This paper uses the Oseen transformation to solve the differential equations governing motion of the vertical linear gradient flow distribution close to a wall surface. The Navier-Stokes equations are used to consider the inertia term along the flow direction. A novel contour integral method is used to solve the complex Airy function. The boundary conditions of linear gradient flow distribution for finite problems are determined. The vorticity function, the pressure function, and the turbulent velocity profiles are provided, and the stability of particle trajectories is studied. An Lx-function form of the third derivative circulation is used to to simplify the solution. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental measurements with satisfactory agreement.

Objective:Germline mutations in mismatch repair(MMR)genes cause Lynch syndrome(LS).LS is an inherited disease,and an important consequence of MMR deficiency is microsatellite instability(MSI)*** phenotype influences the efficacy of5 fluorouracil(5-FU)***,cost effective,and easy to perform laboratory tests are required to include MSI detection in routine laboratory *** of CAT25 as monomorphic short tandem repeat sequence enables CAT25 to be an efficient screening tool among hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer(HNPCC)patients compared with other methods used ***:Based on Amsterdam II criteria,31 patients in 31 families were shortlisted from a total number of 1,659 colorectal cancer *** status was examined in these patients using CAT25 and a commercially available Promega MSI five-markerbased detection system as well as immunohistochemical(IHC)staining of four important MMR *** were scored as high microsatellite instable(MSI-H),low(MSI-L),or stable(MSS).MSI status determined by CAT25 single mononucleotide marker was compared with that of five mononucleotide markers,Promega commercial kit,and IHC ***:MMR protein deficiency was observed on 7/31 probands using IHC methodology and 6/31 categorized as MSI-H using commercial kit or CAT25 single *** sensitivity and specificity of the CAT25 single marker were the same as those detected by five-marker Promega commercial kit in our ***:Based on our results,the performance of the CAT25 single mononucleotide marker for MSI status determination in our HNPCC patients is the same as that of the five-marker-based commercial kit.

Objective:To determine the effect of climatic and environmental factors on the incidence of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Qom province in ***:In this cross-sectional study,the data on cutaneous leishmaniasis incidence were collected from the Disease Control and Prevention Center in Qom *** and environmental data including Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI),Land Surface Temperature(LST),and soil moisture were extracted using satellite *** of altitude and sunny hours were provided based on shuttle radar topography mission digital elevation model and hemispherical viewshed algorithm,*** associations of climatic and environmental variables with the incidence of the disease were analyzed by Pearson correlation *** Arc GIS 10.3 software was used to determine the geographical distribution of these ***:There were positive correlations between cutaneous leishmaniasis incidence and the two climatic factors:LST and sunny hours per day(P=0.041,P=0.016),and it had weak negative correlations with the digital elevation model(P=0.27),soil moisture(P=0.54),and NDVI(P=0.62).The time delay analysis showed that in one-,two-,and three month periods,the correlations increased with a 95%confidence ***,the correlation with the three-month time delay was positive and relatively strong between the cutaneous leishmaniasis incidence and LST and sunny hours(P=0.027,P=0.02);nevertheless,there were negative correlations between the cutaneous leishmaniasis incidence and the soil moisture(P=0.27)and NDVI(P=0.62).Conclusions:As Qom is located in one of the semi-arid climate zones,topography and solar energy are important factors affecting the incidence of cutaneous leishmaniasis in ***,appropriate disease control programs are recommended.

