Image captioning has gained increasing attention in recent *** characteristics found in input images play a crucial role in generating high-quality *** studies have used visual attention mechanisms to dynamically focus on localized regions of the input image,improving the effectiveness of identifying relevant image regions at each step of caption ***,providing image captioning models with the capability of selecting the most relevant visual features from the input image and attending to them can significantly improve the utilization of these ***,this leads to enhanced captioning network *** light of this,we present an image captioning framework that efficiently exploits the extracted representations of the *** framework comprises three key components:the Visual Feature Detector module(VFD),the Visual Feature Visual Attention module(VFVA),and the language *** VFD module is responsible for detecting a subset of the most pertinent features from the local visual features,creating an updated visual features ***,the VFVA directs its attention to the visual features matrix generated by the VFD,resulting in an updated context vector employed by the language model to generate an informative *** the VFD and VFVA modules introduces an additional layer of processing for the visual features,thereby contributing to enhancing the image captioning model’s *** the MS-COCO dataset,our experiments show that the proposed framework competes well with state-of-the-art methods,effectively leveraging visual representations to improve *** implementation code can be found here:https://***/althobhani/VFDICM(accessed on 30 July 2024).

Lightweight deep convolutional neural networks(CNNs)present a good solution to achieve fast and accurate image-guided diagnostic procedures of COVID-19 ***,advantages of portable Ultrasound(US)imaging such as simplicity and safe procedures have attracted many radiologists for scanning suspected COVID-19 *** this paper,a new framework of lightweight deep learning classifiers,namely COVID-LWNet is proposed to identify COVID-19 and pneumonia abnormalities in US *** to traditional deep learning models,lightweight CNNs showed significant performance of real-time vision applications by using mobile devices with limited hardware *** main lightweight deep learning models,namely MobileNets,ShuffleNets,MENet and MnasNet have been proposed to identify the health status of lungs using US *** image dataset(POCUS)was used to validate our proposed COVID-LWNet framework *** classes of infectious COVID-19,bacterial pneumonia,and the healthy lung were investigated in this *** results showed that the performance of our proposed MnasNet classifier achieved the best accuracy score and shortest training time of 99.0%and 647.0 s,*** paper demonstrates the feasibility of using our proposed COVID-LWNet framework as a new mobilebased radiological tool for clinical diagnosis of COVID-19 and other lung diseases.

Studies on a low Reynolds number airfoil for small wind turbine applications

In contrast to large horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWTs) that are located in areas dictated by optimum wind conditions, small wind turbines are required for producing power without necessarily the best wind conditions. A low Reynolds number airfoil was designed after testing a number of low Reynolds number airfoils and then making one of our own; it was tested for use in small HAWTs. Studies using XFOIL and wind tunnel experiments were performed on the new airfoil at various Reynolds numbers. The pressure distribution, C p , the lift and drag coefficients, C L and C D , were studied for varying angles of attack, α. It is found that the airfoil can achieve very good aerodynamic characteristics at different Reynolds numbers and can be used as an efficient airfoil in small HAWTs.

Phishing,an Internet fraudwhere individuals are deceived into revealing critical personal and account information,poses a significant risk to both consumers and web-based *** indicates a persistent rise in phishing ***,these fraudulent schemes are progressively becoming more intricate,thereby rendering them more challenging to ***,it is imperative to utilize sophisticated algorithms to address this *** learning is a highly effective approach for identifying and uncovering these harmful *** learning(ML)approaches can identify common characteristics in most phishing *** this paper,we propose an ensemble approach and compare it with six machine learning techniques to determine the type of website and whether it is normal or not based on two phishing *** that,we used the normalization technique on the dataset to transform the range of all the features into the same *** findings of this paper for all algorithms are as follows in the first dataset based on accuracy,precision,recall,and F1-score,respectively:Decision Tree(DT)(0.964,0.961,0.976,0.968),Random Forest(RF)(0.970,0.964,0.984,0.974),Gradient Boosting(GB)(0.960,0.959,0.971,0.965),XGBoost(XGB)(0.973,0.976,0.976,0.976),AdaBoost(0.934,0.934,0.950,0.942),Multi Layer Perceptron(MLP)(0.970,0.971,0.976,0.974)and Voting(0.978,0.975,0.987,0.981).So,the Voting classifier gave the best *** in the second dataset,all the algorithms gave the same results in four evaluation metrics,which indicates that each of them can effectively accomplish the prediction ***,this approach outperformed the previous work in detecting phishing websites with high accuracy,a lower false negative rate,a shorter prediction time,and a lower false positive rate.

