To coordinate the resonant wavelength of the plasmonic nanoparticles(NPs),the emission band of the reduced graphene oxide(rGO)photodetector at the NIR-region is crucial for the optimal plasmon-enhanced luminescence in the *** contrast to monometallic NPs,where limits the dimensions and extended resonant wavelength,we integrated an Au-Ag bimetallic NPs(BMNPs)to enable resonance tuning at the longer wavelength at the excitation source of 785 *** features showed an increase in radiative recombination rates as well as the quantum yield efficiency of the *** BMNPs were produced from the dewetting process of 600℃and 500℃,both at 1 min after the deposition thickness layer of Au(8 nm)and Ag(10 nm)on the Si substrate using the electron-beam evaporation *** BMNPs-rGO photodetector exhibited the responsivity of 2.25 A·W^(–1),Jones of specific detectivity of 2.45×10^(11)Jones,and external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 356%.The rise time and fall time for the photodetector were 32 ns and 186 ns,*** work provided an essential information to enable the versatile plasmon-enhanced application in 2-dimensional(2D)material optoelectronic devices.

Three different aquatic ecosystems(an urban pond,Kelana Jaya Pond;a polluted river,Sepang River;and the intertidal and offshore areas of the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia)with different sets of ecological backgrounds and human activities were reviewed and assessed for the levels of Cu and Zn contamination with special reference to those found in polluted sediments collected from the Sepang *** discussion on the contamination levels of Cu and Zn in the aquatic environment of Peninsular Malaysia was based on a comparison of the metal contamination of 4 kinds of aquatic *** comparison of 4 different areas was based on ① total concentrations of 2 metals;② the concentrations and percentages of the nonresistant(EFLE,acid-reducible and oxidisable-organic)and resistant geochemical fractions;and ③ correlation coefficients(R-values)based on data of 4 areas separately and a combination of 4 *** Sepang River recorded nonresistant fractions of 63.1% for Zn and 55.8% for Cu in addition to slightly lower metal concentrations when compared to those(60%-70%)reported before the shutting down of the piggery activities in that *** nonresistant metal percentages(55%-63%)indicated that the metal concentrations were still dominated by anthropogenic sources since nonresistant fraction of metals were mostly contributed by anthropogenic *** positive results from the four different aquatic environments assessed here provided strong evidence to show that Malaysia's aquatic environment had received anthropogenic Cu and *** present study also showed that the percentage of the nonresistant fraction and the R-values based on correlation analysis of Cu and Zn could be used as indicators of Cu and Zn pollution in the Malaysian aquatic *** on the present data,the correlation coefficients(R-values)are potential indicators of EFLE Cu and acid-reducible Cu of the *** use of R-values as indicators of metal pollution is suggested and it

Granitoids and orthogneisses(1.7 Ga)from the northern part of the Banded Gneissic Complex(BGC-II domain),Aravalli Craton(NW India)are geochemically analyzed to understand the geodynamic condition and crustal evolution *** samples are metaluminous to peraluminous(molar A/CNK:0.74±2.12),and characterized by Eu-anomaly ranging from 0.17 to 1.06,Fe_(2)O_(3)^(T)/(Fe_(2)O_(3)^(T)+MgO)from 0.8 to 0.9 and high magmatic zircon saturation temperature(>830°C)which are the features suggestive of A-type granite *** discrimination diagrams classify the samples as post-collisional extensional A2-type *** characteristics along with trace element ratios[(Y/Nb)_(N)=0.15 to 4.33(avg.0.76),(Th/Nb)_(N)=4.63 to 255.47(avg.63.13),(Th/Ta)_(N)=1.37 to 9.84(avg.8.86),(Ce/Pb)_(N)=0.05 to 3.05(avg.1.43)]indicate that the rocks were derived from a plagioclase-rich and garnet-free crustal source under lowpressure ***,it is also proposed that tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite(TTG)rocks which occur dominantly in southern Rajasthan(BGC-I)are precursors and their partial melting led to the generation of the studied A-type granite *** studied samples also bear close geochemical similarity with A-type granites of similar age(1.7 Ga)near the Sakhun-Ladera region of northern *** studied A-type granites are believed to be coeval to similar aged A-type granites of the Khetri and Alwar sub-basins of the North Delhi Fold Belt(NDFB).They are comparable in age and magmatic history to recorded A-type magmatism in North America and parts of the Chinese *** large geographical extents of synchronous A-type granites are proposed to be related to the Columbia Supercontinent assembly(ca.1.7 Ga;postcollisional granites).Thus,based on the studied extensional granites,we surmise that BGC-II was part of the Columbia Supercontinent.

Sentiment analysis is becoming increasingly important in today’s digital age, with social media being a significantsource of user-generated content. The development of sentiment lexicons that can support languages other thanEnglish is a challenging task, especially for analyzing sentiment analysis in social media reviews. Most existingsentiment analysis systems focus on English, leaving a significant research gap in other languages due to limitedresources and tools. This research aims to address this gap by building a sentiment lexicon for local languages,which is then used with a machine learning algorithm for efficient sentiment analysis. In the first step, a lexiconis developed that includes five languages: Urdu, Roman Urdu, Pashto, Roman Pashto, and English. The sentimentscores from SentiWordNet are associated with each word in the lexicon to produce an effective sentiment score. Inthe second step, a naive Bayesian algorithm is applied to the developed lexicon for efficient sentiment analysis ofRoman Pashto. Both the sentiment lexicon and sentiment analysis steps were evaluated using information retrievalmetrics, with an accuracy score of 0.89 for the sentiment lexicon and 0.83 for the sentiment analysis. The resultsshowcase the potential for improving software engineering tasks related to user feedback analysis and productdevelopment.

Nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide（NrGO）sheets decorated with Co（OH）;nanoflakes were prepared by a single-step hydrothermal *** morphological and structural characterizations of as synthesized Nr GO@Co（OH）;nanoflakes were performed by field emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）,EDX-mapping and X-ray diffraction（XRD）.Nr GO@Co（OH）;nanoflakes modified glassy carbon electrode（GCE）was used for electrochemical sensing of dopamine in neutral *** nanocomposite modified electrode showed enhanced electrochemical sensing ability for the detection of dopamine and the limit of detection（Lo D）was found to be 0.201μM with a sensitivity value of 0.0286±0.002 m A m M;.Interference studies revealed that Nr GO@Co（OH）;─GCE endow excellent selectivity for DA detection even in the presence of higher concentration of common co-existing physiological interfering ***,proposed sensor demonstrated excellent performance in urine samples with promising reproducibility and stability.

Zinc and Copper Concentrations in Two Species of Intertidal Crabs from the Middle of the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia

A study on Zn and Cu concentrations in 2 species of intertidal crabs,namely Uca annulipes and Dotilla myctiroides collected from the intertidal coastal area of Selangor(5 sites) and Negeri Sembilan(3 sites),west coast of Peninsular Malaysia,was carried *** various localized sources of Zn and Cu discharges towards both the crab species were mentioned.A comparative study between the 2 crab species also revealed that the concentrations of Zn and Cu were significantly(P<0.05) higher in *** when compared to *** difference was related to the organic matter percentage in the crabs' microhabitat sediments since metals can be associated with the organic matter of sediments in which they might ***(P<0.05) higher organic matter content was shown in *** sediments when compared to *** sediments for all *** metal and size relationship in the crabs was also *** relationships between Zn and Cu concentrations with body weight and carapace width of *** and *** were significantly(P<0.01 and P<0.05) correlated although the pair wise was weak.

The need to mechanize major field operations that are labor intensive in oil palm industry of Malaysia has led to the study on agricultural machine *** general,study was on machine automation to reduce the number of workers required for harvesting as well as to provide comfortable ergonomic for the operator of oil palm *** objective of the study was to perform interfacing between the oil palm tree and hardware(harvester)as well as to compare the harvesting efficiency between the mechanical and automated *** analysis was calculated based on the D-H configuration for the position and orientation of harvester arm using high resolution webcam and ultrasonic sensor to obtain 3D coordinates required by the D-H *** Circuit Board(PCB)design and fabrication as well as testing and implementation of concept of camera vision operation system for FFB harvester with fully developing a Graphical User Interface(GUI)was conducted to assist the automation of the harvester *** automation of 5DOF manipulator harvester operation proves to be faster than the manually operated mechanical harvester with an approximation of 60 percent significant decrease in speed of the manipulator with 70 percent of accuracy.

SPATIAL VARIATION OF Zn GEOCHEMICAL FRACTIONS IN THE SURFACE SEDIMENTS OF THE STRAITS OF MALACCA: NATURAL OR ANTHROPOGENIC?

Total concentrations of Zn in the sediments of the offshore and intertidal areas of the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia were recently reported in the literaturs. However, total concentrations of metals in the sediment samples do not reflect the portion or carrier phase which is attributable to anthropogenic activities and those of natural origins. In this work, geochemical fraction of Zn in the sediments of the same areas was studied and the potential use of CV as an indicator of Zn pollution was determined. The geochemical study by using sequential extraction technique revealed that nonresistant fraction of the offshore and intertidal sediments (summation of ‘easily or freely leachable and exhangeable (EFLE)’, ‘acid-reducible’ and ‘oxidisable-organic’) covered about 30% and 48% of total zinc concentrations, respectively, in the sediments while most of the total zinc concentrations (offshore: 70%; intertidal: 52%) found in the sediments could be mostly due to natural origins (nonresistant fraction). Thus, the Zn levels in the Straits of Malacca should not pose a risk to the living organisms. Based on Spearman’s correlation coefficients, the source of Zn contamination in the Straits of Malacca was mainly contributed by the intertidal coastal area rather than offshore area. The present study also indicated the coefficient of variation can be used as a potential indicator of total summation of geochemical Zn concentrations in the coastal sediment but of different geochemical of Zn needs further validation.

Kelana Jaya Municipal Park is a popular recreation park in Petaling Jaya. The five lakes, located within the Park, were ex-mining ponds, functioning as flood retention ponds and receiving effluents from nearby human activities mainly from residents and transportation. A study was conducted to determine the distribution and sources of heavy metals (Cd, Cu and Zn) in the sediments of Kelana Jaya Lakes. Concentrations of Cd, Cu, and Zn for surface sediment were determined by using aqua-regia method and sequential extraction technique. Total Cd concentrations ranged from 0.48 μg/g to 2.68 μg/g dry weight (dw) for all lakes. Total Cd concentrations in sediment of all lakes exceeded CCME (Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment, 2001) guidelines. Total Cu concentrations ranged from 7.37 μg/g to 73.6 μg/g (dw). Only Cu concentration in one lake exceeded the CCME guidelines besides having the highest mean concentration among all. Total Zn concentrations ranged from 107 μg/g to 529 μg/g (dw). Again, The Zn concentrations in three lakes were found to exceed CCME guidelines for Zn concentration in freshwater sediment. Geochemical study on sediment revealed that nonresistant fractions for Cd, Cu and Zn for other lakes there were higher than ‘resistant’ fraction. The elevated levels and most percentages (>50%) of nonresistant fractions of Cu and Zn indicated that lakes in the park, especially near oxidation pond and monsoon drains, could have received anthropogenic metals from domestic wastes. Rehabilitation program and regular biomonitoring at Kelana Jaya Lakes are therefore recommended.
