Black phosphorus nanoflakes as morphology modifier for efficient fullerene-free organic solar cells with high fill-factor and better morphological stability

Morphology of the donor:acceptor blend plays a critical role in the photovoltaic performance of the organic solar cells (OSCs).Herein,liquid-phase-exfoliated black phosphorus nanoflakes (BPNFs),for their outstanding electronic property and good compatibility to solution process,were applied to fullerene-free OSCs as morphology *** by X-ray scattering measurements,the PTB7-Th:IeICO-4F blends incorporated with BPNFs exhibit more ordered π-π stacking and promoted domain purity,contributing to lower charge transport resistance and suppressed charge recombination within the bulk heterojunction (BHJ).As a result,a high fill factor (FF) of 0.73 and a best power conversion efficiency (PCe) of 12.2% were obtained for fullerene-free OSCs based on PTB7-Th:IeICO-4F blends incorporating with BPNFs,which is among the highest FF of the as-cast fullerene-free OSCs with PCe over 12%.More importantly,the embedded BPNFs help to improve the morphological stability of the devices probably by retarding the phase mixing in the BHJ during the aging ***,analogous enhancements were observed in another fullerene-free OSCs based on PBDB-T:*** a word,this work provides a new strategy of using two-dimentional nanoflakes as facile and universal morphology modifier for efficient fullerene-free OSCs.

Objective:To analyze the effects of Ageratum conyzoides *** the monosodium iodoacetate induced osteoarthritis ***:Thin layer chromatography was performed to analyze the constituents of the babandotan extract *** male Sprague-Dawley rats used in this study were divided into 6 groups:normal control and negative control groups,both given0.5%carboxymethyl cellulose;the positive control group that was given glucosamine and chondroitin suspension(486 mg/200 g B.W.);the 3 dose variation extract groups including dose 1,2,and 3 that were given 40,80,and 160 mg/200 g *** on day 29 *** the groups were induced with 0.05 mL monosodium iodoacetate(20 mg/mL)on day1,except normal control induced by *** of edema volume of rat knees was performed on day 0,8,15,22,29,43,and *** data was measured at day 1,29and *** was collected at day 50 to evaluate TNF-α and MMP-9 by *** histopathology was evaluated by staining with H&e and Safranin-o-fast green staining on day ***:The babandotan leaves extract dose 2(80 mg/200 g B.W.)and dose 3(160mg/200 g B.W.)could decrease the edema volume,increase the area and thickness of articular cartilage,and increase proteoglycan ***,dose 3(160 mg/200 g B.W.)of extract babandotan leaves were able to significantly decrease the number of leukocytes,lymphocytes and udem volume,and decrease TNF alpha and MMP-9 ***:Babandotan leaves extract can recover inflammation and cartilages degradation by inhibiting TNF-αin inflammation processes and MMP-9 in the collagenase reaction in the cartilages.

No evidence of effect on Male Mice Germ Cells After Acute Treatment With Thiram

Thiram is a dithiocarbamate compound widely used for industrial processes and agriculture. Animal studies reveal that this compound may afftct the male reproductive system. Aim of this study was to test, using sensitive testicular parameters, whether thiram directly affects germinal cells. For this purpose, B6C3F1 mice were intraperitoneally injected with thiram in oil (single dose:75 mg/kg; repeated five daily doses: 25 mg/kg).Although both treatments were toxic, none of the parameters examined, i.e., testis weighi, spermatid head number,specific enzyme levels at different times after treatment (14, 28, 35, 56 days) showed significant variations from the controls, On the contrary, in the positive controls (treated with chlorambucil), a marked reduction of sperm head number as well as a deerease of lactate dehydrogenasex and sorbitol dehydrogenase activity letels were evidenced at day 28, with a tendency to recover at day 35. Under these conditions thiram did not cause cytotoxicity on differentiating spermatogonia and on late spermatocyte stages of mice gonads

