Swat district is a biodiversity hub of Pakistan. The plant species, especially trees, in the Swat District are exposed to extinction threat from global climate change. Maximum entropy （MaxEnt） modelling of species distribution, using HADCM3 A2a global climate change scenario, pre-dicted a considerable change in the future distribution ofAbies pindrow （Royle ex ***） Royle. AUC （area under the curve）values of 0.972 and 0.983 were significant for the present and future distribution models of the species, respectively. It is clear that bioclimatic variables such as the mean temperature of the warmest quarter （bio_10） and the annual temperature range （bio_7） contribute significantly to the model and thus affect the predicted distribution and density of the species. The future model predicts that by the year 2080 population density will have decreased significantly. The highest density of the species is recorded in the eastern and western borders of the Valley in the areas of Sulatanr and Mankial. The changes in density and distribution of the species can have considerable impact, not only on the tree species itself, but on the associated subflora as well.

Natural convection in air-filled rectangular cavities inclined with respect to gravity, so that the heated wall is facing upwards, is studied numerically under the assumption of two-dimensional laminar flow. A computational code based on the SIMPLE-C algorithm is used for the solution of the system of the mass, momentum and energy transfer governing equations. Simulations are performed for height-to-width aspect ratios of the enclosure from 0.25 to 8, Rayleigh numbers based on the length of the heated and cooled walls from 10~2 to 10~7, and tilting angles of the enclosure from 0° to 75°. The existence of an optimal tilting angle is confirmed for any investigated configuration, at a location that increases as the Rayleigh number is decreased, and the height-to-width aspect ratio of the cavity are increased, unless the value of the Rayleigh number is that corresponding to the onset of convection or just higher. Dimensionless correlating equations are developed to predict the optimal tilting angle and the heat transfer performance of the enclosure.

Coronavirus disease,which resulted from the SARS-CoV-2 virus,has spread worldwide since early 2020 and has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization(WHO).Coronavirus disease is also termed *** affects the human respiratory system and thus can be traced and tracked from the Chest X-Ray ***,Chest X-Ray alone may play a vital role in identifying COVID-19 *** this paper,we propose a Machine Learning(ML)approach that utilizes the X-Ray images to classify the healthy and affected patients based on the patterns found in these *** article also explores traditional,and Deep Learning(DL)approaches for COVID-19 patterns from Chest X-Ray images to predict,analyze,and further understand this *** experimental evaluation of the proposed approach achieves 97.5% detection performance using the DL model for COVID-19 versus normal *** contrast,for COVID-19 versus Pneumonia Virus scenario,we achieve 94.5% accurate *** extensive evaluation in the experimental section guides and helps in the selection of an appropriate model for similar ***,the approach can be used for medical usages and is particularly pertinent in detecting COVID-19 positive patients using X-Ray images alone.

We start from a realistic half space then use to develop a mathematical asymptotic model for thermal imaging, which we analysis well suited for the design of reconstruction algorithms. We seek to reconstruct thermal anomalies only through their rough features. With this way our proposed algorithms are stable against measurement noise and geometry perturbations. Based on rigorous asymptotic estimates, we first obtain an approximation for the temperature profile which we then use to design noniterative detection algorithms. We show on numerical simulations evidence that they are accurate and robust. Moreover, we provide a mathematical model for ultrasonic temperature imaging, which is an important technique in cancerous tissue ablation therapy.

The simulation results on viscoelastic fluid flows in sudden expansion geometry with different expansion ratios are presented. Oldroyd-B, linear Phan-Thien-Tanner （L-PTT） and Finitely Extensible Nonlinear Elastic （FENE-P） based constitutive equations were applied in two-dimensional Cartesian coordinates. The governing equations in transient and fully developed regions were solved using open source software called OpenFOAM. The flow patterns, including velocity profiles, shear stresses and first normal stress differences in some horizontal and vertical sections are illustrated. In addition, effects of the fluid type, flow dynamics and expansion ratio on the flow and vortex patterns in transient and fully developed regions are presented and discussed. The presented results show that existences of vortices cause the inverse velocity and negative stresses in expansion regions of the channel which increase with increment of expansion ratio and Weissenberg number （We）. Furthermore, some dead spaces can be observed at channel expansion regions close to the wall which are also increased. The results also show that at low We numbers all fluids show close behavior while at high We numbers the FENE-P fluid behavior shows high divergence from that of the two other fluids.

