Gamma secretase(Gs)is.an intramembranous enzyme that acts on the amyloid precursor protein and Notch inside lipid *** enzyme is responsible for amyloid-𝛽propagation,one of the well-known causes of Alzheimer’s ***,the effects of lipids on Gs.activity and structural dynamics.are ***,in this study,we performed coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations to probe the effects of five individual lipids on *** lipids included 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine(POPE),1-palmitoyl2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(POPC),1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-phosphatidylcholine(DOPC),2-dimyristoyl-snglycero-3-phosphocholine(DMPC),and 1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(DLPC).These lipids.are structurally characterized by different heads(i.e.,NH_(3)[PE]for POPE ***_(3)[PC]for POPC),number of double bonds(one for POPC *** for DOPC),and alkyl tail chain lengths(16:1/18:1 for DOPC vs.14:0/14:0 for DMPC vs.12:0/12:0 for DLPC).This indicates distinct microenvironments.and adjus.able structural elements for catalytic function when Gs is *** results revealed that the presence of more unsaturated bonds in DOPC than in POPC resulted in greater Gs ***,lipids with short alkyl tail chains or with PC heads instead of PE heads had improved mobility of the sixth transmembrane helix of Gs,which is responsible for the considerable active site flexibility and presenilin 1 subunit *** length of the DMPC alkyl tail chain was between that of DOPC and DLPC because the up-down and cross-correlation motions of Gs in DMPC was the lowest among the three lipids.and Gs mobility in DMPC was the lowest among all five *** may be because the alkyl tail chain length(i.e.,3.8 nm thickness of the DMPC bilayer)was suitable for Gs embedding,thereby restraining more Gs motions than that of the long(DOPC)or short lipids(DLPC).Collectively,these results indicated that Gs.activity can be modulated through changes in con

Biomass has become of recent interest as.a raw material for‘green’graphenic carbon(GC)since it promotes.an environmentally friendly ***,we investigate a single pyrolysis route to synthesize GC from coconut shells which provides.a simple method and can produce a high yield,thus being convenient for large-s.ale *** pyrolysis involves.a stepped holding process.at 350℃ for 1 h and at 650℃ or 900℃ for 3 *** GC sample resulted at the 900℃ pyrolysis has.a thinner sheet,a less porous structure,a higher C/O ratio,and an enhanced electrical conductivity than those pyrolyzed at 650℃.The addition of Na3PO4 catalyst has no signiﬁ-cant effects on the GC structures obtained by this *** single pyrolysis route generates thinner GC sheets compared to the two-step heat treatment followed by the liquid phase exfoliation(LPE)***,the latter method offers.a formation of clean samples with a porous or holey feature which has potential for advanced energy-storage applications.

shear wave velocity model using HVsR inversion beneath Bandar Lampung City

The horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVsR)method has been used to characterize site-effect parameters that are indispensable in seismic hazard and risk-reduction studies in urban areas.and rapid land-use *** method is widely used because it is the cheapest and simplest geophysical method for the acquisition and processing *** subsequent developments,the HVsR method has been widely used to determine elastic rock parameters,particularly shear wave velocity(v_(s)),through the HVsR curve inversion ***,the v_(s)structural model can be used to delineate the presence of complex geological structures,particularly faults.and sedimentary *** Lampung is.a city in Lampung Province with many fault structures.and groundwater basins to the *** are 83 HVsR measurement points.around Bandar Lampung for delineating the presence of fault structures.and groundwater *** produced the HVsR curve from the measurement results.and then performed an inversion process using the particle s.arm optimization algorithm to obtain v_(s)for the depth ***,from this profile,we produced a two-dimensional(2D)lateral and vertical *** mean v_(s)value was calculated from all the measurement points.and we found stiff soil layers reaching depths of approximately 5 m,with a value of v_(s)s.a bedrock layer with a velocity exceeding 1250 m/s was visible at a depth of 100 *** on the 2D model,the v_(s)structure shows that the city of Bandar Lampung is divided into two zones,with a NW-sE *** north-middle-eastern part of the city consists of harder *** harder rock is characterized by extremely high v_(s)values,s.arting from a depth of 50 *** contrast,the south-middle-west exhibits.a low-moderate v_(s.anomaly associated with groundwater basins sW of the *** the 2D v_(s)structural model,fault structures can be found along the city,characterized by a contrast of v_(s)values from low to medium and from me

Artificial Intelligence Based Meteorological Parameter Forecasting for Optimizing Response of Nuclear Emergency Decision support system