现代金刚石刀头制造的趋势之一是使用代钴粉末材料以满足环保法规的要求。本文简介了飞羽公司新近研制的一种代钴金属粉末,它特别适用于激光焊接金刚石锯片生产工艺。过去10余年来金刚石工具行业越来越多地使用代钴粉末。使用的代钴粉末通常以铁、铜为基础,但通常仍然含有钴,含钴量大约在30%左右。本文代钴粉末的制造采用湿法冶金工艺,从溶盐液中提出氧化粉末,然后在炉中干燥与还原成金属粉末。该生产工艺生产的粉末每一颗粒成分都与盐溶液的组分相同。最终获得成分均匀的预合金粉末,而不是不同组分的粉末混合物。本文介绍的是第二代代钴粉末材料,它具有广泛的新的应用范围。飞羽公司生产的Diabase-V21作为第一代代钴粉末材料在市场上畅销已有多年。Diabase-V21是不同优质合金粉末的混合物,该材料现已用于天然石材和建筑工程所涉及的多种应用领域。

The design of heterostructured transition metal-based electrocatalysts with controlled composition and interfaces is key to increasing the efficiency of the water electrolysis and the elucidation of reaction *** this work,we report the synthesis of well-controlled vertically aligned Ni/NiO nanocomposites consisting of Ni nanoclusters embedded in NiO,which result in highly efficient electrocatalysts for overall water *** show that such a high catalytic efficiency toward both the hydrogen evolution reaction(HeR)and the oxygen evolution reaction(OeR)originates from a synergetic effect at Ni/NiO interfaces that significantly reduces the energy barrier for water dissociation,and favours the formation of reactive H*intermediates on the Ni side of the interface,and OH_(ads) on the NiO side of the interface.A study of water chemisorption based on near-ambient pressure photoelectron spectroscopy indicates that the abundant hetero-interfaces in Ni/NiO nanocomposite promote the dissociation of water with a three-fold increase in the surface concentration of OH_(ads) compared with pure *** functional theory calculations indicate that Ni/NiO interface leads to the reduction of the water dissociation energy barrier due to a high concentration of oxygen vacancies at NiO side of the interface,whereas the formation of highly active metallic Ni sites with an optimal value of Gibbs free energy of H*(ΔG_(H*)=−0.16 eV)owes to a favourable adjustment of the electron energetics at the interface,thus accelerating the overall electrochemical water splitting.

Determinants of Online Buying Behaviour of Social Media Users in Cameroon

Online shopping in Cameroon is growing rapidly and gaining considerable *** phenomenon is relatively new as compared to the traditional brick-and-mortar store(serving customers face-to-face in a building rather than online).As the world faces digital transformations,businesses in Cameroon are seeking new ways to reach their customers and create favourable environments to effectively carryout online *** study examines the factors that affect consumer online buying behaviour in *** theories guided this investigation:the Technology Acceptance Model(Davis,1989),Diffusion of Innovations Theory(Rogers,1995),and Uses and Gratifications Theory(Katz&Blumler,1974).The study focuses on students of the University of Buea who carry out online *** sampling is used,and data are collected from 365 respondents through a questionnaire with open and closed ended *** of data is done with the use of the Statistical Package for Social Scientists(SPSS)Version 21 to determine the types of products consumers buy online;the degree to which consumer trust and satisfaction affect consumer loyalty;and the specific social,economic,and market factors that affect online buying *** indicate that:Consumers mostly buy fashion items(74.3%),electronics(44.7%),cosmetics(37.3%),and house equipment(34%)*** will repeat purchase from a marketer if they trust and are satisfied with the product and service quality(81.1%);hence,they will also encourage others to *** they are dissatisfied,they will not repeat purchase from the online ***(76.1%),attractive pricing/discount(71.7%),product quality(71%),service quality(64.1%),convenience(72.3%),available income/money(49.6%),word of mouth recommendation(41.9%),and personal motivation(62.7%)constitute the major factors that affect consumer online buying *** of the hypotheses testing show that:H1=Consumers buy more of fashion items online(X^(2)=9.950;

An Assessment of the Knowledge and Practice of Self Breast examination (BSe) amongst University Students

Objective: This study sought to assess the knowledge and practice of breast self-examination (BSe) amongst students in the Department of Nursing Science of a tertiary institution in Benin City, edo State towards self breast examination (SBe). Methods: A descriptive, cross sectional study was conducted in the nursing department of a tertiary institution in Benin City, edo state. The age range of the study population was between 17-31 years. Convenient sampling technique was used to select 200 female students. The instrument used was a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into 4 sections: i) Bio-data;ii) knowledge of self breast examination;iii) practice self breast examination;iv) factors affecting SBe. Results: The results of this study indicated that majority of the students were knowledgeable about self breast examination and majority of them practiced self breast examination. The alternate hypothesis which stated that there was a significant difference between factors affecting SBe was retained and the mean values revealed that “forgetfulness” as a factor had the highest mean value. This meant that “forgetfulness” was a potent factor to SBe among the respondents studied. Conclusion: The students in this tertiary institution were aware of self breast examination and they did practice it. Studies like these could enhance the knowledge regarding BSe among nurses and other health professionals.

