Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to March 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm Mannitol,60000 ppm Mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.

Background Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) is a direct benefit transfer scheme of the Government of India introduced in 2018 to support the additional nutritional requirements of persons with TB (PwTB). Our recent nationwide evaluation of implementation and utilization of NPY using programmatic data of PwTB from nine randomly selected Indian states, reported a 70% coverage and high median delay in benefit credit. We undertook a qualitative study between January and July 2023, to understand the detailed implementation process of NPY and explore the enablers and barriers to effective implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approach to inductively develop theoretical explanations for social phenomena through data generated from multiple sources. We conducted 36 in-depth interviews of national, district and field-level staff of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (ntEP) and NPY beneficiaries from 30 districts across nine states of India, selected using theoretical sampling. An analytical framework developed through inductive coding of a set of six interviews, guided the coding of the subsequent interviews. Categories and themes emerged through constant comparison and the data collection continued until theoretical *** Stakeholders perceived NPY as a beneficial initiative. Strong political commitment from the state administration, mainstreaming of ntEP work with the district public healthcare delivery system, availability of good geographic and internet connectivity and state-specific grievance redressal mechanisms and innovations were identified as enablers of implementation. Regional Impact of Cyclone Sidr in Bangladesh: A Multi-Sector Analysis

This research investigates the impact of cyclone Sidr on six regional economic systems of Bangladesh. The study uses secondary data on direct damages and corresponding changes in consumer spending and public/private investment expenditure. It employs input–output modeling and simulates the changes in national and regional output,income, and employment due to cyclone Sidr. Our findings indicate that coastal regions of Bangladesh—Barisal,Chittagong, and Khulna—are more vulnerable to cyclone disaster than are other parts of the country. The cycloneinduced loss of output is highest for Chittagong Division and income and employment losses are greatest in Barisal Division. The most affected sectors are housing services,agriculture, construction, and industrial activities. But sectoral losses vary widely across the regions. This research also finds that the present state of consumer spending and investment expenditure is not great enough to handle cyclone-induced output, income, and employment losses. It argues that investment decisions must consider regional patterns of output, income, and employment losses in different economic sectors to ensure cyclone-resilient development in Bangladesh.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has been a major global health challenge since its emergence in *** to early predictions that sub-Saharan Africa(SSA)would bear a disproportionate share of the burden of COVID-19 due to the region's vulnerability to other infectious diseases,weak healthcare systems,and socioeconomic conditions,the pandemic's effects in SSA have been very mild in comparison to other ***,the number of cases,hospitalizations,and disease-induced deaths in SSA remain low,despite the loose implementation of non-pharmaceutical interventions(NPIs)and the low availability and administration of *** explanations for this low burden include epidemiological disparities,under-reporting(due to limited testing),climatic factors,population structure,and government policy *** this study,we formulate a model framework consisting of a basic model(in which only susceptible individuals are vaccinated),a vaccine-structured model,and a hybrid vaccine-age-structured model to assess the dynamics of COVID-19 in West Africa(WA).The framework is trained with a portion of the confirmed daily COVID-19 case data for 16 West African countries,validated with the remaining portion of the data,and used to(i)assess the effect of age structure on the incidence of COVID-19 in WA,(ii)evaluate the impact of vaccination and vaccine prioritization based on age brackets on the burden of COVID-19 in the sub-region,and(iii)explore plausible reasons for the low burden of COVID-19 in WA compared to other parts of the *** of the model parameters and global sensitivity analysis show that asymptomatic youths are the primary drivers of the pandemic in ***,the basic and control reproduction numbers of the hybrid vaccine-age-structured model are smaller than those of the other two models indicating that the disease burden is overestimated in the models which do not account for *** result is confirmed through the vaccine-d

