chinese Assam tea(camellia sinensis ***)is an important tea crop with a long history of cultivation in Yunnan,*** its potential value as a genetic resource,its genetic diversity and domestication/breeding history remain *** address this issue,we genotyped 469 ancient tea plant trees representing 26 *** *** populations,plus two of its wild relatives(six and three populations of *** and ***,respectively)using 16 nuclear microsatellite *** showed that chinese Assam tea has a relatively high,but comparatively lower gene diversity(H_(S)=0.638)than the wild relative ***(H_S=0.658).clustering in STRUcTURE indicated that chinese Assam tea and its two wild relatives formed distinct genetic groups,with considerable interspecific *** chinese Assam tea accessions clustered into three gene pools,corresponding well with their geographic ***,New Hybrids analysis indicated that 68.48%of ancient chinese Assam tea plants from Xishuangbanna were genetic intermediates between the Puer and Lincang gene *** addition,10%of the ancient chinese Assam tea individuals were found to be hybrids between chinese Assam tea and *** results suggest that chinese Assam tea was domesticated separately in three gene pools(Puer,Lincang and Xishuangbanna)in the Mekong River valley and that the hybrids were subsequently selected during the domestication *** the domestication history of chinese Assam tea in southwestern Yunnan remains complex,our results will help to identify valuable genetic resources that may be useful in future tea breeding programs.

Nanozymes are widely used in various applications as nanosized catalysts for replacing *** accurate estimation of the catalytic activity of nanozymes in real conditions is *** this article,for the first time,we systematically studied the effect of macromolecular molecules co-existing in the real system on the oxidoreductase(peroxidase,oxidase,and catalase)-mimicking nanozymes made of a gold nanoparticle core and a platinum shell,Prussian Blue,Mn_(2)O_(3) and coO *** were made with horseradish *** distinguished two main mechanisms of the negative impact of macromolecules on nanozyme catalysis—slowed diffusion and surface shielding of *** the first mechanism is typical for enzymes,the second one is specific only for *** the mechanisms is essential for developing approaches to reduce the unavoidable impact of macromolecules for various analytical and biomedical applications.

Immunostaining in lungs of patients who died with covID-19 infection showed increased intensity and distribution of chondroitin sulfate and decline in N-acetylgalactostamine-4-sulfatase(Arylsulfatase B;ARSB).To explain these findings,human small airway epithelial cells were exposed to the SARS-coV-2 spike protein receptor binding domain(SPRBD)and transcriptional mechanisms were ***-p38 MAPk and phospho-SMAD3 increased following exposure to the SPRBD,and their inhibition suppressed the promoter activation of the carbohydrate sulfotransferases cHST15 and cHST11,which contributed to chondroitin sulfate *** in ARSB was mediated by phospho-38 MAPk-induced N-terminal Rb phosphorylation and an associated increase in Rb-E2F1 binding and decline in E2F1 binding to the ARSB *** increases in chondroitin sulfotransferases were inhibited when treated with phospho-p38-MAPk inhibitors,SMAD3(SIS3)inhibitors,as well as antihistamine desloratadine and antibiotic *** the mouse model of carrageenan-induced systemic inflammation,increases in phosphop38 MAPk and expression of cHST15 and cHST11 and declines in DNA-E2F binding and ARSB expression occurred in the lung,similar to theobserved effects in this SPRBD model of cOVID-19 *** accumulation of chondroitin sulfates is associated with fibrotic lung conditions and diffuse alveolar damage,increased attention to p38-MAPk inhibition may be beneficial in amelioratingcovid-19infections.

