Fusarium species were reported to produce *** are superficial societies of microbes bounded and endangered by being situated or taking place outside a cell or *** most destructive fungal diseases caused by phytopathogens are as a result of biofilms *** wilt of banana(Panama disease)is caused by a soil-borne pathogen called Fusarium oxysporum *** oxysporum occurs in a form of a species complex(FOSC)which encompasses a crowd of *** genetic factor transfer may donate to the observed assortment in pathogenic strains,while sexual reproduction is unknown in the *** wilt is a notorious disease on several crops *** loss caused by this pathogen is huge,and significant to destroy crop yields annually,thereby affecting the producer countries in various continents of the *** disease is also resistant to various synthetic chemical ***,excessive use of synthetic fungicides during disease control could be lethal to humans,animals,and *** calls for alternative eco-friendly management of this disease by targeting the biofilms formation and finally suppressing this devastating *** this review,we,therefore,described the damage caused by Fusarium wilt disease,the concept of filamentous fungal biofilms,classical control strategies,sustainable disease control strategies using essential oils,and prevention and control of vegetables Fusarium wilt diseases.

Geology of the Structurally Controlled Quartz Vein Gold Mineralization in the Dikko Area, Part of Zungeru—Minna—Birnin Gwari Schist Belt, NW Nigeria

Dikko area, Niger State, North Central Nigeria falls within the Pan-African thermo-tectonic event which occurred in Nigeria as in other parts of West Africa with widespread effect on the mineralization of rejuvenated basement and geosynclinal trough deposits. The Pan-African Belt in Nigeria forms part of the Benin-Nigeria (Dahomeyan) shield which is regarded as the southern prolongation of the circumcratonic Pan-African belt of the West African Craton. Structurally controlled, gold-bearing quartz veins were measured and studied in the area from an extensive geological ground investigation. Field and petrographical studies indicate that the Neoproterozoic rocks constitute gneisses, amphibolite schist, amphibolites and migmatites. The amphibolites are intruded by pegmatites. The associated quartz veins are generally concordant with the main N-S regional structural trend. The lithological and structural studies carried out in these areas have demonstrated the relationship between structures and mineralization and/or lithology. The main characteristics of the gold mineralization in the area appear to indicate hydrothermal mineralization in connection with shear zones. This study allows us to predict that quartz veins in the amphibolite can be mined at a profit and a detailed geochemical and resource valuation needs to be carried out for the Au and associated Galena and Ag mineralization to fully exploit their economic potential.

Development of the Supply Chain Oriented Quality Assurance System for Aerospace Manufacturing SMEs and Its Implementation Perspectives

Aerospace manufacturing SMEs are continuously facing the challenge on managing their supply chain and complying with the aerospace manufacturing quality standard requirement due to their lack of resources and the nature of business. In this paper, the ERP system based approach is presented to quality control and assurance work in light of seamless integration of in-process production data and information internally and therefore managing suppliers more effectively and efficiently. The Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Assurance Standard （BS/EN9100） is one of the most recognised and essential protocols for developing the industry-operated-and-driven quality assurance systems. The research investigates using the ERP based system as an enabler to implement BS/EN9100 quality management system at manufacturing SMEs and the associated implementation and application perspectives. An application case study on a manufacturing SME is presented by using the SAP based implementation, which helps fiarther evaluate and validate the approach and application system development.

This paper studies a strongly convergent inertial forward-backward-forward algorithm for the variational inequality problem in Hilbert *** our convergence analysis,we do not assume the on-line rule of the inertial parameters and the iterates,which have been assumed by several authors whenever a strongly convergent algorithm with an inertial extrapolation step is proposed for a variational inequality ***,our proof arguments are different from what is obtainable in the relevant ***,we give numerical tests to confirm the theoretical analysis and show that our proposed algorithm is superior to related ones in the literature.

Enhanced Mechanism for Link Failure Rerouting in Software-Defined Exchange Point Networks

Internet Exchange Point(IXP)is a system that increases network bandwidth *** exchange points facilitate interconnection among network providers,including Internet Service Providers(ISPs)andContent Delivery Providers(CDNs).To improve service management,Internet exchange point providers have adopted the Software Defined Network(SDN)*** implementation is known as a Software-Defined Exchange Point(SDX).It improves network providers’operations and ***,performance issues still exist,particularly with multi-hop *** issues include switch memory costs,packet processing latency,and link failure recovery *** paper proposes Enhanced Link Failure Rerouting(ELFR),an improved mechanism for rerouting link failures in software-defined exchange point *** proposed mechanism aims to minimize packet processing time for fast link failure recovery and enhance path calculation efficiency while reducing switch storage overhead by exploiting the Programming Protocol-independent Packet Processors(P4)*** paper presents the proposed mechanisms’efficiency by utilizing advanced algorithms and demonstrating improved performance in packet processing speed,path calculation effectiveness,and switch storage management compared to current *** proposed mechanism shows significant improvements,leading to a 37.5%decrease in Recovery Time(RT)and a 33.33%decrease in both Calculation Time(CT)and Computational Overhead(CO)when compared to current *** study highlights the effectiveness and resource efficiency of the proposed mechanism in effectively resolving crucial issues inmulti-hop software-defined exchange point networks.

