Plant-associated microbes are critical for plant growth and survival under natural environmental *** date,most plant microbiome studies involving high-throughput amplicon sequencing have focused on the relative abundance of microbial ***,this technique does not assess the total microbial load and the abundance of individual microbes relative to the amount of host plant ***,we report the development of a host-associated quantitative abundance profiling(HA-QAP)method that can accurately examine total microbial load and colonization of individual root microbiome members relative to host plants by the copy-number ratio of microbial marker gene to plant *** validate the HAQAP method using mock experiments,perturbation experiments,and metagenomic *** HA-QAP method eliminates the generation of spurious outputs in the classical method based on microbial relative abundance,and reveals the load of root microbiome to host *** the HA-QAP method,we found that the copy-number ratios of microbial marker genes to plant genome range from 1.07 to 6.61 for bacterial 16S rRNA genes and from 0.40 to 2.26 for fungal internal transcribed spacers in the root microbiome samples from healthy rice and ***,using HA-QAP we found that an increase in total microbial load represents a key feature of changes in root microbiome of rice plants exposed to drought stress and of wheat plants with root rot disease,which significantly influences patterns of differential taxa and species interaction *** its accuracy and technical feasibility,HA-QAP would facilitate our understanding of genuine interactions between root microbiome and plants.

通过N-甲基咪唑和烷基氯的季铵化反应合成出了咪唑环N上烷基取代基碳链长度或者饱和度不同的4种离子液体:氯化1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑(BMImCl)、氯化1-烯丙基-3-甲基咪唑(AlMImCl)、氯化1-苯甲基-3-甲基咪唑(BzMImCl)和氯化-1-辛基-3-甲基咪唑(OcMImCl)。以含咔唑(CAR)和二苯并噻吩(DBT)的甲苯-正十二烷烃溶液作为模拟柴油,测定CAR和DBT在这些离子液体中的相对分配系数,考察了离子液体对氮和硫化物的萃取脱除选择性。结果表明,在这些离子液体中CAR比DBT有更高的分配系数;4种离子液体比较,BMImCl和AlMImCl对CAR的分配系数分别达46和14,对氮和硫化合物的萃取脱除选择性SN/S分别达到125和38。测定了离子液体在模拟柴油的溶解度,发现这4种离子液体在甲苯和正十二烷烃模拟柴油中的溶解度有显著的差别,其中BMImCl和AlMImCl的溶解度相当且都很小。综合结果显示BMImCl具有最佳性能。实验还比较了BMImCl对不同碱性氮杂环化合物的萃取效果,发现其对含硫化合物和碱性含氮化合物的萃取效率随着模拟柴油中甲苯的质量分数的增加而降低,而对中性含氮化合物表现出高萃取效率,且几乎不受甲苯质量分数的影响。对一种含有361 mg·kg-1N和3598 mg·kg-1S的工业柴油,BMImCl对其对中性含氮化合物的萃取效率达到38%,而对相对含量高约十倍的含硫化合物的萃取率仅约有1.7%。综合上述结果表明,氯化1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑盐离子液体对柴油中的中性含氮化合物具有高选择性脱除作用。

Design of Calibration Experiments for Identification of Manipulator Elastostatic Parameters

The paper is devoted to the elastostatic calibration of industrial robots, which is used for precise machining of large-dimensional parts made of composite materials. In this technological process, the interaction between the robot and the workpiece causes essential elastic deflections of the manipulator components that should be compensated by the robot controller using relevant elastostatic model of this mechanism. To estimate parameters of this model, an advanced calibration technique is applied that is based on the non-linear experiment design theory, which is adopted for this particular application. In contrast to previous works, it is proposed a concept of the user-defined test-pose, which is used to evaluate the calibration experiments quality. In the frame of this concept, the related optimization problem is defined and numerical routines are developed, which allow generating optimal set of manipulator configurations and corresponding forces/torques for a given number of the calibration experiments. Some specific kinematic constraints are also taken into account, which insure feasibility of calibration experiments for the obtained configurations and allow avoiding collision between the robotic manipulator and the measurement equipment. The efficiency of the developed technique is illustrated by an application example that deals with elastostatic calibration of the serial manipulator used for robot-based machining.

