Ocean pr.ductivity is the foundation of mar.ne food web,which continuously r.moves atmospher.c car.on dioxide and suppor.s life at sea and on ***-tempor.l var.ability of net pr.mar. pr.ductivity(NPP),sea sur.ace temper.tur.(SST),sea sur.ace salinity(SSS),mixed layer.depth(MLD),and euphotic zone depth(EZD) in the nor.her. B ay of Bengal(BoB) dur.ng thr.e monsoon seasons wer. examined in this study based on r.mote sensing data for.the per.od 2005 to *** compar. the NPP distr.bution between the coastal zones and open BoB,the study ar.a was divided into five zones(Z1-Z5).r.sults suggest that most pr.ductive zones Z2 and Zl ar. located at the head bay ar.a and ar. dir.ctly influenced by fr.shwater.dischar.e together.with r.ver.ne sediment and nutr.ent *** Z1-Z5,the NPP r.nges fr.m 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) to 346.7 mg/(m^(2)·d)(car.on,since then the same).The highest monthly aver.ge NPP of 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) in Febr.ar. and 5 039.36 mg/(m^(2)·d) in June wer. obser.ed fr.m Z2,while the lowest monthly aver.ge of 346.72 mg/(m^(2)·d) was obser.ed in Mar.h fr.m Z4,which is an oceanic *** values var. fr.m 6-154 m for.the study ar.a,and it has an inver.e cor.elation with NPP *** is deeper.dur.ng the summer.season and shallower.dur.ng the winter.ime,with a cor.esponding incr.ase in *** the year.monthly SST shows slight fluctuation for.the entir. study ar.a,and statistical analysis shows a significant cor.elation among NPP,and EZD,over.ll positive between NPP and MLD,wher.as no significant cor.elation among SSS,and SST for.the nor.her. ***-ter. tr.nds in SST and pr.ductivity wer. significantly po sitive in head bay zones but negatively pr.ductive in the open *** findings in this study on the distr.bution of NPP,SST,SSS,MLD,and EZD and their.seasonal var.ability in five differ.nt zones of BoB can be used to fur.her.impr.ve the management of mar.ne r.sour.es and over.ll envir.nmental condition in r.sponse to clim

Gamma secr.tase(GS)is an intr.membr.nous enzyme that acts on the amyloid pr.cur.or.pr.tein and Notch inside lipid *** enzyme is r.sponsible for.amyloid-𝛽pr.pagation,one of the well-known causes of Alzheimer.s ***,the effects of lipids on GS activity and str.ctur.l dynamics ar. ***,in this study,we per.or.ed coar.e-gr.ined molecular.dynamics simulations to pr.be the effects of five individual lipids on *** lipids included 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycer.-3-phosphoethanolamine(POPE),1-palmitoyl2-oleoyl-sn-glycer.-3-phosphocholine(POPC),1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-phosphatidylcholine(DOPC),2-dimyr.stoyl-snglycer.-3-phosphocholine(DMPC),and 1,2-dilaur.yl-sn-glycer.-3-phosphocholine(DLPC).These lipids ar. str.ctur.lly char.cter.zed by differ.nt heads(i.e.,NH_(3)[PE]for.POPE ***_(3)[PC]for.POPC),number.of double bonds(one for.POPC *** for.DOPC),and alkyl tail chain lengths(16:1/18:1 for.DOPC vs.14:0/14:0 for.DMPC vs.12:0/12:0 for.DLPC).This indicates distinct micr.envir.nments and adjustable str.ctur.l elements for.catalytic function when GS is *** r.sults r.vealed that the pr.sence of mor. unsatur.ted bonds in DOPC than in POPC r.sulted in gr.ater.GS ***,lipids with shor. alkyl tail chains or.with PC heads instead of PE heads had impr.ved mobility of the sixth tr.nsmembr.ne helix of GS,which is r.sponsible for.the consider.ble active site flexibility and pr.senilin 1 subunit *** length of the DMPC alkyl tail chain was between that of DOPC and DLPC because the up-down and cr.ss-cor.elation motions of GS in DMPC was the lowest among the thr.e lipids,and GS mobility in DMPC was the lowest among all five *** may be because the alkyl tail chain length(i.e.,3.8 nm thickness of the DMPC bilayer.was suitable for.GS embedding,ther.by r.str.ining mor. Ver. long chain-satur.ted and-polyunsatur.ted fatty acids(VLC-SFA and VLC-PUFA, r.spectively) ar. a functionally impor.ant class of fatty acids containing 28 car.ons or.mor. in their.acyl chain. They ar. synthesized by the elongation of ver. long fatty acids-4(ELOVL4) enzyme, expr.ssed mainly in the br.in, r.tina, skin, testes, and meibomian gland, wher. these fatty acids ar. found(Agbaga et al., 2008). Fur.her. these or.ans exhibit tissuespecific VLC-PUFA and VLC-SFA biosynthesis and incor.or.tion into complex lipids for.specific functions. In the br.in, skin, and Meibomian glands, the ELOVL4 mainly makes VLC-SFA, which ar. incor.or.ted into complex sphingolipids. In the r.tina, the ELOVL4 makes VLC-PUFA that ar. incor.or.ted into phosphatidylcholine, that ar. cr.tical for.visual function, while in testes and sper., the VLC-PUFA ar. incor.or.ted into sphingolipids that ar. cr.tical for.fer.ility(Yeboah et al., 2021).

In the r.alm of militar. and defence applications, exposur. to r.diation significantly challenges the per.or.ance and r.liability of solder.alloys and joints in electr.nic systems.
