In this investigation,the effect of friction stir welding(FSW)parameters such as tool material rotational speed,and welding speed on the mechanical properties of tensile strength,hardness and impact energy of magnesium alloy AZ31B was *** experiments were carried out as per Taguchi parametric design concepts and an L9 orthogonal array was used to study the influence of various combinations of process *** optimization technique,ANOVA,was used to determine the optimum levels and to find the significance of each process *** results indicate that rotational speed(RS)and traverse speed(TS)are the most significant factors,followed by tool material(TM),in deciding the mechanical properties of friction stir processed magnesium *** addition,mathematical models were developed to establish relationship between different process variables and mechanical properties.

Understanding the material flow facilitated by tool geometry in friction stir welds is challenging for quality weld production in industrial *** optimal tool shoulder and pin design combination,which plays a vital role in material flow was *** flow of plasticized material was analyzed using a marker insert *** results show that the knurling shoulder design with square and hexagonal pin design facilitated constant stability force with reference to weld length/*** uniform mixing and distribution of plasticized material were facilitated by the knurling shoulder design with square tool pin shape(TK)S(sticking length minimum)below which fragmented copper was observed.(TK)S tool facilitated higher mechanical properties for the welds,***(182 MPa)and hardness(HV 78)in stir zone.

The distributed generators in the radial distribution network are to improve the Grid performance and its *** Distributed Generators control the PV bus;it is converted as a remote controlled PVQ *** PVQ bus reduces the power loss and reactive ***,the distributed generators were placed in the system using mathematical modelling or the *** approach improves the efficiency but it has no effect in loss *** minimize the loss the reconfigured network with Genetic algorithm based Distributed generator placement proposed as existing *** approach minimizes the loss effectively;but the genetic algorithm takes more time for DG ***,in this,the network reconfiguration is performed using a modified Satin bower bird algorithm after DG placement and DG ***,the sensitive analysis applied the loadflow analysis to identify the optimal placement for the distributed ***,the modified Satin Bowerbird(SBO)used for the network *** approach minimizes the loss of effectively by combining the network reconfiguration *** proposed modified SBO-based network reconfiguration implemented on standard bus systems 33 and 69 using MATLAB R2021b version under Windows 10 *** proposed approach compared with the existing work in terms of real power loss and loss reduction.

Recommendation systems are going to be an integral part of any E-Business in near *** in any other E-business,recommendation systems also play a key role in the travel business where the user has to be recommended with a restaurant that best suits *** general,the recommendations to a user are made based on similarity that exists between the intended user and the other *** similarity can be calculated either based on the similarity between the user profiles or the similarity between the ratings made by the *** phase of this work concentrates on experimentally analyzing both these models and get a deep insight of these *** the lessons learned from the insights,second phase of the work concentrates on developing a deep learning *** model does not depend on the other user's profile or rating made by *** model is tested with a small restaurant dataset and the model can predict whether a user likes the restaurant or *** model is trained with different users and their *** system learns from it and in order to predict whether a new user likes or not a restaurant that he/she has not visited earlier,all the data the trained model needed is the rating made by the same user for different *** model is deployed in a cloud environment in order to extend it to be more realistic product in *** evaluated with dataset,it achieves 74.6%is accurate prediction of results,where as existing techniques achieves only 64%.

The influence of different welding processes on the mechanical properties and the corresponding variation in the microstructural features have been investigated for the dissimilar weldments of 18% Ni maraging steel 250 and AISI 4130 steel. The weld joints are realized through two different fusion welding processes, tungsten inert arc welding(TIG) and laser beam welding(LBW), in this study. The dissimilar steel welds were characterized through optical microstructures, microhardness survey across the weldment and evaluation of tensile properties. The fiber laser beam welds have demonstrated superior mechanical properties and reduced heat affected zone as compared to the TIG weldments.

The hydrology of Himalayan region is influenced by temperature lapse rate(TLAPS)and precipitation lapse rate(PLAPS).Therefore,hydrological modeling considering TLAPS and PLAPS is crucial to manage the water resources in these *** this research,Himalayan Gandak River basin is considered as the study area where TLAPS and PLAPS vary significantly due to high altitude of *** assess the impact of TLAPS and PLAPS on water balance components,Soil Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)model was calibrated(2000-2007)and validated(2008-2014)on daily time step for three projects i.e.,Reference Project(RP),Snowmelt Project(SP)and distributed elevation band snowmelt project(SWAT-ETISM).The analysis discloses that SWAT-ETISM model(which has TLAPS and PLAPS parameters)outperforms the RP and the SP models in predicting streamflow with improved statistical indicators R2=0.88,NSE=0.84 and PBIAS=***,it was observed that SWAT-ETISM model comprehensively improved the streamflow statistics by improving the snow water equivalent and water balance components through the consideration of TLAPS and PLAPS values for the ***,the proposed SWAT-ETISM model can be used for estimation of the water budget at the high-altitude and data scarce alpine Himalayan regions and worldwide,where PLAPS and TLAPS are substantial due to altitudinal variation.

Gastric cancer is one of the most lethal cancers worldwide despite many advances and options in therapy. As it is often diagnosed at an advanced stage, prognosis is poor with a median overall survival of less than twelve months. Chemotherapy remains the mainstay of treatment for these patients but it confersonly a moderate survival advantage. There remains a need for new targeted treatment options and a way to better define patient populations who will benefit from these agents. In the past few years, there has been a better understanding of the biology, molecular profiling, and heterogeneity of gastric cancer. Our increased knowledge has led to the identification of gastric cancer subtypes and to the development of new targeted therapeutic agents. There are now two new targeted agents, trastuzumab and ramucirumab, that have recently been approved for the treatment of advanced and metastatic gastric cancer. There are also many other actively investigated targets, including epidermal growth factor receptor, the phosphatadylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin pathway, c-Met, poly ADP-ribose polymerase, and immune checkpoint inhibition. In this review, we discuss the current management of advanced gastric cancer as well as emerging targeted therapies and immunotherapy.

Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+:Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors, synthesized by chemical co-precipitation technique were characterized through XRD,FESEM,dynamic light scattering(DLS),diffuse reflectance, photoluminescence, photometric and decay time analysis. The enhancement of about～28, ～149 and ～351 times in the green upconversion emission band is observed for the optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors in comparison to the singly Er^(3+) doped nanophosphors. The electric dipole-dipole interaction is found to be responsible for the concentration quenching. The temperature dependent behaviour of the two green thermally coupled levels of the Er^(3+) ions based on the fluorescence intensity ratio technique was studied. The maximum sensor sensitivity ～38.7 × 10^(-3) K^(-1) at 473 K for optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+) codoped Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors is reported with maximum population redistribution ability～88% among the ~2H_(11/2) and ~4S_(3/2) levels.