This paper presents.a novel artificial intelligence (AI) based approach to predict crucial meteorological parameters such as temperature,pressure,and wind speed,typically calculated from computationally intensive weather res.arch and forecasting (WRF) *** meteorological data is indispensable for simulating the release of radioactive effluents,especially in dispersion modeling for nuclear emergency decision support *** of meteorological conditions during nuclear emergencies using the conventional WRF model is very complex and ***,a new artificial neural network (ANN) based technique was proposed as.a viable alternative for meteorological prediction.A multi-input multi-output neural network was trained using historical site-specific meteorological data to forecast the meteorological *** evaluation of this technique was conducted to test its performance in forecasting various parameters including atmospheric pressure,temperature,and wind speed components in both East-West and North-south *** performance of developed network was evaluated on an unknown dataset,and acquired results.are within the acceptable range for all meteorological *** show that ANNs possess the capability to forecast meteorological parameters,such as temperature and pressure,at multiple s.atial locations within a grid with high accuracy,utilizing input data from a single ***,accuracy is slightly compromised when predicting wind speed *** mean square error (RMsE) was utilized to report the accuracy of predicted results,with values of 1.453℃for temperature,77 Pa for predicted pressure,1.058 m/s for the wind speed of U-component and 0.959 m/s for the wind speed of *** conclusion,this.approach offers.a precise,efficient,and wellinformed method for administrative decision-making during nuclear emergencies.

This study explores the possibility of discovering H±through its bosonic decays,i.e.,H±→W±φ(whereφ=h or A),within the Type-I two Higgs doublet model(2HDM).The main objective is to demonstrate the available parameter s.ace after applying recent experimental and theoretical exclusion *** suggest that mH±=150 GeV is the most probable mass for the H±→W±φdecay channel in pp collisions.at s1/2=8,13,and 14 *** also report on the application of a modern machine learning approach to a multivariate technique for heavy charged Higgs production in association with a single top quark through weak interaction to demonstrate its observability in comparison with the most relevant s.andard Model backgrounds using the neural networks of boosted decision Tree(BDT),likelihood(LH),and multilayer perceptron(MLP).

The software development process mostly depends on accurately identifying both essential and optional ***,user needs.are typically expressed in free-form language,requiring significant time and human resources to trans.ate these into clear functional and non-functional *** address this challenge,various machine learning(ML)methods have been explored to automate the unders.anding of these requirements.aiming to reduce time and human ***,existing techniques often struggle with complex instructions.and large-s.ale *** our study,we introduce an innovative approach known as the Functional and Non-functional Requirements Classifier(FNRC).By combining the traditional random forest algorithm with the Accuracy sliding Window(AsW)technique,we develop optimal sub-ensembles that surpass the initial classifier’s.accuracy while using fewer *** results demonstrate that our FNRC methodology performs robustly across different datasets.achieving a balanced Precision of 75%on the PROMIsE dataset and an impressive Recall of 85%on the CCHIT *** datasets consistently maintain an F-measure around 64%,highlighting FNRC’s.ability to effectively balance precision and recall in diverse *** findings contribute to more accurate and efficient software development processes,increasing the probability of achieving successful project outcomes.

We investigated spinel chalcogenides HgLa_(2)(s/se)_(4)by using density function theory,and scrutinized the structural,optical,electrical,mechanical and thermoelectric transport characteristics of HgLa_(2)(s/se)_(4)spinel *** enthalpy of formation,energy of cohesion,and energy volume optimum plots were used to obtain the s.ability as well as the perfect ground s.ate of these *** ductility of these materials was the best illustrated with the help of Poisson's.and Pugh's *** band gap results were obtained using Trans.and Blaha modified Becke-Johanson potential(TB-mBJ).Both the materials present semi-conducting nature with direct band gap equal to 1.449 and 0.892 eV respectively for HgLa_(2)s_(4)and HgLa_(2)se_(4).Calculations were also made for optical characteristics with the values of dielectric function,absorption coefficient,optical conductivity,reflectivity,and refractive *** to the findings,both of these materials.are suitable for infrared optoelectronic *** materials were found to have promising optoelectronic and thermoelectric applications.after their optical properties.and transport aspects were *** tiny levels of temperature conductivities,subs.antial am ounts of power conductivities,the figure of merit(more than unity),as well as seebecs coefficients.all point to the potential use of both the materials in thermoelectric power generators.

Low molecular aromatic compounds.are detrimental to the enzymatic hydrolysis of ***,the specific role of their functional groups remains ***,a series of nine aromatic compounds.as.additives were tested to unders.and their effect on the hydrolysis yield of microcrys.alline cellulose(MCC)and alkaline pretreated wheat *** on the results,the inhibition of aldehyde groups on MCC was greater than that of carboxyl groups,whereas for the alkaline pretreated wheat straw case,the inhibitory effect of aldehyde groups was lower than that of carboxyl *** methoxyl groups of aromatic compounds reduced the inhibitory ef-fect on enzymatic hydrolysis of both *** inhibition of aromatic compounds on MCC hydrolysis was detected in comparison with the alkaline pretreated wheat straw,indicating that the substrate lignin can offset the inhibition to a certain *** all aromatic com-pounds,syringaldehyde with one aldehyde group and two methoxyl groups improved the glucan conversion of the alkaline pretreated wheat straw.
