The Prevalence of Psychosom.tic Sym.tom. and Spirituality Levels am.ng University Students in South Jordan

Psychosom.tic sym.tom. are present in various stages of life. University students have also m.nifested such sym.tom., which were also found to be linked to the level of spirituality affecting physical and psychological well-being. This study aim. to exam.ne whether spirituality can predict the presence of psychosom.tic sym.tom. by investigating the relationship between the prevalence of psychosom.tic sym.tom. and the level of spirituality am.ng university students in South Jordan. An exploratory cross-sectional design involving convenience sam.les and self-adm.nistered questionnaires using the twelveitem.general health questionnaire including spirituality-based item. were used to collect data for this study. A total of 1269 com.leted the study questionnaire. Students’ responses indicated various psychosom.tic sym.tom. causing issues to better academ.c achievem.nt, including students’ feeling of uselessness, followed by their lack of happiness, inability to m.ke decisions and solve problem., and lack of concentration on what they are doing. They considered spirituality as an im.ortant part of their life. Lower scores on general health questionnaire were observed to have higher scores on spirituality item. indicating that students with better spirituality practices have less psychological sym.tom.. Based on the findings of this study, the level of spirituality influences the prevalence of psychosom.tic sym.tom.. Conducting educational program. to im.rove the spiritual well-being of students could be beneficial. Further, it is im.ortant that students’ affairs board at the university perform.proper assessm.nt and interventions to im.rove the spirituality level to decrease the im.act of psychosom.tic sym.tom. am.ng students.

We investigate the im.act of the m.dified gravity(m.G)field and the quintessence scalar field on horizon evolution,black hole(BH)shadow and the weak gravitational lensing around a static spherically sym.etric *** first begin to write the BH m.tric associated with the m.G param.ter and quintessence scalar *** then determ.ne the BH shadow and obtain num.rical solutions for the photon sphere and shadow *** show that the m.G(α)and the quintessence(c)param.ters have a significant im.act on the BH shadow and photon *** on the analysis,we further show that the com.ined effects of the m.G param.ter and quintessence field can increase the values of BH shadow and photon sphere *** also obtain constraints on the BH param.ters by applying the observational data of Sgr A^(★)and m.7^(★).Finally,we consider the weak deflection angle of BH within the context of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem.GBT)and show that the com.ined effects of the m.G and quintessence param.ters do m.ke the value of the deflection angle increase,and find this rem.rkable property is in good agreem.nt with the physical m.aning of both param.ters that can m.intain the strong gravitational field in the surrounding environm.nt of a BH.

Intrusion detection system. (IDSs) are deployed to detect anom.lies in real tim.. They classify a network’s incom.ng traffic as benign or anom.lous (attack). An efficient and robust IDS in software-defined networks is an inevitable com.onent of network security. The m.in challenges of such an IDS are achieving zero or extrem.ly low false positive rates and high detection rates. Internet of Things (IoT) networks run by using devices with m.nim.l resources. This situation m.kes deploying traditional IDSs in IoT networks unfeasible. m.chine learning (m.) techniques are extensively applied to build robust IDSs. m.ny researchers have utilized different m. m.thods and techniques to address the above challenges. The developm.nt of an efficient IDS starts with a good feature selection process to avoid overfitting the m. m.del. This work proposes a m.ltiple feature selection process followed by classification. In this study, the Software-defined networking (SDN) dataset is used to train and test the proposed m.del. This m.del applies m.ltiple feature selection techniques to select high-scoring features from.a set of features. Highly relevant features for anom.ly detection are selected on the basis of their scores to generate the candidate dataset. m.ltiple classification algorithm. are applied to the candidate dataset to build m.dels. The proposed m.del exhibits considerable im.rovem.nt in the detection of attacks with high accuracy and low false positive rates, even with a few features selected.

Correlation between structural phase transition and physical properties of Co^(2+)/Gd^(3+)co-substituted copper ferrite

The doping of the spinel ferrites with selective cations usually im.roves the properties of the parent *** effect of Co^(2+)/Gd^(3+)co-substitution on the m.crostructure,optical,and m.gnetic properties of Cu1-xCoxFe2-xGdxO4 prepared by the citrate-nitrate auto-com.ustion synthesis was *** of the sam.les was perform.d with powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),Ram.n and Fouriertransform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,field-em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy,X-ray energydispersive spectroscopy,UV-Vis spectroscopy,and a vibrating sam.le *** results of XRD,Ram.n,and FTIR analysis show a gradual structural phase transition from.a tetragonal(I41/am.)structure to a cubic(Fd3m.*** bandgap energy of the studied sam.les is in a range of 1.57-1.75 eV with a m.nim.m.in sam.le x=0.06 and then *** investigations show that the presence of Co^(2+)/Gd^(3+)cations in an octahedral site of the copper ferrite structure could increase saturation m.gnetization and coercive field from.567.9 Oe and 23.62 em./g to 929.4 Oe and 28.27 em./g,respectively.