BACKGROUND Infections,including invasive fungal infections(IFIs),are among the leading causes of mortality in liver transplant recipients during the first year *** To investigate the epidemiology,clinical manifestations,risk factors,treatment outcomes,and mortality rate of post-liver transplantation invasive aspergillosis(IA).METHODS In this case-control study,22 patients with IA were identified by reviewing the archived and electronic medical records of 850 patients who received liver transplants at the Imam Khomeini Hospital complex in Tehran,Iran,between 2014 and *** control group comprised 38 patients without IA infection matched for age and *** information obtained included the baseline characteristics of liver transplant patients,operative reports,post-transplantation characteristics of both groups and information about the fungal infection of the patient *** The prevalence rate of IA among liver transplant recipients at Imam Khomeini Hospital was 2.7%.The risk factors of IA among studied patients included high serum creatinine levels before and post-transplant,renal replacement therapy,antithymocyte globulin induction therapy,post-transplant bile leakage,posttransplant hepatic artery thrombosis,repeated surgery within 30 d after the transplant,bacterial pneumonia before the aspergillosis diagnosis,receiving systemic antibiotics before the aspergillus infection,cytomegalovirus infection,and duration of post-transplant hospitalization in the intensive care *** most prevalent form of infection was invasive pulmonary aspergillosis,and the most common chest computed tomography scan findings were nodules,pleural effusion,and the halo *** the case group,prophylactic antifungal therapy was administered more frequently than in the control *** antifungal therapy response rate at 12 wk was 63.7%.The 3-and 12-mo mortality rates of the patients with IA were 36.4%and 45.4%,respectively(compared with the mortality rate o

In general, China is short of water resources and some regions even experience a shortage of daily water supply. This could threaten the stability and economic development of the nation. A study on the water storage variations is especially important for the water management and storage prediction in three largest river basins of China, namely, Yangtze, Yellow, and Zhujiang, where the most dense population and leading economic regions are located. The satellite gravity mission GRACE （Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment） provides an opportunity to macroseopically identify water （or mass） variations in the Earth＇s system with a spatial resolution of 300-400 km and a temporal resolution of about one month. We use the first release of the DEOS （Delft Institute of Earth Observation and Space Systems） Mass Transport （DMT-1） model based on GRACE data to analyze water storage changes in the three river basins. The DMT-1 model consists of monthly solutions, which are computed using an innovative methodology. The methodology includes, in particular, the application of a statistically optimal Wiener-type filter based on full varianee-covariance matrices of noise and signal. This results in particularly sharp mass variation maps. Taking one monthly solution as an example, we compare the results derived from the DMT-1 model with ones produced with the standard post-processing scheme based on a combination of the de-striping and Gaussian filtering. The comparison shows that the DMT-1 model outperforms the other models and is suitable for the analysis of the mass changes in river basins. A subset of the DMT-1 solutions in the interval between February 2003 and May 2008 is used to estimate the secular trends and seasonal variations for the three river basins. The estimated trends show that the water storage of the Yellow River basin does not have significant changes, while the Zhujiang and Yangtze river basins have a large and statistically significant water storage increase. The paper presents a new study on a tri-layer thin *** moiré implemented with an advanced phase unwrapping technique is employed to obtain actual flexural deformation of a real-life plate sample subjected to thermal *** analytical model is re-formulated to provide the plate with global closed-form solutions of the plate deflection as well as the interfacial stress and *** the measurements and the solutions available,an inverse iterative approach is developed to evaluate and maximize the correlation between the measured and the predicted thermal flexure,leading to ascertained materials' constitutive and thermal *** inverse search algorithm starts with estimated ranges of material property parameters and progressively updates them to finally approach the respective true *** established model solutions along with the optimized material properties matrix enable an accurate evaluation of the interfacial stresses/strains for the specific plate sample.

Two earthquakes occurred on 11 August 2012 in East Azerbaijan province, NW Iran with Mw 6.3 at 12:23:15.9 and Mw 6.1;11 minutes after the first shock at 12:34:34.8 GMT time. In this study, we concentrated on the properties of the aftershock sequences in a duration of 7.5-month time-period data after the main shocks, recorded by Broadband Iranian Network (BIN). We obtained p, c and K parameters with the maximum likelihood method and the occurrence rate was modeled by the modified Omori formula. Besides, we showed that aftershocks of the aftershock in 7 Nov. 2012 (M = 5.6) also decay according to the modified Omori law. We investigated the spatial and temporal variations of b-values before and after the twin earthquakes with Mw 6.3 and Mw 6.1 approximately 20 km around North Tabriz Fault (NTF) in the region from 1996 to 2013 using Iranian Seismological Center (IRSC). We believed that a research of the past 17 years has clearly established that spatial b-value changes and seismicity rate are highly significant and meaningful. Moreover, our research led to a warning for a probable strong motion along NTF for the coming couple of years.