如今,超疏水涂层因其广泛的应用而受到越来越多的关注,包括电子设备、防水和自清洁纺织品、适用于电网设备的防冰表面、防腐设备、生物医学设备、建筑行业、抗菌织物、防海洋工业中的生物污损表面和油水分离。微纳米粗糙度和低表面能的结合可以产生超疏水表面。尼龙6机织织物是一种较轻、机械强度高且有光泽的织物。另一方面,二氧化硅也是涂料行业的重要原材料,因为它可以提供广泛的功能和益处。涂料工业中使用的二氧化硅,et al级是合成生产的,通常符合更高的质量控制标准,通常具有更严格的物理化学要求,例如颜色和亮度。轻质环保功能性梭织面料在这个时代有着更高的市场需求。亲水表面的超疏水性可以通过用低表面能化合物对微纳米粗糙表面进行化学改性来获得。本文提出了一种简便且非氟化的方法来构建超疏水尼龙机织织物,该方法基于原硅酸乙酯（TEOS）的水解和缩合制备二氧化硅纳米粒子,然后与端氨基偶联剂3-氨基丙基三乙氧基硅烷（APTES）和长链疏水剂十六烷基三甲氧基硅烷（HDTMS）交联制备涂层液,使用喷涂和浸涂技术,将制备的水性涂料溶液附于尼龙织物上,制备了超疏水尼龙织物。通过扫描电子显微镜（SEM）和傅里叶变换红外（FTIR）光谱研究了处理后织物的二氧化硅纳米颗粒的形成、形态和结构,处理后的织物表现出优异的拒水性和耐洗牢度。本文具体研究结果如下:1.二氧化硅纳米粒子的合成采用改进的St（?）ber方法进行处理,得到直径为51-60 nm的单分散粒子。阐明了二氧化硅纳米粒子和APTES以及织物之间可能的相互作用。2.将HDTMS添加到APTES分散体中,制备了用于超疏水织物涂层的水性涂层溶液。通过使用喷涂和浸涂技术,将制备的水性涂料溶液应用于织物,纳米二氧化硅粒子与织物表面产生无粘合剂表面粘合。附着在织物表面的纳米粒子可以提高涂层织物表面的粗糙度。3.通过水接触角（WCA）研究织物的疏水性,测试结果表明,处理后的织物表现出优异的拒水性,水接触角高达151°。在这个实验中,纳米粒子聚集到溶液中,水解的APTES和二氧化硅表面的Si-OH基团发生反应。纳米颗粒表面和-NH2基团稳定了各个基团在甲苯中的分散。HDTMS也分散在溶液中,水解的HDTMS分子在表面形成Si-O-Si键。结果,具有低表面自由能的长链有机硅烷被引入织物表面。在没有任何粘合剂的情况下,在喷涂和浸涂后出现疏水涂层表面,并进行额外处理。超疏水尼龙6机织织物采用喷涂法涂覆,静水接触角151.8（?）。表征表现出良好的自洁倾向,已用不同的液体材料进行了测试,在常规用途中受到关注。透气性是考虑因素之一,未涂层和涂层尼龙织物的差异非常小,因为机织织物由于编织结构而具有低孔隙率。测试分析结果表明,经处理的尼龙6机织织物在100 Pa/mm H2O压力下的透气性值差异较小。涂层织物的耐久性也在几次循环洗涤后确定,并且在每个洗涤步骤后测试了水接触角（WAC）。这表明涂层尼龙织物的洗涤耐久性是好的。因此,该研究达到了利用二氧化硅纳米粒子制备高疏水性尼龙6机织织物的目的。

Arsenic(As),one of the most harmful toxicant at the global level,severely affects plant metabolism when taken ***,the presence of silicon(Si)as a fertilizer in As-contaminated soil is an effective strategy to decrease As accumulation in *** juncea(***)were grown hydroponically to investigate the role of Si at biochemical and molecular levels under arsenite(As^3+)*** of *** were exposed to As^3+,Si,and a combination of both *** data demonstrated that seedlings exposed to As^3+showed an inhibition in shoot length,chlorophyll,carotenoid,and protein,while co-application of Si improved these growth *** supplementation reduced As accumulation in ***/decrease was observed in stress-related parameters(cysteine and proline),antioxidant enzymes(superoxide dismutase,ascorbate peroxidase,and catalase),and oxidative stress markers(malondialdehyde and H2O2),which were improved upon co-application of Si as compared to As^3+alone *** amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)is a suitable biomarker assay for plants for assessing the *** RAPD primers produced a total of 39 and 48 bands in the leaves of the untreated and treated seedlings,*** RAPD band-profiles and genomic template stability were consistent with other growth and physiological *** conclusion,the genotoxic alterations along with the biochemical parameters indicate that the exposure to Si mitigates As^3+-induced oxidative stress by improving the stress-related parameters and antioxidant system in ***.

The glomerulonephritis disease is characterized by inflammation of glomeruli or small blood vessels in the kidney that causes kidney diseases. The reason of glomerulonephritis disease is to deposit the anti-GBM auto antibody in the glomerular basement membrane. The type IV collagen is the main component of glomerular basement membrane that has α3 chain of type (IV) collagen of non-collagenous domain which contains N-terminal 7S domain, a triple helical collagenous domain and C-terminal non-collagenous glomerular domain (NC1). The amino terminal of α3 (IV) NC1 that induces the Experimental Autoimmuno Glomerulonephritis (EAG) in rat model has been identified. The recombinant rat α3 (IV) NC1 antigen has nine amino acid spans that are consistent with antibody or T cell epitope that induces in EAG. The research is carried out on the recombinant rat α3 (IV) NC1 production, purification, quantification, and characterization. The circulation of anti-GBM antibody in glomerular basement membrane can be measured by the ELISA assay. In addition, the recombinant rat antigen is secreted in HEK293 cell supernatant that is purified by Anti-FLAG M2 monoclonal IgG antibody affinity column and characterized and quantified by SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis and Western blotting techniques.

不良贷款是孟加拉国银行业普遍存在的现象。不良贷款是一种违约或接近违约的贷款。本课题以“公司贷款不良及其挑战”为主题,研究的主要目的是为了满足学术需求以及寻找公司贷款的挑战和问题以及解决它们的目标。本报告还包含了对不良贷款的基本评估,基于原始数据的研究,将观察结果与封闭式结构性问卷进行区分,采用便捷的调查方法进行了区分,不良贷款问题的主要发现是借款人不愿意偿还贷款,如果管理能力差,借款人变得违约,本研究还发现可以减少银行等不良贷款的解决方案应采取适当的法律行动;应检查客户以前的记录;识别高度风险敏感借款人;应该增加监测等。本报告的结果可以帮助研究人员进一步研究有关议题,例如,可持有人对孟加拉国公司贷款的看法,孟加拉国外国公司和当地公司之间的比较研究。因此,本报告可为该领域的深入研究提供有价值的信息,有助于该国减少不良公司贷款。
