Activating transcription factor 2(ATF2)is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins that are responsible for regulating various genes that play an essential role in major biological and cellular *** ATF2 plays a vital role in cellular proliferation and apoptosis,it is believed that it greatly affects the development of breast ***,its exact role in breast cancer is incompletely *** remains a subject of debate,ambiguity,and continuous *** studies have suggested the role of ATF2 as an oncogene,promoting cellular proliferation and worsening the outcome of *** contrast,other studies have postulated that ATF2 plays a tumor suppressive role in estrogen receptor-positive breast *** ambiguity surrounding its role in breast cancer is the reason why there is an influx of recent studies and research in this *** this narrative review,we investigate several studies that have been published about the role of ATF2 in breast *** also explore studies that have examined the association between ATF2 and endocrine therapy ***2 has been suggested to modulate estrogen receptor(ER)expression and activity,potentially affecting tamoxifen sensitivity in breast cancer ***,the role of ATF2 in DNA repair mechanisms and drug resistance has been deeply explored in this ***,there are numerous ongoing clinical trials exploring the effect of targeting ATF2 pathways and mechanisms on the outcome of breast cancers,some of which we have *** studies and clinical trials that are being conducted to understand the multifaceted role of ATF2 and its signaling pathways may provide valuable insight for developing efficient targeted therapeutic solutions to enhance the outcomes of breast cancer and overcome endocrine *** suggest further research to elucidate the dual roles of ATF2 in breast cancer and potential therapeutic therapies for its treatment.

Assessment and management of immature facial scars by non-surgical methods

Objective:The activity of enzymes participating in the systems of antioxidant protection was assayed in the peel and pulp of *** essential roles of proteases in food stimulate research to find other sources of the enzyme especially from non-conventional *** the present work,we study several biochemical parameters in the pulp and peel of ***:Pulp and peel of sunflower was extracted,antioxidant enzymes and nonenzymatic antioxidant were *** protease was measured and purified from pulp in ***:High carbohydrate concentration,beta-carotene,catalase and ascorbate peroxidase activities,free radical scavenging capacity and free flavonoid content were observed in the peel of ***,MDA and ceruloplasmin activities were high in the pulp of ***:The present study concluded that peel in sunflower are strong radical scavengers and can be considered as good sources of natural antioxidants for medicinal and commercial *** analysis showed that protease activity was a significantly high in the pulp compared to the peel.

Dust Plasma Effect on the Etching Process of Si[100] by Ultra Low Frequency RF Plasma

Dust-plasma interactions play vital roles in numerous observed phenomena in the space environment, their scope in the industrial laboratory has grown rapidly in recent times to include such diverse areas as materials processing, microelectronics, lighting and nuclear fusion. The etching processes of Si wafer has been studied using Ultra low frequency RF plasma (ULFP) at (1 KHz) by two different techniques namely: ion etching using inert gas only (e.g., argon gas), and ion chemical etching using an active gas (beside the inert gas) such as oxygen. In the case of large dust particle, the dust might act as a floating body in the plasma collecting equal fluxes of electrons and ions. The velocity of the ions flux out from the mesh (cathode) and cause ion sputtering for the sample (Si-Wafer) measured, moreover the rate coefficient for collection of electrons and ions by dust (K) is calculated here, the presence of dust, however, may itself cause loss process. As the plasma density increases, the etching rate increases and the volumetric rate of loss of electron and ions due to dust particle increases (K). A comparison between the volumetric rate of loss (K) due to ion chemical etching (75% Ar/25% O2) and ion etching (Pure Ar) has been carried out.