信用评分是决定一笔贷款发放与否的关键。信用评分若能有效反映贷款的违约可能性、则将大大减少金融机构的损失。信用评分问题本质是将违约客户和非违约客户区分开来的二分类问题。在信用评分的求解过程中,指标的遴选是否得当、分类模型的构建是否合理,对违约状态的准确预测起着重要的作用。本研究旨在研究如何将指标遴选与分类模型构建进行结合,从而构建一套判别能力强的信用评分模型。本研究采用的指标筛选方法包括最小绝对收缩选择算子（LASSO）、多元自适应回归样条（MARS）,分类模型包括分类回归树（CART）、逻辑回归（LR）、人工神经网络（ANN）以及支持向量机（SVM）。本研究基于中国中小企业贷款数据和中国农户贷款数据,对指标筛选方法与分类模型构建方法如何结合进行实证研究。结果表明,以LASSO方法进行指标筛选、支持向量机SVM进行分类模型构建的信用评分模型,明显优于其他指标筛选与分类模型的组合方法。此外,本研究还证明了:（1）指标筛选能够明显提高人工神经网络ANN的分类精度;（2）基于LAS SO的指标筛选能改善逻辑回归LR的分类效果;（3）指标筛选并不能提高分类回归树CART的分类准确性。本研究通过四种广泛使用的分类模型构建方法以及两种前沿的指标筛选方法,为信用评分指标筛选与分类模型如何有效结合提供了证据。应该指出,本研究所给出的指标筛选与分类模型的组合,是在特征各异的数据集基础上实证检验得到的,数据集在是否为平衡样本、指标数量多寡、以及研究对象上都各有区别。本研究与其他研究的不同,在于本研究是基于中国中小企业贷款数据以及农户贷款数据进行建模,并基于公共数据集上进行模型验证。本研究提出的信用评分模型,可为贷款机构制定有效的信用风险管理政策提供参考。

The uptake of metals in roots and their transfer to rhizomes and above-ground plant parts（stems, leaves） of cattails（Typha latifolia L.） were studied in leachates from a domestic landfill site（Etueffont, France） and treated in a natural lagooning system. Plant parts and corresponding water and sediment samples were taken at the inflow and outflow points of the four ponds at the beginning and at the end of the growing season. Concentrations of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni and Zn in the different compartments were estimated and their removal efficiency assessed, reaching more than 90% for Fe, Mn and Ni in spring and fall as well in the water compartment. The above-and below-ground cattail biomass varied from 0.21 to 0.85, and 0.34 to 1.24 kg dry weight/m^2, respectively, the highest values being recorded in the fourth pond in spring 2011. The root system was the first site of accumulation before the rhizome, stem and leaves. The highest metal concentration was observed in roots from cattails growing at the inflow of the system＇s first pond. The trend in the average trace element concentrations in the cattail plant organs can generally be expressed as： Fe 〉 Mn 〉 As 〉 Zn 〉 Cr 〉 Cu 〉 Ni 〉 Cd for both spring and fall. While T. latifolia removes trace elements efficiently from landfill leachates, attention should also be paid to the negative effects of these elements on plant growth.

Umbilical cord blood stem cell treatment for a patient with psoriatic arthritis

Clinical and laboratory results document psoriatic arthritis in a 56-year old patient. The symptoms did not resolve with standard treatments(nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, steroids and methotrexate). TNF-alpha inhibitors(certolizumab pegol and adalimumab) were added to the treatment regime, with some adverse effects. A trial of human umbilical cord stem cell therapy was then initiated. The stem cells were enriched and concentrated from whole cord blood, by removal of erythrocytes and centrifugation. The patient received several infusions of cord blood stem cells, through intravenous and intra-articular injections. These stem cell treatments correlated with remission of symptoms(joint pain and psoriatic plaques) and normalized serologic results for the inflammatory markers C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. These improvements were noted within the first thirty days post-treatment, and were sustained for more than one year. The results of this trial suggest that cord blood stem cells may have important therapeutic value for patients with psoriatic arthritis, particularly for those who cannot tolerate standard treatments.