A Wave Propagation Model Based on Monte-Carlo Particle-Tracing

This article describes a new wave propagation model based on Monte-Carlo particle-tracing. This model relies on Monte-Carlo integration and Huygens currents radiating. The particles used to compute the field permit to consider the interferences. This model includes the diffraction of the surface without edge computation. The implementation of this propagation model is based on a image synthesis renderer. The results of this model are studied in far field situation with perfectly conducting shapes, by comparing results with a classical MoM method.

SISDH: A Model Based on SMAs and SIRs for the Simulation of the Evolution of COVID-19 in Cameroon

This paper presents a model to simulate the evolution of COVID-19 in the Cameroonian context. The presented model SISDH stands for Susceptible, Infected, Severe, Died, and Healed is made up of the mixture of a Multi-Agent System (SMA) and a SIR (Susceptible, Infected, Recovered)-based model, and mainly addresses the problem of modelling the evolution of pandemics with a high transmission rate. Multi-agent systems are used to design the SIR model’s entities, namely the habitants of the region subject to the study. The experimentation carried out showed that the combination of the two concepts favours rapid decision-making. For example, the requirement to wear a mask or strict adherence to social distancing reduces the risk of spread. The application of these tough measures had theoretically leveled down the spreading of the epidemic. Besides the lowering of the number of cases when strict measures were applied, we also highlighted a significant reduction of deaths and severe illness which is a concomitant result of the lockdown. On the other hand, our experiments revealed a peak of infections a few steps after the beginning when no restrictions are made for barrier measures. The peak is followed by a sudden decrease in infection which might convey immunity of the population.

背景：前期人工全膝关节置换试验证实,采用以三维骨建模为基础的计算机辅助系统可以进行精确地假体三维定位及下肢力线重建,减少髌股关节并发症,取得韧带平衡,获得良好的临床效果。目的：拟进行人工全膝关节置换时假体旋转对位的量化分析,验证三维骨建模的计算机辅助手术系统对量化操作的精确性和有效性。设计、时间及地点：回顾性病例分析,于2002-11/2003-06在法国亨利蒙多医院矫形与创伤外科完成。对象：纳入保守治疗无效的三间隔骨性关节炎患者21例（21膝）,其中14例膝内翻,7例膝外翻;患者均为初次置换,所用假体为后稳定型人工表面全膝关节（Hermes,Ceraver,法国）。方法：采用三维骨建模Ceravision系统对21例患者（21膝）进行人工全膝关节置换。计算机系统提供假体预设方案,安置好截骨定位导向装置后进行截骨,注意保持良好的伸屈膝关节间隙和韧带平衡及关节稳定,额面上控制应力下膝内外翻在±3°以内,下肢力线（180±3）°以内,适当地假体旋转对位后行假体固定。主要观察指标：根据相关的临床体检、影像学和导航系统资料,对术中假体旋转对位测量值、置换后3个月膝关节活动度、膝关节松弛度和髌骨稳定性进行观察分析。结果：在保证下肢力线与膝关节额面松弛度于正常范围内,术中股骨假体旋转对位内旋1°-外旋5°,胫骨假体旋转对位内旋0°-外旋5°。其中14例膝内翻患者,股骨假体旋转对位内旋1°-外旋5°,胫骨假体旋转对位内旋2°-外旋5°;7例膝外翻患者,股骨假体旋转对位内旋1°-外旋4°,胫骨假体旋转对位内旋0°-外旋4°。置换后3个月时,膝关节最大屈膝度为105°-130°,平均115°,无膝痛、髌骨失稳和脱位等并发症,膝关节额面松弛度无异常。结论：应用以三维骨建模为基础的人工全膝关节置换计算机辅助手术系统,可针对患者个体精确三维截骨和假体旋转对位,获得良好的膝关节屈伸位下关节等距间隙,保证良好的膝关节韧带张力与平衡稳定,避免髌-股并发症,可在手术中常规使用。

