Post-stroke depression (PSd) is one of the com.on com.lica.ions of stroke. PSd ha. been a.m.jor fa.tor hindering the recovery of neurologica. functions a.d da.ly a.tivities in stroke pa.ients a.d is closely rela.ed to the socia. a.oida.ce a.d increa.ed m.rta.ity of stroke pa.ients. a.though a.tidepressa.t drug trea.m.nt ha. im.roved during the la.t deca.es, sym.tom. in a.out 20% of the pa.ients a.e not in rem.ssion two yea.s a.ter initia.ion of pha.m.cologica. intervention. Nowa.a.s, non-inva.ive bra.n stim.la.ion;techniques;tra.scra.ia. direct current stim.la.ion (tCdS) ha. ga.ned a. im.orta.t interest in the trea.m.nt of m.ny neuropsychia.ric disorders which m.ght be of som. help in trea.m.nt of PSd. The goa. of the current study is to eva.ua.e the beneficia. short term.role of tdCS on post-stroke depression. Study design: This wa. a.ra.dom.zed double blind pla.ebo-controlled clinica. tria. included forty hem.pa.etic pa.ients with post-stroke depression from.outpa.ient clinic of Fa.ulty of Physica. Thera.y, Ca.ro University, in the period between June 2018 to June 2019. a.l pa.ients dia.nosed a. ha.ing a.PSd a.cording to the dia.nostic a.d Sta.istica. m.nua. of m.nta. disorders (dSm.5). depression wa. eva.ua.ed by hamilton depression Ra.ing Sca.e (ham-d) pre a.d post trea.m.nt a.d qua.ity of life wa. eva.ua.ed by the Stroke Specific Qua.ity Of Life sca.e (SS-QOL). The result of the study contributes to enha.cing a.d susta.ning future livelihoods a.d food security in Vietna.0}vis-a.vis clim.te cha.ge. a. innova.ive stra.egy ba.ed on m.rker-a.sisted ba.kcrossing (m.BC) wa. used to tra.sform.popula. rice va.iety a.996 into the one ca. tolera.e subm.rgence while m.inta.ning its origina. cha.a.teristics preferred by fa.m.rs a.d consum.rs. The subm.rgence tolera.ce QTL SUB1 counts for up to 70% of the subm.rgence tolera.t a.d provides a.m.rked im.rovem.nt of subm.rgence tolera.ce in a.l genetic ba.kgrounds a.d environm.nts tested so fa.. Pa.enta. diversity wa. ca.ried out with 460 m.rkers. Of which, 53 polym.rphic m.rkers were used for a.sessm.nt on BC1F1, BC2F1 a.d BC3F1 genera.ions. The best BC1F1 pla.t wa. P422 with highest recipient a.lele wa. 87.5%, while the a.ditiona. chosen pla.ts were P412, P428, P215 a.d P39 (81% - 84%). a.l these pla.ts were used to develop BC2F1 genera.ion. The six BC2F1 pla.ts were used to develop BC3F1 a.d BC2F2 were the pla.ts num.er P422-11 a.d P422-14 ha.ing 93.75% recipient a.leles a.d P422-12, P422-3, P39-17, P39-25 ha.ing 92.25% recipient a.leles. Tota. of 445 BC3F1 pla.ts were confirm.d the introgresion of SUB1 using a.T5 a.d SC3. a.ter three genera.ions of ba.kcrossing, a.plica.ion of m.BC resulted in the best BC3F1 individua. P422-14-177 with 100% of recipient a.leles ba.ed on the num.er of 53 m.rkers used with only the introgression size of SUB1 wa. 0.3m. between a.T5 a.d SC3. Phenotyping wa. ca.ried out on BC3F1 a.d BC2F2 of the selected lines. The surviva. ra.io of these selected lines a.d IR64SUB1 were the sa.0}. It convinced the successfully introgress SUB1 into a.996 rice va.iety. The breeding line BC4F1 ha.ing 100% genetic ba.kground of donor va.iety is rea.y for develop new subm.rgence tolera.t rice va.iety a.S996-SUB1 to cope with clim.te cha.ge.

Here, by utilizing the synergetic effect of the non-cova.ent functiona.iza.ion of highly conductive non-oxidized gra.hene fla.es (NOGFs) a.d introduction of m.cha.ica.ly robust cellulose na.ofiber (CNF)-interm.ngled structure, a.very thick (≈ 1 m.), freesta.ding orga.ic na.ohybrid electrode which ensures the superiority in cycle sta.ility a.d a.ea. ca.a.ity is reported. The well-developed ion/electron pa.hwa.s throughout the entire thickness a.d the enha.ced kinetics of electrochem.ca. rea.tions in the ultra.hick 5,10-dihydro-5,10-dim.thylphena.ine/NOGF/CNF (dm.Z-NC) ca.hodes lea. to the high a.ea. energy of 9.4 m.h·cm.2 (= 864 Wh·kg−1 a. 158 W·kg−1). This novel ultra.hick electrode a.chitecture provides a.genera. pla.form.for the developm.nt of the high-perform.nce orga.ic ba.tery electrodes.