Waste Heat Recovery from a Drier Receiver of an A/C Unit Using Thermoelectric Generators

Thermoelectric generators(TEGs)are considered promising devices for waste heat recovery from various *** Seebeck effect can be utilized to generate power using the residual heat emitted by the filter dryer receiver(FDR)of an air conditioning(A/C)system,which would otherwise go to *** study aims to build a set of thermoelectric generators(TEG)to collect the waste heat of the FDR and generate low-power electricity.A novel electrical circuit with two transformers is designed and fabricated to produce a more stable voltage for operation and *** thermoelectric generator(TEGs)was installed on the FDR of the A/C *** test showed that climate conditions have a significant impact on the output power generated from the *** results showed that the peak voltage recorded in the current study is 5.2 V per day(wet,cold,and wind weather)with an output power of 0.2 *** values are acceptable for powering the load and charging a single battery with 3.5 V as the voltage increases battery 0.1 V/20 min charge.A case study of operating the emergency signs in a building was *** current heat recovery system is deemed to be easily installed and can be connected to a network of TEGs to produce more power.

Hepatoprotective evaluation of Anogeissus latifolia:In vitro and in vivo studies

AIM： To evaluate the hepatoprotective activity of a hydroalcoholic extract of the bark of Anogeissus latifolia; in vitro in primary rat hepatocyte monolayer culture and in vivo in the liver of Wistar rats intoxicated by carbon tetrachloride （CCl4）. METHODS： In the in vitro study, a primary hepatocyte monolayer culture was treated with CCh and extract of Anogeissus latifolia. Hepatoprotective activity was demonstrated in the CCh damaged primary monolayer culture. In the in vivo study, the hepatoprotective activity of a hydroalcoholic extract ofAnogeissus latifolia was analyzed in liver injured CCh-treated rats. Biochemical parameters including serum transaminases [aspartate aminotransferase （AST） and alanine aminotransferase （ALT）] and alkaline phosphatase （ALP） in serum wereanalyzed. The biochemical findings were supplemented with histopathological examination of rat liver sections. RESULTS： In vitro： primary hepatocyte monolayer cultures were treated with CCh and extract of Anogeissus latifolia. A protective activity could be demonstrated in the CCh damaged primary monolayer cultUre. In vivo： Hydroalcoholic extract of Anogeissus latifolia （300 mg/kg） was found to have protective activity in rats with CCh-induced liver damage as judged from serum marker enzyme activity. CONCLUSION： The above findings lead to the conclusion that the hydroalcoholic extract of Anogeissus latifol/a is hepatoprotective. Hence, we suggest that the inclusion of this plant in the management of liver disorders is justified.

涡旋压缩机作为一种现代高效的流体机械,已广泛应用于空调、制冷、泵送和各种气体的压缩。涡旋盘是涡旋压缩机最重要的部件,其加工精度直接影响压缩机的性能。影响涡旋盘表面质量的最重要因素是加工参数,例如过大的切削力将导致切削区域温度过高,使得加工表面质量变差。涡旋盘的高表面质量通常会增加生产时间和成本。因此,制定合理的加工参数,并在满足精度要求和期望成本之间取得平衡至关重要,这可以通过合理选择加工参数和刀具参数来实现。本文的研究内容如下:首先,建立基于共轭啮合的涡旋型线几何模型并完成涡旋盘铣削加工实验。用法向等距法建立了三段基圆渐开线涡旋盘型线方程,分别使用Matlab和Solidworks建立二维和三维几何模型。然后,确定了涡旋盘铣削加工方案,在XK714数控铣床上进行了正交试验,测量和分析了铣削输出的实验数据。其次,采用田口法和方差分析研究了切削深度、进给速度、主轴转速和径向切削深度等加工变量对输出响应(表面粗糙度、切削力和材料去除率)的影响。其中田口法用于研究和预测最佳铣削参数,方差分析用于调查每个变量的贡献百分比及其显著性。然后,使用Minitab 17为每个单一响应建立非线性回归预测模型。单一优化结果表明,进给量和切削深度是影响表面粗糙度和铣削力的最关键因素,而径向切削深度和进给量是影响材料去除率的最关键因素。最后利用等高线图对实验结果进行了讨论。第三,从每个铣削因子的五个层次的约束条件出发,建立了多响应优化模型。采用两种方法作为多响应优化方法:基于期望函数分析的田口法(田口-DFA)和基于灰色关联分析的田口法(田口-GRA)。根据第一种方法,最佳参数为(a=1.5 mm,f=0.15mm,n=3500rpm,a=1mm),获得的输出为R=0.68μm,F=183.3N,MRR=1.51cm/min,方差分析结果表明,铣削过程受主轴转速和径向切削深度的影响最大。根据第二种方法,最佳参数为(a=1mm,f=0.05mm,n=4000 rpm,a=0.2mm),获得的输出为R=0.391μm,F=44.8N,MRR=0.14cm/min,其中进给速度和切割深度对铣削操作的影响最大。两种模型都成功地优化了铣削过程;田口-DFA更可取,因为该方法中所有三个优化输出都在约束范围之内。最后,使用AdvantEdge软件分两步对刀具参数(几何形状、材料和涂层)进行了模拟检查。第一步考察了各个因素的不同水平对切削力F的影响,第二步考察了四个因素组合对切削力F的影响,使用田口法和方差分析来检查多个变量在F上的相互作用,然后对其进行优化,以获得最小的切削力。研究结果表明,刀具半径是影响F的最重要因素,占比83.7%,其次是刀具材料,占比8.68%。在田口法优化下,涡旋盘加工工艺改进了6%。
