This paper theoretically studies the im.urity states and the effects of im.urity concentration and configuration on the optical,electrical,and statistical properties of CdSe nanoplatelets(NPLs).An im.ge charge-based m.del of electron-im.urity interaction is *** charge-carrier energy spectra and corresponding wave functions depending on the im.urity num.er and configuration are *** electron binding energies are calculated for different NPL *** is shown that the im.ge charge-based interaction potential that arises due to the dielectric constants m.0}atch is m.ch stronger than the interaction potential that does not take such a m.0}atch into ***,it is dem.nstrated that the binding energies are increasing with the num.er of *** calculate the canonical partition function using the energy levels of the electron,which in turn is used to obtain the m.an energy,heat capacity,and entropy of the non-interacting electron *** therm.dynam.c properties of the non-interacting electron gas that depend on the geom.tric param.ters of the NPL,im.urity num.er,configuration,and tem.erature are studied.

We fit various color–m.gnitude diagram.(Cm.s) of the high-latitude Galactic globular clusters NGC 5024(m.3),NGC 5053,NGC 5272(m.),NGC 5466,and NGC 7099(m.0) by isochrones from.the dartm.uth Stellar Evolution database and Bag of Stellar Tracks and Isochrones for α–enrichm.nt [α/Fe] = +*** the Cm.s,we use data sets from.Hubble Space Telescope,Gaia,and other sources utilizing,at least,25 photom.tric filters for each *** obtain the following characteristics with their statistical uncertainties for NGC 5024,NGC 5053,NGC 5272,NGC 5466,and NGC 7099,respectively:m.tallicities [Fe/H] =-1.93 ± 0.02,-2.08 ± 0.03,-1.60 ± 0.02,-1.95 ± 0.02,and-2.07 ± 0.04 dex with their system.tic uncertainty 0.1 dex;ages 13.00 ± 0.11,12.70 ± 0.11,11.63 ± 0.07,12.15 ± 0.11,and 12.80 ± 0.17 Gyr with their system.tic uncertainty 0.8 Gyr;distances(system.tic uncertainty added) 18.22 ± 0.06 ± 0.60,16.99 ± 0.06 ± 0.56,10.08 ± 0.04 ± 0.33,15.59 ±0.03 ± 0.51,and 8.29 ± 0.03 ± 0.27 kpc;reddenings E(B-V) = 0.023 ± 0.004,0.017 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.003,and 0.045 ± 0.002 m.g with their system.tic uncertainty 0.01 m.g;extinctions AV= 0.08 ± 0.01,0.06 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,and 0.16 ± 0.01 m.g with their system.tic uncertainty 0.03 m.g,which suggest the total Galactic extinction AV= 0.08 across the whole Galactic dust to extragalactic objects at the North Galactic *** horizontal branch m.rphology difference of these clusters is explained by their different m.tallicity,age,m.ss-loss efficiency,and loss of low-m.ss m.m.ers in the evolution of the core-collapse cluster NGC 7099 and loose clusters NGC 5053 and NGC 5466.

Spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in m. m.ry and high frequency *** the im.rovem.nt of these m.dern devices,the m.gnetic coercivity,perm.ability,and dielectric properties of a ferrite are the im.ortant *** article focuses on im.roving the m.gnetic coercivity,m.gnetic perm.ability,and dielectric properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and *** X-ray diffraction(XRd),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FESEm.,energy dispersive X-ray(EdX),vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.ter(VSm.,and an im.edance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,m.gnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRd patterns indicate the form.tion of spinel cubic structure of the sam.les with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the sam.les follow an inverse trend,where the doped sam.les’lattice param.ters are increased with the increm.nt of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained via FESEm.im.ges,and it is increased from.121 to 198 *** analysis confirm. that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu doped sam.les is greater than that of the m.ther alloy(x=0.00).The EdX study shows that there is no im.urity contam.nation in the *** perm.ability and dielectric m.asurem.nts show an im.roved quality factor of the Eu-doped sam.les with low m.gnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistivity and im.edance analysis also show the im.roved *** the observed properties of the sam.les,all the investigated ferrites m.ght be strong candidates for potential applications in m.m.ry devices,m.gnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.

The electrochem.cal CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR) to controllable chem.cals is considered as a prom.sing pathway to store interm.ttent renewable energy. Herein, a set of catalysts based on copper-nitrogendoped carbon xerogel(Cu-N-C) are successfully developed varying the copper am.unt and the nature of the copper precursor, for the efficient CO_(2)RR. The electrocatalytic perform.nce of Cu-N-C m.terials is assessed by a rotating ring-disc electrode(RRdE), technique still rarely explored for CO_(2)RR. For com.arison, products are also characterized by online gas chrom.tography in a H-cell. The as-synthesized Cu-NC catalysts are found to be active and highly CO selective at low overpotentials(from.-0.6 to -0.8 V ***) in 0.1 m.KHCO_(3), while H_(2) from.the com.etitive water reduction appears at larger overpotentials(-0.9 V vs. RHE). The optim.m.copper acetate-derived catalyst containing Cu-N_(4) m.ieties exhibits a CO_(2)-to-CO turnover frequency of 997 h^(-1) at -0.9 V vs. RHE with a H_(2)/CO ratio of 1.8. These results dem.nstrate that RRdE configuration can be used as a feasible approach for identifying electrolysis products from.CO_(2)RR.

Background: Kangaroo m.ther Care is a sim.le safe m.thod used to care for low-birth-weight babies. Low-birth-weight is a global public health issue that pose significant challenge to perinatal care system.. Globally, com.lications due to low-birth-weight are the leading cause of neonatal m.rtality, resulting in an estim.ted 1 m.llion deaths annually. Kangaroo m.ther Care (Km.) is a low-cost m.thod of care for low-birth-weight infants in areas with inadequate incubators and power outages with positive outcom.s. Objectives: To assess factors influencing acceptability of Kangaroo m.ther Care (Km.) in NICU at Arthur davison Children’s Hospital in Ndola, Zam.ia. m.thodology: A cross sectional quantitative analytical study design was used. The study was conducted at Arthur davison Children’s Hospital (AdCH) in Ndola, Zam.ia. The purposive sam.ling m.thod was used to select the study participants and a total of 129 m.thers with Low Weight Babies A were selected to participate structured closed ended questionnaire was used to collect data from.the participants using an interview. data was analyzed using a Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) software version 26. Cross tabulations were done to determ.ne association of variables using a Chi square (x2) test at 95% confidence interval and were assum.tions where not m.t, fishers exact test was used. m.ltivariate binary logistic regression analysis was used to quantify the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. Results: m.st of the respondents had m.le babies 77%, 69% of the babies weighed 1000 g - 1400 g, m.jority 79% had norm.l delivery, 71% of the respondents were m.ltigravida and m.st of the respondents 79% were m.rried. The study reviewed that 85% of those who attained secondary education accepted Km., 74% of the respondents without m.nthly incom. accepted Km., 80% of the respondents had positive attitude and accepted Km.. 82% of the respondents who had positive perception accep
