In this study,we investigate the collapsing scenario for the k-essence emergent Vaidya spacetime in the context of massive gravity's *** this study,we consider that the background metric is Vaidya spacetime in massive gravity's *** show that the k-essence emergent gravity metric closely resembles the new type of generalized Vaidya massive gravity metric with the rainbow deformations for null fluid collapse,where we consider the k-essence scalar field as a function solely of the advanced or the retarded *** k-essence emergent Vaidya massive gravity rainbow mass function is also *** new type k-essence emergent Vaidya massive gravity rainbow metric satisfies the required energy *** existence of a locally naked central singularity and the strength and strongness of the singularities for the rainbow deformations of the k-essence emergent Vaidya massive gravity metric are the interesting outcomes of the present work.

A new model is developed to study the microwave/mm wave characteristics of two-terminal GaNbased transfer electron devices（TEDs）,namely a Gunn diode and an impact avalanche transit time（IMPATT） *** characteristics such as device efficiency and the microwave power generated are computed and compared at D-band（140 GHz center frequency） to see the potentiality of each device under the same operating *** is seen that GaN-based IMPATT devices surpass the Gunn diode in the said frequency region.

Understanding the stability and current-carrying capacity of graphene spintronic devices is key to their applications in graphene channel-based spin current sensors,spin-torque oscillators,and potential spin-integrated ***,despite the demonstrated high current densities in exfoliated graphene,the current-carrying capacity of large-scale chemical vapor deposited(CVD)graphene is not ***,the grainy nature of chemical vapor deposited graphene and the presence of a tunnel barrier in CVD graphene spin devices pose questions about the stability of high current electrical spin *** this work,we observe that despite structural imperfections,CVD graphene sustains remarkably highest currents of 5.2×10^(8)A/cm^(2),up to two orders higher than previously reported values in multilayer CVD graphene,with the capacity primarily dependent upon the sheet resistance of ***,we notice a reversible regime,up to which CVD graphene can be operated without degradation with operating currents as high as 108 A/cm^(2),significantly high and durable over long time of operation with spin valve signals observed up to such high current *** the same time,the tunnel barrier resistance can be modified by the application of high *** results demonstrate the robustness of large-scale CVD graphene and bring fresh insights for engineering and harnessing pure spin currents for innovative device applications.

BACkGROUND The overuse and misuse of antimicrobials contribute significantly to antimicrobial resistance(AMR),which is a global public health *** has particularly high rates of AMR,posing a threat to effective *** World Health Or-ganization(WHO)Access,Watch,Reserve(AWaRe)classification system was introduced to address this issue and guide appropriate antibiotic ***,there is a lack of studies examining the prescribing patterns of antimi-crobials using the AWaRe classification,especially in North ***,this study aimed to assess the prescribing patterns of antimicrobials using the WHO AWaRe classification in a tertiary care centre in North ***,Obstetrics and Gynecology).Metronidazole and ceftriaxone were the most prescribed *** to the AWaRe classification,57.61%of antibiotics fell under the Access category,38.27%in Watch,and 4.11%in *** Access antibiotics were prescribed within the Medicine department,and the same department also exhibited a higher frequency of Watch antibiotics *** questionnaire survey showed that only a third of participants were aware of the AWaRe classification,and there was a lack of knowledge regarding AMR and the potential impact of AWaRe *** The research was carried out in accordance with the methodology presented in Figure 1.A total of n=123 patients were enrolled in this study,with each of them receiving antibiotic *** majority of these prescriptions were issued to inpatients(75.4%),and both the Medicine and Surgical departments were equally represented,accounting for 49.6%and 50.4%,*** the healthcare providers responsible for prescribing antibiotics,72%were Junior Residents,18.7%were Senior Residents,and 9.3%were *** findings have been summarized in Table *** prescriptions included 27 different antibiotics,with metronidazole being the most prescribed(19%)followed by ceftriaxone(17%).Th

The present study analyzes the reflection and transmission phenomenon of water-waves in a two-layer ice-covered system. The upper layer is covered by an ice-sheet, whereas the bottom of the lower layer is undulated and permeable. By using regular perturbation analysis and Fourier transform technique, the problem is solved and the first order reflection and transmission coefficients are determined. It is found that these coefficients depend on the shape as well as the permeability of the undulating bottom. Therefore, from the practical viewpoint, an undulating bottom topography is considered to determine all the aforesaid coefficients. The role of various system parameters, such as porosity, angle of incidence and ice parameters, are discussed to analyze the transformation of incident water wave energy from one layer to another layer. The outcomes are demonstrated in graphical forms.

Model based odia numeral recognition using fuzzy aggregated features

In this paper, an efficient scheme for recognition of handwritten Odia numerals using hidden markov model （HMM） has been proposed. Three different feature vectors for each of the numeral is generated through a polygonal approximation of object contour. Subsequently, aggregated feature vector for each numeral is derived from these three primary feature vectors using a fuzzy inference system. The final feature vector is divided into three levels and interpreted as three different states for HMM. Ten different three-state ergodic hidden markov models （HMMs） are thus constructed corresponding to ten numeral classes and parameters are calculated from these models. For the recognition of a probe numeral, its log-likelihood against these models are computed to decide its class label. The proposed scheme is implemented on a dataset of 2500 handwritten samples and a recognition accuracy of 96.3% has been achieved. The scheme is compared with other competent schemes.

A generalized large-signal computer simulation program for a Gunn oscillator has been developed. The properties of a Gunn diode oscillator based on the widely explored GaN, are investigated using the developed program. The results show some interesting properties in GaN Gunn diodes which are not seen in GaAs and InP diodes. An output power of 1400 kW/cm^2 is achieved from the GaN Gunn diode, as compared to 4.9 kW/cm^2 from a GaAs diode.

This paper studies the thermal-diffusion and diffusion thermo-effects in the hydro-magnetic unsteady flow by a mixed convection boundary layer past an imperme- able vertical stretching sheet in a porous medium in the presence of chemical reaction. The velocity of t^he stretching surface, the surface temperature, and the concentration are assumed to vary linearly with the distance along the surface. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into self-similar unsteady equations using similarity transformations .and solved numerically by the Runge-kutta fourth order scheme in as- sociation with the shooting method for the whole transient domain from the initial state to the final steady state flow. Numerical results for the velocity, the temperature, the concentration, the skin friction, and the Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are shown graph- ically for various flow parameters. The results reveal that there is a smooth transition of flow from unsteady state to the final steady state. A special case of our results is in good agreement with an earlier published work.
