The energy system of the future will transform from the current centralised fossil based to a decentralised, clean, highly efficient, and intelligent network. This transformation will require innovative technologies and ideas like trigeneration and the crowd energy concept to pave the way ahead. Even though trigeneration systems are extremely energy efficient and can play a vital role in the energy system, turning around their deployment is hindered by various barriers. These barriers are theoretically analysed in a multiperspective approach and the role decentralised trigeneration systems can play in the crowd energy concept is highlighted. It is derived from an initial literature research that a multiperspective （technological, energy-economic, and user） analysis is necessary for realising the potential of trigeneration systems in a decentralised grid. And to experimentally quantify these issues we are setting up a microseale trigeneration lab at our institute and the motivation for this lab is also briefly introduced.

An Al/SiO_(2)/p-Si(MOS)capacitor with a thick(826Å)interfacial oxide layer(SiO_(2))which is formed by using the thermal oxidation method is fabricated to investigate both frequency and applied bias voltage dependences of real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant(ϵ'andϵ")and electric modulus(M'and M"),loss tangent(tanδ)and ac electrical conductivity(σ_(ac))in a wide frequency range from 1 kHz to 1 MHz at room *** dielectric properties of the MOS capacitor are obtained using the forward and reverse bias capacitance-voltage(C–V)and conductance-voltage(G/ω–V)measurements in the applied bias voltage range 1.4–5.6 *** values ofϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) are found to be strong functions of frequency and applied bias voltage in the depletion region due to excess capacitance Cex and conductance G_(ex)/ω especially at low *** experimental results show that the interfacial polarization can occur at low frequencies more easily,consequently contributing to the dispersion inϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) values of the MOS *** other reason for dispersion in the dielectric properties may be attributed to a particular density distribution of interface states(Nss)localized at the Si/SiO_(2) interface,as well as space charge carriers and inhomogeneity of interfacial oxide *** increase in conductivity with increasing frequency can be attributed to the hopping type conduction *** can be concluded that theϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) values of the Al/SiO_(2)/p-Si(MOS)capacitor are strongly dependent on both the frequency and applied bias voltage especially in the depletion region.

Using a previous model, which was developed to describe the light-induced creation of the defect density in the a-Si：H gap states, we present in this work a numerical modelling of the photodegradation effect in the a-Si：H p–i–n solar cell under continuous illumination. We first considered the simple case of a monochromatic light beam with a wavelength λ between 530–540 nm non uniformly absorbed, then the global standard solar spectrum（AM1.5） illumination is taken into account. The photodegradation is analysed on the basis of the resulting changes in the free carrier＇s densities, recombination rate, band structure, electrical potential and field, space charge, and current densities. Changes in the cell＇s external parameters： the open circuit voltage Voc, the short circuit current density Jsc, the fill factor FF and the maximum power density Pmaxare also presented.

Using a previous model, which was developed to describe the light-induced creation ofthe defect density in the a-Si：H gap states, we present in this work a computer simulation of the a-Si：H p-i-n solar cell behavior under continuous illumination. We have considered the simple case of a monochromatic light beam nonuniformly absorbed. As a consequence of this light-absorption profile, the increase of the dangling bond density is assumed to be inhomogeneous over the intrinsic layer （i-layer）. We investigate the internal variable profiles during illumination to understand in more detail the changes resulting from the light-induced degradation effect. Changes in the cell external parameters including the open circuit voltage, Voc, the short circuit current density, Jsc, the fill factor, FF, and the maximum power density, Pmax, are also presented. This shows, in addition, the free carrier mobility influence. The obtained results show that Voc seems to be the less affected parameter by the light-induced increase of the dangling bond density. Moreover, its degradation is very weak-sensitive to the free carrier mobility. Finally, the free hole mobility effect is found to be more important than that of electrons in the improvement of the solar cell performance.

Background: Bloating is a common gastrointestinal complaint which is difficult to ***: This study investigated the efficacy and compliance of a formulation called KAASER comprised of Trachyspermum ammi(L.) Sprague seed, Zingiber officinale Roscoe. rhizome and Piper nigrum L. berry in the treatment of functional ***, setting, participants and intervention: A total of 106 patients with functional bloating, between20 and 50 years of age, participated in this double-blind randomized controlled trial. Patients were divided into 3 parallel groups that received 500 mg of placebo, dimethicone or KAASER, three times a day for 2 *** outcome measures: The frequency and severity of bloating were primary outcomes, while the frequencies of eructation, defecation, borborygmus and early satiation were secondary outcomes. All parameters were evaluated at the beginning(week 0), and also weeks 2, 4 and 10 of the study, through self-report checklists with a scoring ***: Among the 84 patients who completed the study, the frequency and severity of bloating(P < 0.001), the frequencies of eructation, defecation and borborygmus(P = 0.03) were significantly improved in the group receiving KAASER(36 patients) compared with the dimethicone(35 patients)and placebo(35 patients) groups, during the 3 phases of follow-up. These significant differences persisted through the 2 and 8 weeks of follow-ups after cessation of medication(week 4 and 10). In early satiation,no significant differences were observed among the 3 ***: The results showed that KAASER can be effectively used to treat patients suffering from bloating. Bloating, eructation, defecation and borborygmus in the KAASER group remained significantly improved after 2 and 8 weeks of cessation of medication, making this mechanism an interesting area for further *** registration: Registration trial IRCT2015100324327 N on Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials.

Modeling of Track Formation in Semiconductors Irradiated with Swift Heavy Ions

The interaction of the heavy charged particles, of energy higher than a few MeV/amu with semiconductor single crystals can lead to the structural modification of their physical properties and participate at the creation of the defects which are called latent tracks. Several models were tested for explaining the track formation in semiconductors irradiated with swift heavy ions, one of them is the thermal spike model. This work shows that the experimental data obtained in semiconductors, in our case in InP irradiated with swift heavy ions can be described on the basis of the thermal spike model. The experimental results obtained on InP have allowed the parameters of this model to be understood. The only free parameter is the electron-phonon coupling constant g which is unknown in InP This model allows the evolution of track radii to be found as a function of electronic stopping power （dE/dx）e for different beam energies. For InP a good agreement is observed between calculated track radii and experimental ones on one hand, and on the other hand between calculated and experimental threshold value of electronic stopping power. This allows determining the electron-phonon coupling value for InP to be equal 0.9 × 10%11 Wcm-3K-land the （dE/dx）e threshold for latent track formation in InP equal 27 ＋ 3 keV/nm for ion energies ranging from 0.4-10 MeV/amu.