Hanjeli(Coix lacryma-jobi L.)and moringa leaf(Moringa oleifera)remain underutilised despite their high nutritional value for *** the present research,cookies made.from hanjeli(Coix lacryma-jobi L.)with moringa leaf flour(Moringa oleifera)have been *** cookies were measured for nutritional composition and shelf life *** shelf life evaluation of hanjeli-moringa cookies was calculated using two approaches,which were accelerated shelf life testing(ASLT)methods with critical moisture content and the Arrhenius *** results of the nutritional composition analysis showed that hanjeli-moringa cookies contain protein(9.14%),fat(24.67%),carbohydrates(61.62%),crude fibre(4.85%),and energy(505.01 Kcal).Using the Arrhenius method,the shelf life of hanjeli-moringa cookies was 95.46 days at room temperature and 97.63 days at 20℃.Meanwhile,the shelf life of cookies using the critical moisture content approach was 170.57 *** life is influenced by initial moisture content,critical water content of the product,packaging surface area and permeability,saturated vapour pressure,and slope sorption isotherm *** formulated cookies have significant amounts of nutrients that are acceptable and safe for consumption,with guaranteed desirable sensory *** result of this study shows that hanjeli-moringa cookies can be used as an alternative food for people who need high energy in a practical way of serving or ready to eat.

Karst habitats are hotspots of diversity and endemism. Their naturally fragmented distributions across broad geographic landscapes have led to the complex array of smaller evolutionary ecosystems that present unique challenges from a conservation *** assessments of karst habitats have revealed that these ecosystems contain an almost unparalleled level of endemism, and many site-restricted species remain undescribed, thus posing considerable challenges for effective conservation *** rock-dwelling species, such as geckos, may be particularly prone to such isolation. In this paper, we discuss one such genus, i.e.,Hemiphyllodactylus, and explore its diversity across karst landforms in Yunnan Province, southwestern China. Based on morphological and genetic data, we describe two new species of Hemiphyllodactylus from karst habitats in Simao District and Yanshan County. A phylogenetic tree for Hemiphyllodactylus was constructed using 1?039 base pairs(bp) of the mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2 gene(ND2). The Simao and Yanshan specimens can be distinguished from all other congeners within their respective subclade. based on uncorrected genetic pairwise distances greater than 6.3% and 4.3%respectively, as well as significant morphological differences. The discovery and description of these two new species brings the total number of described Hemiphyllodactylus species in China to 14and indicates many more undescribed species from unsurveyed karst regions await *** findings suggest that karst ecosystems in Yunnan support a higher diversity of Hemiphyllodactylus than previously *** study also highlights the importance of karst ecosystems as refugia for sitespecific endemic species and the need for heightened conservation efforts.

The increased valorization of renewable and cost-effective lignocellulosic feedstocks represents a viable,sustainable,and eco-friendly approach toward the production of biopellets as alternative energy *** aim of this research work was to investigate and evaluate the feasibility of using various lignocellulosic raw materials,i.e.,raru(Cotylelobium melanoxylon),mangrove(Rhizophora spp.),sengon(Paraserianthes falcataria),kemenyan toba(Styrax sumatrana),oil palm(elaeis guineensis),manau rattan(Calamus manan),and belangke bamboo(Gigantochloa pruriens)for manufacturing biopellets with different particle *** raw materials used were tested for their moisture content,specific gravity,ash,cellulose,and lignin *** addition,thermal analyses,i.e.,calorific values,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),were *** following properties of the biopellets produced were investigated:moisture content,volatile matter,ash content,fixed carbon,density,and thermal *** on an analysis of the raw materials,raru had the lowest moisture content(12%)and ash content(1.5%)and the highest specific gravity(1.2).Markedly,palm oil stem had the highestα-cellulose(55%)and lignin(37%)*** accordance with the SNI 8675:2018 standard requirements,biopellets with optimal properties(moisture content of 1.4%,ash content of 0.79%,density of 1.09 g/m^(3),calorific value of 4672 cal/g,and TGA residue of 13.9%),were manufactured from raru wood.