Awareness as the Most Effective Measure to Mitigate the Spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria

A mathematical model consisting of a system of four nonlinear ordinary differential equations is *** aim is to study the dynamics of the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria and to show the effectiveness of awareness and the need for relevant authorities to engage themselves more in enlightening people on the significance of the available control measures in mitigating the spread of the *** equilibrium solutions;Disease free equilibrium and Endemic equilibrium solutions were calculated and their global stability analysis was carried *** reproduction ratio(R0)was also obtained,in this research𝑅𝑅0=*** obtained for Nigeria is used to conduct numerical simulations in order to support the analytic result and to show the significance of awareness in controlling the disease *** the simulation result,it was shown that to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria there is need for serious awareness programs to enlighten people on the available control measures;social distancing,self-isolation,use of personal protective equipment(such as face mask,hand globes,overall gown,etc.),regular hand washing using soap or sanitizer,avoiding having contact with person showing the symptoms and reporting any suspected case.

Custom emoji based emotion recognition system for dynamic business webpages

Purpose-One of the contributions of artificial intelligent(AI)in modern technology is emotion recognition which is mostly based on facial expression and modification of its inference *** facial recognition scheme is mostly built to understand user expression in an online business webpage on a marketing site but has limited abilities to recognise elusive *** basic emotions are expressed when interrelating and socialising with other personnel *** most times,studying how to understand user expression is often a most tedious task,especially the subtle *** emotion recognition system can be used to optimise and reduce complexity in understanding users’subconscious thoughts and reasoning through their pupil ***/methodology/approach-This paper demonstrates the use of personal computer(PC)webcam to read in eye movement data that includes pupil changes as part of distinct user attributes.A custom eye movement algorithm(CEMA)is used to capture users’activity and record the data which is served as an input model to an inference engine(artificial neural network(ANN))that helps to predict user emotional response conveyed as emoticons on the ***-The result from the error in performance shows that ANN is most adaptable to user behaviour prediction and can be used for the system’s modification *** limitations/implications-One of the drawbacks of the analytical tool is its inability in some cases to set some of the emoticons within the boundaries of the visual field,this is a limitation to be tackled within subsequent runs with standard ***/value-The originality of the proposed model is its ability to predict basic user emotional response based on changes in pupil size between average recorded baseline boundaries and convey the emoticons chronologically with the gaze points.

Seasonal Quality Assessment of Agricultural Soils along the Bank of Tungan Kawo Dam, Kontagora, Nigeria

This research work studies the impacts of irrigation and other agricultural practices on the soil along the bank of Tungan Kawo dam. The experimental analysis evaluates the soil physicochemical parameters and metal (Cd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Fe, Mn, Pb and Zn) concentrations using sequential extractions. The physicochemical parameters of the soils across the sites indicated values reported for less polluted soils. Also, analysis of total metals in the soils indicated lower concentration of all metals evaluated than recommended standard limits with exception of Cd. The results of sequen tial extraction of heavy metal in soil sample indicated that all metals were mainly associated with the residual, Fe-MnO and organic bound fractions. The residual fraction has the maximum concentration of metals especially in cool and dry season for Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn, whereas only a small fraction of all the heavy metal is extracted in water soluble, exchangeable and carbonate bound fractions. It indicates that the bioavailability index is low. Hence, mobility of the heavy metals by the surrounding plants grown on the soils is low.

In this paper,we analyze the extended Bogoyavlenskii-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(eBKP)equation utilizing the condensed Hirota's *** accordance with a logarithmic derivative transform,we produce solutions for single,double,and triple M-lump ***,we investigate the interaction solutions of a single M-lump with a single soliton,a single M-lump with a double soliton,and a double M-lump with a single ***,we create sophisticated single,double,and triple complex soliton wave *** extended Bogoyavlenskii-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation describes nonlinear wave phenomena in fluid mechanics,plasma,and shallow water *** selecting appropriate values for the related free parameters we also create three-dimensional surfaces and associated counter plots to simulate the dynamical characteristics of the solutions offered.

New lump, lump-kink, breather waves and other interaction solutions to the (3+1)-dimensional soliton equation

This study investigates the (3+1)-dimensional soliton equation via the Hirota bilinear approach and symbolic computations. We successfully construct some new lump, lump-kink, breather wave, lump periodic, and some other new interaction solutions. All the reported solutions are verified by inserting them into the original equation with the help of the Wolfram Mathematica package. The solution’s visual characteristics are graphically represented in order to shed more light on the results obtained. The findings obtained are useful in understanding the basic nonlinear fluid dynamic scenarios as well as the dynamics of computational physics and engineering sciences in the related nonlinear higher dimensional wave fields.
