Preparation and characterization of sphere-like Cu_2SnS_3 nanoparticles and their dropcasted thin films

Ternary sphere-like Cu2 SnS3（CTS）semiconductor and 2D hexagonal sheets were synthesized via a simple solvothermal method using PVP as the surface ligand at two temperatures of 180 and 220 *** structural,morphological,and chemical compositions as well as optical properties of as-synthesized CTS particles were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Raman spectroscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry（EDS）,field emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）,and UV-Vis *** size of sphere-like particles and the side length of hexagonal sheets were within the range of 120-140 nm and 500 nm-2 μm,***,XRD,and EDS were analyzed to investigate the mechanism of the morphological evolution of CTS *** particles showed proliferation of Sn atomic ratio,which is strongly sensitive to reaction temperature and,highly affects the increase of band gap energy from 1.36 to 1.53 eV due to generation metal defects and formation SnS2-The optical analysis via the transmittance and reflectance reveals that the band-gap energy of dropcasted CTS thin films decreases after annealing due to grain growth and change of chemical ***-responses of CTS nanocrystal thin films indicated a considerable increase in the conductivity of the films under light *** these results showed the potential of these films for solar cell applications.

A Puzzle of Quantum Phase Transition on Gd-IMC by Tuning of Conduction Electron Concentration

Based on the critical unstable of both crystal and magnetic structure of Gd-intermetallic compound near the competition of two strongly independent subsystem （＂local 4f7＂ and ＂conduction electron concentration＂）, a new QPT （quantum point transition） is predicted by calculation of：（1） The band structure and density of state by density functional theory where a strong narrowing fluidity of fermions around EF with shifted to negative value ＂-0.8 eV ＂is observable in the Gd-intermetalliccompound system while in the Y-case, it is not dominated. An antiferromagnetic state on the fluidity of conduction band can be investigated; （2） The internal magnetic field due to short range exchange interaction Jij between the nearest neighbor of local magnetic moment of stable s-state of Gd （L = 0） through the mean field approximation and of Eigenvalue-Eigenfunction ~.（k） are calculated. While a strong negative value of Jy is predicted, the eigenvalue L（k） of the system shows a strong antiferromagnetic phase in the reciprocal lattice direction 〈010〉, 〈001〉 in the correlation length 3.38 ~A. Although the antiferromagnetic state at Rc 〈_ 3.38 °A is a puzzle but it is completely dominated at Rc = 9 °A after passing through the competition between ）.λmin（O） and λmin（π） in the ranger of 3.2 °A 〈 Rc 〈 9 °A. Since both of the antiferromagnetic subsystems are sensitive to the predicted KF, the effect of decreasing of conduction electron is proposed to investigate, the change of the antiferromagnetic ordering state to the competition of ferromagnetic state （in direction 〈010〉） and antiferromagnetic state （in direction 〈001 〉 and 〈 100〉） resulted to paramagnetic state in the long range Rc = 9 °A.

Idiopathic portal hypertension is a disorder that has various clinical *** is mostly characterized by bleeding oesophageal varices,obvious splenomegaly,anaemia and,occasionally,jaundice and *** we described an interesting case of idiopathic portal hypertension caused by coeliac disease in a 38-year-old *** putting this patient on a gluten-free diet,liver function tests became normal and portal vein diameter returned to normal *** report indicates that,in coeliac disease,repetitive stimulation by antigens along the portal vein—and immune responses to them—can result in the development of idiopathic portal hypertension.

Provincial clustering of malaria in Iran between 2005 and 2014

Objective: To reveal the provincial clustering of malaria in Iran between 2005 and 2014 based on the epidemiologic factors and the climatic indicators affecting the disease. Methods: This was a descriptive-analytical study using malaria and meteorological data from the Malaria Elimination Programme of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and National Meteorological Organization. After standardization, the aggregate data was used to produce 10-year means for each province. The data analysis included grouping the provinces with respect to factors using hierarchical clustering method and Kruskal-Wallis test to examine the difference between clusters using SPSS ver.23. Results: The hierarchical clustering stratified the provinces' in 5 clusters. Kruskal-Wallis H test revealed a significant difference in the incidence rate per 100000 population (P=0.001), male gender (P=0.001), Iranian nationality (P=0.001), Afghan nationality (P=0.003), Pakistani nationality (P=0.001), urban residence (P=0.006), rural residence (P=0.004), autochthonous cases (P=0.007), average minimum temperature (P=0.001), average maximum temperature (P=0.007), average relative humidity (P=0.011), average pressure level (P=0.038), prevailing wind direction (P=0.023), average wind speed (P=0.031) and average precipitation sum (P=0.002) among the clusters. Conclusions: The results of this study and stratification of the provinces could help health policy makers to better manage malaria by allocating resources accordingly.

目的:评估先天性上睑下垂患者的弱视发病情况。方法:在本横断面研究中,包括1岁以上的先天性上睑下垂患者100例(114眼)。最佳矫正视力小于10/10或两眼之间至少相差2/10者定义为弱视。年幼患者不能进行斯内伦视力表检测者,观察其注视情况。不同弱视患者的类型:1)屈光参差性弱视:散光性屈光参差≥1.00D;远视性球镜屈光参差≥1.00D,近视性球镜屈光参差≥-3.00D(睫状肌麻痹);2)斜视性弱视,3)形觉剥夺性弱视(SDA)。观察弱视的总发病率及类型,并对单侧和双侧上睑下垂患者进行比较。结果:弱视的发生率在上睑下垂患者为39/114(34.2%),其具体原因:屈光参差性弱视占29.8%,SDA占10.5%,斜视性弱视4.3%,严重的上睑下垂患者弱视发病率更高,视轴遮盖者(OA)占76%,而视轴未遮盖者只占22%。在视轴遮盖的单侧眼睑下垂患者,散光屈光参差性弱视发生率更高,在双侧眼睑下垂至少1眼视轴遮盖者,球镜屈光参差性弱视发生率更高。无论单侧和双侧上睑下垂,如果有视轴遮盖,则SDA比较多见。结论:由于屈光参差性弱视比SDA发生率更高,关注导致的弱视所有原因对于预防儿童上睑下垂所致的弱视极其重要。
