This research uses both three-dimensional(3d)modeling and geologic well control to piece back together the architectural parts of the Late Cretaceous *** goal is to figure out the sizes,directions,locations,and controls of the layers of the fluvial sandstone *** stratigraphy is essential for 3d reservoir modeling and petroleum geology understanding in the Bahga *** purpose of this work is to create a static model that shows the layers and facies distribution in the reservoir *** will use data from nine well logs and 22 seismic lines calibrated by the Abu Roash G Member reservoir core intervals to accomplish *** petrophysical study discovered three parts in the Abu Roash G Member reservoir rock:channel fill that is affected by tides,channel fill that is dominated by tides(intertidal sands),and channel top with lenticular bedded *** model's findings point to the existence of an NNW-oriented sand body,which could be a prime location to produce *** original oil in place(OOIP)is about 3,438,279 Stock Tank Barrels(STB),and the oil reserve reaches up to 1,031,484(STB).Sequence stratigraphic analysis using seismic and well log information(SB)reveals that the Upper Cretaceous AR/G reservoir of the Bahga field is characterized by third-and fourth-order stratigraphic sequences,which are constrained by three Maximum Flooding Surfaces(MFS)and two Sequence *** integration of the derived geological model and sequence stratigraphic results can lower future extraction risk by identifying the locations and trends of the geologic facies with the necessary petrophysical properties for the hydrocarbon accumulations.

Understanding the origins of potential source rocks and unraveling the intricate connections between reservoir oils and their source formations in the Siwa Basin(Western desert,Egypt)necessitate a thorough oil-source correlation *** objective is achieved through a meticulous analysis of well-log responses,Rock-Eval pyrolysis,and biomarker *** analysis of Total Organic Carbon across 31 samples representing Paleozoic formations in the Siwa A-1X well reveals a spectrum of organic richness ranging from 0.17 wt%to 2.04 wt%,thereby highlighting diverse levels of organic content and the presence of both Type II and Type III *** of the fingerprint characteristics of eight samples from the well suggests that the dhiffah Formation comprises a blend of terrestrial and marine organic ***,a significant contribution from more oxidized residual organic matter and gas-prone Type III kerogen is ***,the desouky and Zeitoun formations exhibit mixed organic matter indicative of a transitional environment,and thus featuring a pronounced marine influence within a more reducing setting,which is associated with Type II *** analysis of five oil samples from different wells—SIWA L-1X,SIWA R-3X,SIWA d-1X,PTAH 5X,and PTAH 6X,it is evident that terrestrial organic matter,augmented by considerable marine input,was deposited in an oxidizing environment,and contains Type III *** scrutiny confirms the coexistence of mixed terrestrial organic matter within varying redox *** is the uniformity of identified kerogen Types II and III across all samples,known to have potential for hydrocarbon *** discovery presented in this paper unveils captivating prospects concerning the genesis of oil in the Jurassic Safa reservoir,suggesting potential links to Paleozoic sources or even originating from the Safa Member *** revelations mark a substantial advancement in understanding source

We report on low-cost fabrication and high-energy density of full-cell lithium-ion battery (LIB) ***-hierarchical electrode architectures of Li2SiO3/TiO2@nano-carbon anode (***@nano-C) and high-voltage olivine LiMnPO4@nano-carbon cathode (LMPO@nano-C) are designed for half-and full-system LIB-CR2032 coin cell *** the basis of primary architecture-power-driven LIB geometrics,the structure keys including three-dimensional (3d) modeling superhierarchy,multiscale micro/nano architectures and anisotropic surface heterogeneity affect the buildup design of anode/cathode LIB *** hierarchical electrode surface topologies enable continuous in-/out-flow rates and fast transport pathways of Li+-ions during charge/discharge *** stacked layer configurations of pouch LIB-types lead to excellent charge/discharge rate,and energy density of237.6 Wh *** the most promising LIB-configurations,the high specific energy density of hierarchical pouch battery systems may improve energy storage for long-driving range of electric ***,the anisotropic alignments of hierarchical electrode architectures in the large-scale LIBs provide proof of excellent capacity storage and outstanding durability and *** full-system LIB-CR2032 coin cell models maintain high specific capacity of～89.8%within a long-term life period of2000 cycles,and average Coulombic efficiency of99.8%at 1C rate for future configuration of LIB manufacturing and commercialization challenges.

Efficacy of the combination of tadalafil and tamsulosin versus tadalafil alone as a medical expulsive therapy for stone L1/3 ureter 10 mm or less: A prospective comparative placebo-controlled study

