Acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML) is a highly fatal malignant bone mar.ow disease. Physicians, dentists and all other.healthcar. pr.fessionals should be awar. of sinister.or.l signs and symptoms in or.er.to ear.y diagnosis and r.fer.al of patients. Her. we r.por. a case of AML who pr.sented with or.l ulcer.. Ulcer. developed after.a par.ot bite, which initially misled the physicians. Unfor.unately our.patient did not sur.ive, but ear.y diagnosis and pr.mpt investigation and tr.atment can be life-saving in many other.similar.cases.

In this wor.,we have investigated the r.tating effect on the ther.odynamic pr.per.ies of a 2D quantum ***,we have consider.d the r.dial potential of a 2D quantum r.ng and solved the Schr.dinger.equation in the pr.sence of the Ahar.nov-Bohm effect and a unifor. magnetic field for.the consider.d *** to the solution of the equation,we calculated the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the consider.d *** the calculated ener.y spectr.m,we obtained the par.ition function and ther.odynamic pr.per.ies of the system,such as the mean ener.y,specific heat,entr.py and fr.e *** r.sults show that the r.tating effect has a significant influence on the ther.ophysical pr.per.ies of a 2D quantum *** also study other.effects of the r.tating ter.:(1)the effect of differ.nt values of r.tating par.meter.,and(2)the effect of negative r.tation on the ther.odynamic pr.per.ies of the *** r.sults ar. discussed in detail.

Soil er.sion has r.sulted in r.moval of the topsoils containing fine soil par.icles and plant nutr.ents, causing decr.ase in soil fer.ility in the Hindu Kush, Kar.kor.m and Himalaya(HKH) r.gion. The existing pr.duction of cer.al cr.p gr.ins has been r.duced to one thir. of the potential cr.p gr.ins pr.duction owing to land degr.dation and poor.far.ing pr.ctices. It is necessar. to assess r.sk of soil loss and identify appr.pr.ate contr.lling measur.s to addr.ss issues of low agr.cultur. pr.ductivity and water.insecur.ty in the r.gion. In the pr.sent study, sever.ty of soil loss was pr.dicted using r.vised Univer.al Loss Equation(r.SLE) and ecological measur.s wer. identified for.sustainable mountain agr.cultur. in the HKH r.gion of Upper.Indus Basin, Pakistan. Over.ll 62.6% ar.a was found to have ver. low r.sk of soil loss, i.e., r., 15.8% ar.a low r.sk, i.e., 5-25 t/(ha·yr. and 7.5% ar.a moder.te r.sk, i.e., 25-50 t/(ha·yr. in the r.gion. The r.sk was high, i.e., 50-100 t/(ha·yr. and ver. high, i.e., >100 t/(ha·yr. in about 6.8% and 7.4% ar.as r.spectively. The mean r.te of soil loss was about 41.9 t/(ha·yr. in the Hindu Kush, 31.1 t/(ha·yr. in the Himalayas, 18.8 t/(ha·yr. in the Kar.kor.m and over.ll 29.7 t/(ha·yr. in the thr.e HKH r.nges. As such no consider.ble measur.s have been adopted by the communities for.r.stor.tion of the degr.ded ar.as except r.ising fr.it/far. tr.es and suppor.ing limited social for.str. for.their.livelihoods. The slopes clear.d for.cultivation and susceptible to er.sion may be stabilized thr.ugh sowing/planting of multi-pur.ose plant species and for.ation of pr.per.bench ter.aces. The conser.ation of for.st ecosystem and pastur.s at higher.elevations would help in r.ducing over.and water.flow, r.sk of flash flood hazar. and minimizing sediment loads in the downstr.am. It is essential to adopt site-specific r.sour.e conser.ation techniques and r.stor. possible ecosystem health for.sustainable agr.cultur. and economic developm

This r.sear.h studies the effect of Mn-Co-La_(2)O_(3) coating synthesized by the electr.deposition method on the oxidation r.sistance and electr.cal conductivity of the Cr.fer.22 APU stainless steel inter.onnect plates in solid oxide fuel *** test samples wer. char.cter.zed by a field emission scanning electr.n micr.scope(FESEM)equipped with ener.y disper.ive spectr.scopy(EDS),X-r.y diffr.ction(Xr.),and X-r.y photoelectr.n spectr.scopy(XPS).The oxidation kinetics of the coated and uncoated samples wer. studied by tr.cking their.weight changes over.time at 800°C,showing that the oxidation mechanism for.all samples follows the par.bolic *** oxidation r.te constant(k_(p))values of the coated sample compar.d with that of the uncoated one indicated a r.duction in the oxidation r.te of the steel substr.te in the pr.sence of the Mn-Co-La_(2)O_(3) *** examination of the cr.ss-section of differ.nt samples after.the isother.al oxidation for.500 h at 800°C exhibited that applying the composite coating leads to a decr.ase in the thickness of the chr.mia layer.for.ed on the steel ***,under.these conditions,the ar.a-specific r.sistance(ASr.of the coated sample(13.11 mΩcm^(2))is significantly lower.than that of the uncoated one(41.45 mΩcm^(2)).