Role of Air Staging in a Batch-Type Fixed Bed Biom.ss Com.ustor under Constant Prim.ry Air

Staged com.ustion of biom.ss is the m.st suitable therm.-chem.cal conversion for achieving lower gaseous em.ssions and higher fuel conversion *** a staged fixed bed com.ustion of biom.ss,com.ustion air is supplied in two *** the first stage,prim.ry air is provided below the fuel,whereas in the later stage,secondary air is supplied in the freeboard *** available literature on the effects of air staging(secondary air location) at a constant prim.ry air flow rate on com.ustion characteristics in a batch-type fixed bed com.ustor is lim.ted and hence warrants further *** study resolves the effect of air staging,by varying the location of secondary air in the freeboard at five secondary to total air ratios in a batch-type fixed bed *** are reported for the effects of these controlled param.ters on fuel conversion rate,overall gaseous em.ssions(CO_(2),CO and NO_x) and tem.erature *** fuel used throughout was densified hardwood *** show that a prim.ry freeboard length(distance between fuel bed top and secondary air injection) of200 m. has higher fuel conversion rates and tem.eratures as well as lower CO em.ssions,at a secondary to total air ratio of 0.75 as com.ared to prim.ry freeboard length of 300 ***,NO_x em.ssions were found to be lower for a prim.ry freeboard length of 300 m. as com.ared to 200 *** increase in secondary to total air ratio from.0.33 to 0.75 resulted in higher freeboard tem.eratures and lower CO as well as NO_x *** outcom.s of this study will be helpful in the effective design of com.ercial scale biom.ss com.ustors for m.re efficient and environm.ntally friendly com.ustion.

Neuroim.ging has em.rged over the last few decades as a crucial tool in diagnosing alzheim.r’s disease(AD).m.ld cognitive im.airm.nt(m.I)is a condition that falls between the spectrum.of norm.l cognitive function and ***,previous studies have m.inly used handcrafted features to classify m.I,AD,and norm.l control(NC)*** paper focuses on using gray m.tter(Gm.scans obtained through m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)for the diagnosis of individuals with m.I,AD,and *** im.rove classification perform.nce,we developed two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation(i.e.,shear range,rotation,zoom.range,channel shift).The first approach is a deep Siam.se network(DSN),and the second approach involves using a cross-dom.in strategy with custom.zed *** perform.d experim.nts on the alzheim.r’s Disease Neuroim.ging Initiative(ADNI)dataset to evaluate the perform.nce of our proposed *** experim.ntal results dem.nstrate superior perform.nce in classifying the three binary classification tasks:NC ***,NC ***,and m.I ***,we achieved a classification accuracy of 97.68%,94.25%,and 92.18%for the three cases,*** study proposes two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation to accurately diagnose m.I,AD,and norm.l control individuals using Gm.*** findings provide prom.sing results for future research and clinical applications in the early detection and diagnosis of AD.

Intra-tum.r heterogeneity is now arguably one of the m.st-studied topics in tum.r biology,as it represents a m.jor obstacle to effective cancer *** tum.r cells are highly diverse at genetic,epigenetic,and phenotypic levels,intra-tum.r heterogeneity can be assum.d as an im.ortant contributing factor to the nullification of chem.therapeutic effects,and recurrence of the *** on the role of heterogeneous subpopulations of cancer cells with varying cell-cycle dynam.cs and behavior during cancer progression and treatm.nt;herein,we aim.to establish a com.rehensive definition for adaptation of neoplastic cells against *** discuss two parallel and yet distinct subpopulations of tum.r cells that play pivotal roles in reducing the effects of chem.therapy:"resistant"and"tolerant"***,this review also highlights the im.act of the quiescent phase of the cell cycle as a survival m.chanism.for cancer *** understanding the m.chanism. under-lying the quiescence,it provides an insightful perspective on cancer stem.cells(CsCs)and their dual and intertwined functions based on their cell cycle state in response to ***-over,CSCs,epithelial-m.senchym.l transform.d cells,circulating tum.r cells(CTCs),and dissem.nated tum.r cells(DTCs),which are m.stly in a quiescent state of the cell cycle are proved to have m.ltiple biological links and can be im.licated in our viewpoint of cell cycle heterogeneity in ***,increasing our knowledge of cell cycle heterogeneity is a key to identifying new therapeutic solutions,and this em.rging concept m.y provide us with new opportunities to prevent the dreadful cancer recurrence.
