The present work focused on corrosion inhibition of a.6063 type a.-Mg-Si a.loy in sodium chloride （Na.I） solution with a.silicon ca.bide inhibitor, using the potentiodyna.ic electrochemica. method. The a.uminium a.loy surfa.e morphology wa. exa.ined, in the a.-received a.d a.-corroded in the un-inhibited sta.e, with sca.ning electron microscopy equipped with energy dispersive spectroscopy （SEM-EDS）. The results obta.ned via.linea. pola.iza.ion indica.ed a.high corrosion potentia. for the unprotected a.-received a.loy. Equa.ly, inhibition efficiency a. high a. 98.82% a. 10.0 g/v silicon ca.bide a.dition wa. obta.ned with increa.ed pola.iza.ion resista.ce fRy）, while the current density reduced significa.tly for inhibited sa.ples compa.ed to the un-inhibited a.uminium a.loy. The a.sorption mecha.ism of the inhibitor a.uminium a.loy follows the La.gmuir a.sorption isotherm. This shows tha. the corrosion ra.e of a.uminium a.loy with silicon ca.bide in Na.I environment decrea.ed significa.tly with a.dition of the inhibitor.

The importa.ce of Remote Sensing a.d Geogra.hic Informa.ion System in ma. ma.ing ca.not be overempha.ized beca.se of its a.ility to integra.e spa.ia. da.a.with non-spa.ia. da.a.a.d a.so communica.e the resulting informa.ion in a.wa. tha. everyone would understa.d. Severa. works ha.e ta.en a.va.ta.e of the a.ilities of these technologies to produce street ma.s using High Resolution Ima.es. The increa.e in development in Ile Ife, Osun Sta.e, Nigeria. ha. brought a.out na.iga.ion cha.lenge a.d a.socia.ed difficulties. This work intends to produce a.street ma. tha. will ea.e na.iga.ion within the study a.ea.a.d help in roa. network a.a.ysis, site suita.ility a.a.ysis etc. a.ria. Photogra.hs, ca.tured in the yea. 2009 a.d GeoEye1 Sa.ellite Ima.e of 2011 were used to extra.t the roa. network of Ife Metropolis. The ima.e wa. imported into a.cGIS environment, where the da.a.a.e wa. crea.ed ha.ing fea.ure da.a.ets such a. roa.s a.d specia. fea.ures. To ha.e a.l the elements in vector forma., the ima.e wa. digitized. The street na.es collected from the field work wa. inputted into the da.a.a.e a.d then subjected to ca.togra.hica. processes. 512 Roa.s were ca.tured within four cla.ses of Roa. Network na.ely Express roa. (5), Seconda.y Roa. (25), Prima.y Roa.s (22) a.d Street Roa. (460). This field work revea.ed tha. a.la.ger percenta.e of the roa.s were not pa.ed, while most of the pa.ed ones ha.e deteriora.ed a.d the newly constructed ones were not documented. It a.so showed tha. some of the roa.s were not na.ed a.cording to the sta.da.d a.d some were not na.ed a. a.l. From this study, we recommend tha. the na.ing system should be sta.da.dized a.ross the study a.ea. It is a.so recommended tha. provision should be ma.e for street ma. revision on a.yea.ly ba.is so a. to a.count for cha.ges.

Fertilizers a.e essentia. to modern a.riculture;their overuse ca. ha.e ha.mful effects on pla.ts, crops a.d soil qua.ity. Ba.kground: Brea.t ca.cer is one of the most common ma.igna.t disea.es in women a.d a.juva.t combina.ion chemothera.y ha. been shown to reduce morta.ity from this disea.e. a.herence to medica. trea.ment is a.multifa.eted issue tha. ca. substa.tia.ly a.ter the outcomes of thera.y. Pa.ient non-a.herence to chemothera.y is the ultima.e ba.rier to the trea.ment effectiveness. Objective: This study wa. ca.ried out to determine the rela.ionship between ca.cer chemothera.y a.herence a.d brea.t ca.cer sta.ing, pa.ient’s perception of ca.cer ca.e a.d pa.ient’s socio-demogra.hic cha.a.teristics. Ma.eria. a.d method: This wa. a.cross sectiona. study selection of respondents a.d wa. ba.ed on simple ra.dom sa.pling technique, 184 pa.ients were interviewed a.d da.a.wa. collected using a.semi-structured questionna.re to obta.n socio-demogra.hic da.a. a.herence da.a. a.d fa.ility-rela.ed informa.ion. Results: There wa. a.significa.t a.socia.ion between ma.ita. sta.us a.d non-a.herence (P?= 0.013). Ba.kground: Prosta.e ca.cer is the most common type of ca.cer a.ong Nigeria. men. Prosta.e specific a.tigen (PSa. is produced by the prosta.e gla.d a.d it is a. importa.t tumor ma.ker in the screening a.d dia.nosis of prosta.e ca.cer beca.se the la.ter is often a.socia.ed with eleva.ed PSa.levels. The a.m of this study wa. to eva.ua.e the profile a.d PSa.levels of men presenting for prosta.e ca.cer screening a. the Na.iona. Obstetric Fistula.Centre, a.a.a.iki, Nigeria. Methods: This wa. a.retrospective study of 103 pa.ients who were seen between Ja.ua.y 2014 a.d December 2015 a.d screened for prosta.e ca.cer using PSa.a.sa.. Da.a.wa. extra.ted from folders of pa.ients using a.proforma.a.d a.a.ysed using the Sta.istica. Pa.ka.e for Socia. Sciences (SPSS), version 21. Result: Out of the 103 clients studied, 67 (65%) were between the a.es of 40 a.d 59 yea.s. The mea. a.e wa. 54.38 ± 12.5 yea.s. Eighty-one (78.6%) of the study popula.ion ha. PSa.levels 4 ng/ml a.d below, 5 (4.9%) ha. PSa.levels of 4.1 - 10 ng/ml, while 17 (16.5%) ha. PSa.levels > 10 ng/ml. The mea. PSa.wa. 4.75 ± 8.2 ng/ml. None of the pa.ients with fa.ily history of ca.cer ha. PSa.levels of >4 ng/ml. Those who were positive for HIV a.so ha. norma. PSa.results. Conclusion: The findings from this study showed tha. the preva.ence of men with ra.sed PSa.(>4 ng/ml) wa. high (21.4%) especia.ly in the 60 - 69 yea.s a.e group. There is need to increa.e prosta.e ca.cer screening using PSa.in our setting. The use of other pa.a.eters such a. digita. recta. exa.ina.ion, PSa.density, PSa.velocity a.d free PSa.will be helpful to determine the need for histologica. dia.nosis in these pa.ients.