Antioxidant activity and total phenolic content of essential oils and extracts of sweet basil(Ocimum basilicum L.)plants

The present study was conducted to evaluate the chemical composition and antioxidant activity of the essential oils and ethanol extracts of Ocimum basilicum *** from Assiut,Minia and BeniSuef of *** major constituents of sweet basil essential oils from three locations were linalool,estragole,methyl cinnamate,bicyclosesquiphellandrene,eucalyptol,-bergamotene,eugenol,-cadinene and germacrene D by the method of GC–*** relative concentration of these compounds *** basil extracts contained appreciable levels of total phenolic contents and exhibited good DPPH radical scavenging capacity higher than that of essential *** highest TPC(82.45 mg PE/g)and maximum radical scavenging activity with IC50 value(1.29 mg/mL)was obtained from Minia basil *** correlation between antioxidant activity and total phenolic contents of basil extracts was *** variation in free radical scavenging activity of essential oils was *** essential oil from Minia basil showed high activity in DPPH radical scavenging with IC50(11.23 mg/mL)and contained the highest content of phenolic(41.3 mg PE/g).On contrary,low correlation between antioxidant activity and total phenolic contents of basil essential oils from different *** results of the present investigation demonstrated significant variations in the antioxidant activities of sweet basil essential oils and extracts from Egypt.

A diffusion-weighted imaging based diagnostic system for early detection of prostate cancer

A new framework for early diagnosis of prostate cancer using Diffusion-Weighted Imaging (DWI) is proposed. The proposed diagnostic approach consists of the following four steps to detect locations that are suspicious for prostate cancer: 1) In the first step, we isolate the prostate from the surrounding anatomical structures based on a Maximum A Posteriori (MAP) estimate of a new log-likelihood function that accounts for the shape priori, the spatial interaction, and the current appearance of prostate tissues and its background (surrounding anatomical structures);2) In order to take into account any local deformation between the segmented prostates at different b-values that could occur during the scanning process due to local motion, a non-rigid registration algorithm is employed;3) A KNN-based classifier is used to classify the prostate into benign or malignant based on three appearance features extracted from registered images;and 4) The tumor boundaries are determined using a level set deformable model controlled by the diffusion information and the spatial interactions between the prostate voxels. Preliminary experiments on 28 patients (17 malignant and 11 benign) resulted in 100% correct classification, showing that the proposed method is a promising supplement to current technologies (biopsy-based diagnostic systems) for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer.

In this paper,a recurrent neural network(RNN)is used to estimate uncertainties and implement feedback control for nonlinear dynamic *** neural network approximates the uncertainties related to unmodeled dynamics,parametric variations,and external *** RNN has a single hidden layer and uses the tracking error and the output as feedback to estimate the *** RNN weights are online adapted,and the adaptation laws are developed from the stability analysis of the controlled system with the RNN *** used activation function,at the hidden layer,has an expression that simplifies the adaptation laws from the stability *** is found that the adaptive RNN enhances the tracking performance of the feedback controller at the transient and steady state *** proposed RNN based feedback control is applied to a DC–DC converter for current *** and experimental results are provided to show its *** to the feedforward neural network and the conventional feedback control,the RNN based feedback control provides good tracking performance.

Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy(CRRT)serves as an intervention strategy for the management of acute kidney injury(AKl)in critically ill ***,owing to its complex nature and the potential for com-plications,the implementation of CRRT demands continuous monitoring to prevent patient safety *** study aims to identify and validate prevalent risks linked to CRRT within a real-world clinical setting,intending to propose preventive measures grounded in expert *** systematically categorize and visually depict the risks,their consequences,preventive measures,and recovery controls,our study employed the Bowtie method in conjunction with the Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety(SEIPS)*** addition to considering patient-related factors that exhibit variability among critically ill individuals,our key findings showed that the most influential risks impacting the effective delivery of CRRT are incidents of clotted filters,bleeding risks arising from the necessity of anticoagulation for filter efficacy,vascular catheter-related bloodstream infections,variations in proficiency levels among healthcare professionals regarding CRRT modalities,especially in oper-ating the CRRT machines,high nursing workload,frequent nursing turnover,occurrences of hypophosphatemia,variability in CRRT prescribing patterns,and issues related to communication among *** research sheds light on the primary risks associated with CRRT and provides practical and viable strategies for effective ***,the Bowtie diagram developed as part of this study serves as a valuable tool for visually representing the healthcare system and facilitating the identification of system-related risks within healthcare settings.