Prunus serotina and Robinia pseudoacacia are the most widespread invasive trees in central *** addition,according to climate models,decreased growth of many economically and ecologically important native trees will likely be observed in the *** aimed to assess the impact of these two neophytes,which differ in the biomass range and nitrogen-fixing abilities observed in central European conditions,on the relative aboveground biomass increments of native oaks Qucrcus robur and *** and Scots pine Pinus *** aimed to increase our understanding of the relationship between facilitation and competition between woody alien species and overstory native *** established 72 circular plots(0.05 ha)in two different forest habitat types and stands varying in age in western *** chose plots with different abundances of the studied neophytes to determine how effects scaled along the quantitative invasion ***,we collected growth cores of the studied native species,and we calculated aboveground biomass increments at the tree and stand ***,we used generalized linear mixed-effects models to assess the impact of invasive species abundances on relative aboveground biomass increments of native tree *** did not find a biologically or statistically significant impact of invasive *** or *** on the relative aboveground,biomass increments of native oaks and pines along the quantitative gradient of invader biomass or on the proportion of total stand biomass accounted for by *** neophytes did not act as native tree growth stimulators but also did not compete with them for resources,which would escalate the negative impact of climate change on pines and *** neophytes should not significantly modify the carbon sequestration capacity of the native *** work combines elements of the per capita effect of invasion with research on mixed forest management.

chemical leaching of coals would be required to produce cleaner coals for some special applications where physical benefi-ciation may not be effective *** would also help in recovering Li and rare earth metals besides in the sequestration of cO_(2).About 20 Indian coals having complexly distributed moderate to high ash contents were sequentially treated with various alkali–acid such as NaOH-Hcl,HF,Hcl,Hcl-HF,and NaOH-Hcl-HF *** aimed to establish and design the best stepwise sequential process for the highest degree of demineralisation through a chemical leaching *** and process intensification studies were carried *** than 80%demineralisation of Madhaipur and Neemcha coals was observed using the best sequential treatment designed *** repeated stepwise treatment of the alkali and the acid was also studied,which was found to significantly enhance the degree of demineralisation of *** integrated process of alkali–acid leaching followed by solvent extraction(Organo-refining)and vice versa of the treated coal was also studied for producing cleaner coals.

Deformation control constitutes one of the main technological challenges in three dimensional(3D)concrete printing,and it presents a challenge that must be addressed to achieve a precise and reliable construction ***-based information of the expected deformations and stresses is required to optimize the construction process in association with the specific properties of the concrete *** this work,a novel thermodynamically consistent finite strain constitutive model for fresh and early-age 3D-printable concrete is *** model is then used to simulate the 3D concrete printing process to assess layer shapes,deformations,forces acting on substrate layers and prognoses of possible structural collapse during the layer-by-layer *** constitutive formulation is based on a multiplicative split of the deformation gradient into elastic,aging and viscoplastic parts,in combination with a hyperelastic potential and considering evolving material properties to account for structural buildup or *** advantage of this model is the stress-update-scheme,which is similar to that of small strain plasticity and therefore enables an efficient integration with existing material *** constitutive model uses the particle finite element method,which serves as the simulation framework,allowing for modeling of the evolving free surfaces during the extrusion *** analyses of three printed layers are used to create deformation plots,which can then be used to control the deformations during 3D concrete *** study offers further investigations,on the structural level,focusing on the potential structural collapse of a 3D printed concrete *** capability of the proposed model to simulate 3D concrete printing processes across the scales—from a few printed layers to the scale of the whole printed structure—in a unified fashion with one constitutive formulation,is demonstrated.

Nuclear power plants exhibit non-linear and time-variable ***,designing a control system that sets the reactor power and forces it to follow the desired load is complicated.A supercritical water reactor(ScWR)is a fourth-generation conceptual *** an ScWR,the non-linear dynamics of the reactor require a controller capable of control-ling the *** this study,a pressure-tube-type ScWR was controlled during reactor power maneuvering with a higher order sliding mode,and the reactor outgoing steam temperature and pressure were controlled *** an ScWR,the temperature,pressure,and power must be maintained at a setpoint(desired value)during power *** point kinetics equations with three groups of delayed neutrons were used in the ***-order and classic sliding mode controllers were separately manufactured to control the plant and were compared with the PI controllers speci-fied in previous *** controlled parameters were reactor power,steam temperature,and ***,for these parameters,the PI controller had certain instabilities in the presence of *** classic sliding mode controller had a higher accuracy and stability;however its main drawback was the chattering *** was highly accurate and stable and had a small computational *** reality,it followed the desired values without oscillations and chattering.
