Influence of Cu doping in Magnesium Hydroxide Nanoparticles for Bandgap Engineering

Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2) nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations from 0 to 10%by a chemical synthesis technique of coprecipitation.X-rays diffraction (XRD) of the samples confirms that all the samples acquire the hexagonal crystal *** results indicated the solubility limit of dopant in the host material and the secondary phase of CuO was observed beyond 3%Cu doping in Mg(OH)_(2).The reduction in the size of nanoparticles was observed from 166 to 103 nm for Mg(OH)_(2) and 10% Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2)samples,*** shift in absorption spectra exhibited the systematical enhancement in optical bandgap from 5.25 to 6.085 eV.A good correlation was observed between the bandgap energy and crystallite size of the nanocrystals which confirmed the size induced effect in the *** transformation in the sample morphology was observed from irregular spherical particles to sepals like shapes with increasing the Cu concentration in the host *** energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis confirmed the purity of mass percentage composition of the elements present in the samples.

The most critical drawback in currently used steel reinforcement in reinforced concrete(RC)structures is susceptibility to accumulation of plastic deformation under excessive *** concrete structures due to damaged(yielded)steel reinforcement have undergone costly repairs and *** research presents a new type of shape memory alloy(SMA)-based composite reinforcement with ability to withstand high elongation while exhibiting pseudoelastic *** this study,small diameter SMA wires are embedded in thermoset resin matrix with or without additional glass fibers to develop composite *** technique of new proposed composite is validated using microscopy *** proposed SMA-FRP composite square rebars are first fabricated and then embedded in small scale concrete T-beam.3-point bending test is conducted on manufactured RC beam using a cyclic displacement controlled regime until *** is found that the SMA-FRP composite reinforcement is able to enhance the performance of concrete member by providing re-centering and crack closing capability.

Accumulating evidence from epidemiological and experi- mental studies indicate that obesity, and its related metabolic consequences of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, are associated with accelerated cognitive decline （Yates et al., 2012）. The etiology of neurodegeneration in obesity is undoubtedly complex, with vascular, metabolic, inflammatory, and structural changes all likely to play a role （Yates et al., 2012）. The discovery of leptin in 1994 and the subsequent advancement in our understanding that adipose tissue is an endocrine organ that can communicate with the brain to regulate appetite （Zhang et al., 1994） brings about the in- triguing possibility that adipose-brain crosstalk can regulate aspects of neuronal physiology and pathology （Aguilar-Valles et al., 2015）. Indeed neurons have been shown to express receptors for various adipokines, indicating that factors released from adipose tissue have the potential to communi- cate directly with the brain. Research in this area is relatively new, and while epidemiological data points towards the negative consequences of adipose-brain crosstalk （Whitmer et al., 2005）, some intriguing new studies highlight that the secretory profile of adipose tissue might be involved in reduction in neurodegeneration via maintenance of neuronal viability （Tezapsidis et al., 2009; Wan et al., 2015）.

The installation of small cells in a 5G network extends the maximum coverage and provides high ***,this approach increases the handover overhead in the Core Network(CN)due to frequent *** variation of user density and movement inside a region of small cells also increases the handover overhead in ***,the present 5G system cannot reduce the handover overhead in CN under such circumstances because it relies on a traditionally rigid and complex hierarchical sequence for a handover ***,Not Only Stack(NO Stack)architecture has been introduced for Radio Access Network(RAN)to reduce the signaling during *** paper proposes a system based on NO Stack architecture and solves the aforementioned problem by adding a dedicated local mobility controller to the edge cloud for each *** dedicated cluster controller manages the user mobility locally inside a cluster and also maintains the forwarding data of a mobile user *** reduce the latency for X2-based handover requests,an edge cloud infrastructure has been also developed to provide high-computing for dedicated controllers at the edge of a cellular *** proposed system is also compared with the traditional 3GPP architecture and other works in the context of overhead and delay caused by X2-based handover requests during user *** results show that the inclusion of a dedicated local controller for small clusters together with the implementation of NO Stack framework reduces the significant amount of overhead of X2-based handover requests at CN.

Multifunctional phase change composites are in great demand for all kinds of industrial technologies and applications,which have both superior latent heat capacity and excellent solar-thermal conversion *** this research,biomimetic phase change composites are made by inspired by natural systems,successfully getting the high thermal conductivity of carbon foam and magnetism of composites together,to establish a novel solar-thermal energy storage *** morphology and the thermal characteristics of biomimetic phase change composites have been *** results showed that the maximum storage efficiency of the biomimetic phase change materials increased by 56.3%compared to that of the based materials,and it can further be improved by the application of magnetic *** the heat transfer process of solarthermal conversion and energy storage in biomimetic porous structure under the external physical fields has been explained by ***,the magnetic field-induced method applied in this research has better solar-thermal energy storage characteristics within a porous structure by dynamically controlling the magnetism,which has potential uses for various sustainable applications,including waste-heat recovery,energy conservation in building,and solar-thermal energy storage.

BACKGROUND： Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. The application of biophotonics for diagnosing precancerous lesions is a major breakthrough in oncology and is associated with the expression of clastogenic bio-markers, such as reactive oxygen species （ROS）, namely, superoxide anion radicals, hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyl radicals, and lipid peroxidation products. These ROS are the major sources of ultra-weak biophotons emission; in addition, biophotons are emitted from other biomolecules, which are not associated with ROS. The precancerous phase is diagnosed on the basis ofbiophoton emission from biomarkers. The type of biophotons emitted depends on the structure of the clastogenic ROS. METHODS： ROS-based emission of ultra-weak photons can be detected using charge coupled device （CCD） cameras and photomultiplier tubes. Furthermore, spectroscopic and microscopic analysis can yield more advanced and definite results. RESULTS： The frequency and intensity of biophoton emission associated with each ROS provides information regarding the precancerous phase. Previous have attempted to show an association between precancerous growth and biophoton emission; however, their results were not conclusive. In this review, we have addressed multiple aspects of the molecular environment, especially light- matter interactions, to derive a successful theoretical relationship which may have the ability to diaganose the tumor at precancerous stage and to give the solutions of previous failures. This can be a major quantum leap toward precancerous diagnosis therapy. CONCLUSION： Biophotonics provides an advanced framework, for easily diagnosing cancer at its preliminary stage. The relationship between biophotons, clastogenic factors, and biochemical reactions in the cellular microenvironment can be understood successfully. Epidemiological modeling of passive worm propagation on the P2P file-sharing network

The peer-to-peer（P2P） file-sharing network as a vehicle of disseminating files has become very popular. The appearance of dozens of kinds of passive worms on this network has, however, made it unsecured. This problem has been paid attention and a few of models for passive worm propagation has been presented. Unfortunately, the dynamic properties of this network are ignored in these models. Given the fact, the characteristics of both this network and the passive worm are identified, and on this basis a new mathematical model of passive worm propagation on the P2P network is presented in applying epidemiology in this paper. Note that the dynamic properties of this network are considered in the presented model. The model has been validated by large scale simulation experiments, which demonstrates that the presented model may be used for analyzing the behaviors of passive worms and predicting the trend of their propagation.