Background The lifetime occurrence of urinary stones is approximately 1%–15%,and the peak age of occurrence is 30 *** one fifths of urinary tract stones are found in the ureter,of which two thirds are in the distal *** drugs,including phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors(PdE5Is)andα-blockers,are used to relax the smooth muscles in medical expulsive therapy(MET).We aimed to compare the combination of tadalafil and tamsulosin versus tadalafil alone as MET for stones in the L1/3 ureter of 10 mm or *** and methods A total of 150 patients with L1/3 ureteric stones measuring 10 mm or less were enrolled in the study and randomly assigned to one of 3 equal groups using a computer-generated random *** in group A prescribed tadalafil 10 mg/***,those in group B were prescribed tamsulosin 0.4 mg and tadalafil 10 mg/d,whereas those in group C received a placebo once *** expulsion rate and pain recurrence were evaluated after 14 *** The stone expulsion rate was significantly higher in the tadalafil and tamsulosin groups and the tamsulosin group than in the placebo group in the current study by 68%in the combination group,64%in the tadalafil alone group,and 42%in the placebo group(p=0.019).In the current study,a combination was associated with lower pain recurrence than tadalafil alone or placebo,with means of 1.06,1.9,2.98(with a p value of 0.001).Stone size was not effective in any *** The combination of PdE5Is andα-blockers effectively increases the expulsion of lower ureteric stones(5–10 mm),but with the same effect as PdE5Is alone,with the advantage of decreasing pain *** size did not affect the expulsion rate in patients who received MET for stones less than 1 cm in size.

利用三异辛胺(TOA)纯化Gattar小型试验工厂的高浓度铀溶液(洗脱液的铀浓度7 g·L-1),研究了脉冲萃取柱的性能。利用实验室级脉冲萃取柱进行了实验室规模的溶剂萃取实验和后续实验。结果表明,在室温、p H=1和有机相与水相的比例(VO/VA)约为1.8∶1时,加入二(2-乙基己基)磷酸(d2EHPA)使其与TOA的比例(Vd2EHPA/VTOA)为2∶3,可使萃取克服Cl-的抑制效应,提高效率。将结论用于考察试验工厂级萃取柱的流体力学和传质性能,结果表明用脉冲萃取柱萃取铀可以达到97%的萃取效率,具有可行性。

Maize response to elevated plant density combined with lowered N-fertilizer rate is genotype-dependent

Increasing plant density and improving N fertilizer rate along with the use of high density-tolerant genotypes would lead to maximizing maize(Zea mays L.) grain productivity per unit land area. The objective of this investigation was to match the functions of optimum plant density and adequate nitrogen fertilizer application to produce the highest possible yields per unit area with the greatest maize genotype efficiency. Six maize inbred lines differing in tolerance to low N and high density(d) [three tolerant(T); L-17, L-18, L-53,and three sensitive(S); L-29, L-54, L-55] were chosen for diallel crosses. Parents and crosses were evaluated in the 2012 and 2013 seasons under three plant densities: low(47,600),medium(71,400), and high(95,200) plants ha-1and three N fertilization rates: low(no N addition), medium(285 kg N ha-1) and high(570 kg N ha-1). The T × T crosses were superior to the S × S and T × S crosses under the low N–high d environment in most studied traits across seasons. The relationships between the nine environments and grain yield per hectare(GYPH) showed near-linear regression functions for inbreds L54, L29, and L55 and hybrids L18 × L53 and L18 × L55 with the highest GYPH at a density of47,600 plants ha-1and N rate of 570 kg N ha-1and a curvilinear relationship for inbreds L17, L18, and L53 and the rest of the hybrids with the highest GYPH at a density of95,200 plants ha-1combined with an N rate of 570 kg N ha-1. Cross L17 × L54 gave the highest grain yield in this study under both high N–high-d(19.9 t ha-1) and medium N–high-d environments(17.6 t ha-1).

To paraphrase the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, change is the only constant in construction projects. Changes in scope occur as projects progress from design through practical completion. FIdIC General Conditions Clause 13 [1] is one of the most important terms and implementing. It is also major factor for project success. Once all project parties understand and fairly use this clause, the impact will be minimising the expected disputes by 50% at least. Thus, this paper is considering illustrated variation order clause by flow chart technique to ensure that all the engineers are handling easily those subclasses.

Antifibrotic effect of aloe vera in viral infection-induced hepatic periportal fibrosis

AIM:To investigate the anti-oxidative and anti-fibrotic effects of aloe vera in patients with liver ***:Aloe vera high molecular weight fractions(ahm) were processed by patented hyper-dry system in combination of freeze-dry technique with microwave and far infrared-ray *** healthy volunteers as the control group and 40 patients were *** patients were randomly subdivided into two equal groups:the conventional group was treated with placebo(starch),and ahm group was treated with 0.15 gm/d ahm,both for 12 consecutive *** patients were investigated before and after *** activity of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),hyaluronic acid(HA),transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) and matrixmetalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) were *** reduced glutathione(GSH) and malondialdehyde(MdA) levels in liver were assayed and the expression of hepatic α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) was identified by ***:At the start of the study,the hematoxylin and eosin staining revealed fibro-proliferated bile ductules,thick fibrous septa and dense inflammatory cellular infiltration in the patients before *** use of ahm for 12 wk significantly ameliorated the fibrosis,inhibited the inflammation,and resulted in minimal infiltration and minimal fibrosis compared to the conventional *** enzyme activities of the liver(ALT,AST and ALP) were attenuated after treatment in both groups,and the decrease in the ahm group was more significant as compared with the conventional *** to the AST,the MdA levels were significantly higher before treatment,and were attenuated after treatment in both *** contrast,the hepatic glutathione content in the patients were decreased significantly in the ahm group compared to the *** serum levels of the fibrosis markers(HA,TGF-β and MMP-2) were also reduced significantly after *** expression of α-SMA was m