Antibiotic-Loaded Resorbable Bone-Graft Substitute： A New Treatment for Osteomyelitis/Osteitis

Patients with osteomyelitis require lengthy antibiotic treatment, often only to see the inflammation flare up once antibiotics are suspended. Unfortunately, patients often discontinue the antibiotic treatment due to collateral effects. Patients with osteitis are often polymorbid patients with other severe diseases such as diabetes mellitus and polyneuropathy, arteriopathy or polyarthfitis with immunosuppression. The eight patients included in the study presented nine bones with osteomyelitis （macroscopically, bacteriologically, histologically or radiologically）. The diseased part of the bone was resected, a locally radical debridement was done and a biopsy for bacteriology and histology were taken. The residual bone was then drilled out and filled with antibiotic-loaded （gentamicin） resorbable bone-graft substitute under radiologic imaging control. In total, seven patients are currently without recurrent osteomyelitis with a mean follow-up of 5.77 months （2-11 months）. The Kaplan Meier curve shows 80% survival rate without recurrent osteomyelitis at 11 months. Only one patient suffering from Morbus Buerger had a relapse osteomyelitis after cutting off severing his foot while swimming in the sea. Antibiotic-loaded resorbable bone-graft substitute is easy to use, has in our hands few complications and low recurrence rate.

Application of Selected Natural Antimicrobial Formulations for the Control of Food Pathogens in Fresh-Cut Cauliflower

In recent years, research on biopolymer based-coating containing natural antimicrobial agents is developing significantly. The objective of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial efficiency of six formulations containing pre-selected natural antimicrobial compounds against Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli O 157：H7, Salmonella typhimurium, the total bacteria and total yeasts and molds in cauliflower. Each formulation was subjected to a sensory test in parallel to microbiological analysis and the efficiency during storage at 5 ℃ was evaluated for the two best formulations, based on their ability to eliminate the target microorganisms. Both formulations were able to reduce all pathogens and total flora below detectable levels after 24 h of storage at 5 ℃. Using washing or spraying treatments, the two formulations were able to reduce Listeria to undetectable levels for 3 d. This efficiency was extended to 7 d when the formulations were incorporated into an edible coating. Washing treatment with the two formulations was also able to limit the growth of yeast and molds at levels lower than 2 log, for more than 7 d. The population of E. coli was reduced to below the detection limit during 14 d of storage, after washing treatment with the two formulations. The spraying treatment of cauliflower with the formulations allowed the use of very small amounts of antimicrobials while maintaining a fairly good efficiency, greatly reducing the potential costs of implementing this method in the industry. Future research may focus on development of nanoemulsion of antimicrobial formulations based on the developed antimicrobial formulations in this study to improve the better coating efficiency.

Updated Lithological Map in the Forest Zone of the Centre, South and East Regions of Cameroon Using Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network and Landsat Images

The Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network (MLPNN) induction technique has been successfully applied to a variety of machine learning tasks, including the extraction and classification of image features. However, not much has been done in the application of MLPNN on images obtained by remote sensing. In this article, two automatic classification systems used in image feature extraction and classification from remote sensing data are presented. The first is a combination of two models: a MLPNN induction technique, integrated under ENVI (Environment for Visualizing Images) platform for classification, and a pre-processing model including dark subtraction for the calibration of the image, the Principal Components Analysis (PCA) for band selections and Independent Components Analysis (ICA) as blind source separator for feature extraction of the Landsat image. The second classification system is a MLPNN induction technique based on the Keras platform. In this case, there was no need for pre-processing model. Experimental results show the two classification systems to outperform other typical feature extraction and classification methods in terms of accuracy for some lithological classes including Granite1 class with the highest class accuracies of 96.69% and 92.69% for the first and second classification system respectively. Meanwhile, the two classification systems perform almost equally with the overall accuracies of 53.01% and 49.98% for the first and second models respectively though the keras model has the advantage of not integrating the pre-processing model, hence increasing its efficiency. The application of these two systems to the study area resulted in the generation of an updated geological mapping with six lithological classes detected including the Gneiss, the Micaschist, the Schist and three versions of Granites (Granite1, Granite2 and Granite3).
