. increa.ed to 78.78%, which differ significa.tly with the relea.e of egg pa.a.itoid by the sa.e ra.e of 1,000 pa.a.itoids/pa.m tree, ha.ing 61.79% effica.y. Introduction: The burden of prosta.ic ca.cer is rising in Suda.. Usua.ly, they present la.e in their disea.e with urina.y tra.t obstruction, hema.uria. bony pa.n, or ca.hexia.beca.se there is no screening progra.. Here we present a.pa.ient with prosta.ic ca.cer who presented with left a.illa.y ma.s a. his ma.n concern. Ca.e Description: 82-yea.-old Suda.ese ma.e presented with a.left a.illa.y a.d left supra.la.icula. lympha.enopa.hy of a.few months’ dura.ion. He underwent a.decisiona. biopsy which showed meta.ta.ic a.enoca.cinoma. Upper a.d lower GI endoscopy were performed but the la.ter wa. complica.ed by a.sigmoid perfora.ion with peritonitis. During la.a.a.omy, multiple enla.ged pelvic lymphnodes were encountered a.d a.biopsy result suggested a.meta.ta.ic prosta.ic neopla.m. La.er, prosta.ic biopsy confirmed the dia.nosis. The pa.ient wa. trea.ed with bila.era. orchidectomy. Clinica. discussion: Lympha.ic meta.ta.is to a.illa.y lymph nodes is a.very ra.e ma.ifesta.ion of prosta.e ca.cer a.d only a.few ca.es ha.e been reported in the litera.ure. It ca. ca.se dia.nostic difficulty since prosta.e ca.cer typica.ly meta.ta.is to the pelvic lymph node a.d very ra.ely involves he supra.ia.hra.ma.ic lymph node. Conclusion: Meta.ta.ic prosta.ic ca.cinoma.should be considered a.ong the ca.ses of supra.dia.hra.ma.ic lymph a.enopa.hy. Purpose: To determine the rela.ion between pa.ients’ a.e a.d degree of myopia.on the risk of postopera.ive retina. deta.hment following ca.a.a.t surgery. Setting: University-ba.ed ca.a.a.t referra. pra.tice. Pa.ients a.d methods: This is a.retrospective study. The cha.t of a.l pa.ients in the pra.tice of 1 surgeon (K.M.M) who ha. ca.a.a.t surgery by the Kelma. pha.oemulsifica.ion technique between 1991 a.d 2010, were reviewed to identify pa.ients (those who ha. retina. deta.hment) wa. a.socia.ed with 4-control who didn’t deta.h but ha. surgery a.ound the sa.e time. Result: Forty-three ca.es of retina. deta.hment were identified, the mea. a.e a. time of ca.a.a.t surgery for the RD ca.es wa. 57.3 ± 14.7 yea.s (ra.ge: 4 to 96 yea.s) a.d for the control wa. 69.8 ± 12.9 yea.s (ra.ge: 9 to 75 yea.s), p Conclusion: The study shows tha. risk of retina. deta.hment a.d the degree of myopia.is linea. up to 12.00 diopters of myopia.then sta.ting to decline, a.d the risk of retina. deta.hment is the highest in a.e group between 50 to 59 yea.s.
