A hybrid heterojunction-based photocatalyst is synthesized by an electrostatic self-assembly strategy including surface modification and controlled metal *** interfacial contact was made by mixing negatively charged anatase TiO_(2) nanoparticles with positively charged ***-light deposition of Pd nanoparticles largely on TiO_(2) was made possible due to the charge transfer from C_(3)N_(4)(excited by visible light)to the conduction band of TiO_(2) reducing Pd ions on contact with its *** order to further test the efficiency of this cascade of electron transfer across the conduction bands of the two semiconductors,photocatalytic H2 production from water was *** optimizing the ratio of the two semiconductors,increased H2 production rates were observed and attributed to enhanced charge *** were studied by a variety of techniques in order to probe into their properties and link them to *** reaction rate,under visible-light excitation,of the best sample showed an 8-fold enhancement when compared to that of Pd-C_(3)N_(4) in identical conditions and the highest apparent quantum yield of 31%was achieved by a 0.1% Pd/20%TiO_(2)/C_(3)N_(4) sample in a 420-to 443-nm range.

针对流固耦合传热问题,本文提出了一种基于浸没边界–简化热格子玻尔兹曼方法 (immersed boundary method–simplified thermal lattice Boltzmann method,IB-STLBM)的耦合模型.不同于传统的格子玻尔兹曼方法使用分布函数演化流场和温度场,简化热格子玻尔兹曼方法 (simplified thermal lattice Boltzmann method,STLBM)的演化过程不需要依赖分布函数,只涉及平衡态分布函数和非平衡态分布函数,能够直接演化宏观量,极大减小了计算过程中所占用的虚拟内存,简化了边界条件的实现方式,同时具有较高的稳定性.传统的浸没边界法对流场的计算采用欧拉网格,对固体边界采用拉格朗日网格,认为固体边界是对流场产生某种体积力.在应用浸没边界法时,汲取介观的思想,把固体的介入看作是对流场的干扰,打破了固体附近流体介观微团颗粒原始的平衡状态,这种干扰可以看作是在耦合边界上产生的一个非平衡项,可用非平衡态分布函数来表示.基于此,在模型中浸没边界法与简化热格子玻尔兹曼方法更紧密联系在一起,更大程度发挥二者的优点,整个计算过程更加简单直观,符合物理特性.通过对热圆柱绕流和内含热颗粒的封闭方腔自然对流问题的模拟以及对其结果的分析,验证了该算法在求解流固耦合传热问题的有效性和可行性.

Present study is aimed at assessment of geotechnical properties of Laki limestone as coarse aggregate which is being quarried in Nooriabad area,Sindh,*** aggregate samples(n=20)of limestone were collected for the evaluation of physico-mechanical properties of the *** analysis revealed that the aggregate comprises of hard,compact,massive,crystalline and fossiliferous *** is devoid of any reactive silica(chert,chalcedony)and other harmful constituents like clays or organic *** values of specific gravity,absorption,bulk density,void content and combined index(EI+FI)of collected samples are 2.5,2.1%,1.54 g/cc,38.55%and 13.04%*** values of specific gravity(2.3-2.9),absorption(0-8%),bulk density(1.28 g/cc-1.92 g/cc)and void content(30%-45%)are varying within the range of normal weight aggregate as per American concrete institute(ACI)*** the other hand,absorption values of aggregate samples are slightly higher(2.1%)than the reference range(2%)but meet other *** properties including aggregate impact value(8.58%),aggregate crushing value(26.66%),Loss Angeles abrasion value(24.77%),sodium sulfate soundness(4.72%),water soluble sulfate(0.006%)and water soluble chloride(0.005%)are found to be within corresponding guidelines set by *** the other hand,average carbonate content is found to be 89.64%indicating that Laki limestone is of slightly low *** absorption,all physical and mechanical properties lie within specified *** is concluded that Laki limestone is suitable for use as road aggregate and concrete mix design.

Glycation is a non-enzymatic post-translational modification which assigns sugar molecule and residues to a *** is a clinically important attribute to numerous age-related,metabolic,and chronic diseases such as diabetes,Alzheimer’s,renal failure,*** of a non-enzymatic reaction are quite challenging in *** identification in labs is a very costly and timeconsuming *** this research,we developed an accurate,valid,and a robust model named as Gly-LysPred to differentiate the glycated sites from non-glycated *** techniques using position relative features are used for feature *** algorithm named as a random forest with some preprocessing techniques and feature engineering techniques was developed to train a computational *** types of testing techniques such as self-consistency testing,jackknife testing,and cross-validation testing are used to evaluate the *** overall model’s accuracy was accomplished through self-consistency,jackknife,and cross-validation testing 100%,99.92%,and 99.88%with MCC 1.00,0.99,and 0.997 *** this regard,a user-friendly webserver is also urbanized to accumulate the whole *** features vectorization methods suggest that they can play a critical role in other web servers which are developed to classify lysine glycation.

The uncertainty in solar energy is different from conventional,dispatchable generation fuels and difficult to incorporate into the standard system operating *** the first part of this work,the machine learning algorithm is used to train models based on solar irradiance data and different meteorological weather information to predict the solar irradiance for different cities to validate the forecasting ***,the intermittent and inertialess nature of photovoltaic(PV)systems can produce significant power oscillations that can cause significant problems with dynamic stability of the power system and also limit the penetration capacity of PV into the *** the second part,it is shown that the residue-based power oscillation damping(POD)controller obviously improves the inter-area oscillation *** validity and effectiveness of the proposed controller are demonstrated on the three-machine two-area test system that combines the conventional synchronous generator and flexible alternating current transmission systems(FACTS)device using *** report overall puts an in-depth analysis with regard to the challenges of solar resources with integrating,planning,operating,and particularly the stability of the rest of the power grid,including existing generation resources,customer requirements,and the transmission system itself that will lead to an improved decision making in resource allocations and grid stability.

In this paper, building to grid(B2G) and vehicle to grid(V2G) have been defined with clear and practical understanding. Both of them are new generation technologies which are the essential part of smart city living and crowd energy clustering. Firstly, an in-detailed overview has been provided with an introduction to B2G and V2G followed by a historical overview and theoretical analysis in respect to smart city planning. Next, a review is conducted on current and previous smart living research, which deals with B2G and V2G. Efficient B2G and V2G implementations in practical cases then have been discussed. Lastly, both of these technical prospects have been analyzed in crowd energy diagram.

Vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANETs)are mobile networks that use and transfer data with vehicles as the network ***,VANETs are essentially mobile ad-hoc networks(MANETs).They allow all the nodes to communicate and connect with one *** of the main requirements in a VANET is to provide self-decision capability to the *** memory,which stores all the previous routes,is used by the vehicles to choose the optimal *** networks,communication is *** cellular-based vehicle-to-everything(CV2X)communication,vital information is shared using the cooperative awareness message(CAM)that is broadcast by each *** are allocated in a distributed manner,which is known as Mode 4 *** support vector machine(SVM)algorithm is used in the SVM-CV2X-M4 system proposed in this *** k-fold model with different values of k is used to evaluate the accuracy of the SVM-CV2XM4 *** results show that the proposed system achieves an accuracy of 99.6%.Thus,the proposed system allows vehicles to choose the optimal route and is highly convenient for users.
