dear Editor,We have read with great interest the outstanding article authored by Amparore et al.[1].We commend the authors for their large interventional study of 222 patients observing a favorable impact on clinical outcomes after implementation of three-dimensional(3d)modeling for laparoscopic partial nephrectomy robotically assisted or not,compared to a historical group of *** authors presented convincing results and humbly acknowledge limitations of the study,notably its *** results extend growing awareness in urology that 3d modeling can enhance surgeons’case planning[2].

The iron aluminides show anomalous stress peaks at temperatures of the order of 400～600 ℃, irrespective of whether the crystal structure is B2 type or dO 3 type. Such features will be examined on the basis of thermally activated dislocation processes, considering the influence of test parameters such as temperature and strain rate, and material parameters such as crystal composition and orientation. detailed analyses of deformation modes by slip step studies, transmission electron microscopy examinations of dislocation structures, and texture studies will also be considered. Observations of dislocation structures are clearly of great interest for suggesting the possible models of deformation, but suffer from two major weaknesses: the post mortem structures in samples deformed at high temperature may not be the same as those producing plasticity; almost all possible hypotheses for strengthening can find support from such observations, since almost all imaginable dislocation configurations can be found with sufficient diligence by the researcher. Strengthening at intermediate temperatures in dO 3 and B2 ordered iron aluminides will be analysed here, making combined use of observations of deformation structures and examinations of the influence of varying the deformation parameters.

The use of high-power lights during night-time purse seining is common in ***,metal halide(MH)lamps are used in the commercial fishery to attract fish,however these lights require more energy,have a shorter lifespan,and lower chromatic performance than light emitting diode(LEd)*** study examined catch efficiency and fuel consumption when using LEd lamps in combination with reduced numbers of MH lamps(10.24 kW),compared to conventional lighting(28.6 kW),used during purse seining off the coast of Ninh Thuan province,*** economic performance associated with using LEd lamps in this fishery was also *** found no significant differences in catch rates between the different light treatments,however fuel consumption was significantly *** consumption per nightly trip using LEd with MH lamps was 70.8 l(11.1 l/h)compared to114 l(17.45 l/hr)using MH lamps alone,an estimated 37.9%reduction in fuel *** investment in LEd lamps by a fishing enterprise will require additional initial costs,however our analysis revealed the financial break-event point can be reached after approximately 101 nightly trips when the fuel price is at the 2015 level of USd$0.74 per *** enterprises can increase their profitability,and reduce CO2 emissions,by using LEd lamps in the Vietnamese purse seine fishery.

The Youngstown earthquake sequence of 2011 is one of the clearest examples of inadvertently induced seismicity for which detailed documentation is *** this paper,we investigate(i) likely stress states in the vicinity of the injection well,(ii) a range of likely permeability scenarios,and(iii) relatively simple methods by which induced seismicity can be evaluated and *** use relocated hypocenters from the seismic sequence to construct a basement fault structure,which is then used to serve as a reference surface within the basement,and on which we calculate the effects of pore pressure changes induced by the injection activities of the Northstar #1 injection *** also deduce an in situ(preinjection) strike-slip stress regime,where ρ2≈ρ3,and it is consistent with both recent earthquake data and published stress estimates for the *** the reactivation characteristics of the basement are known or assumed,a critical or threshold slip tendency can be determined and the basement faults can be analyzed for the likelihood of reactivation in a perturbed pore pressure *** of well injection pressures and simulated pore pressure perturbations within the basement below the injection well indicates that permeability anisotropy is necessary to generate sufficient pore pressure perturbation to induce fault *** of the well’s injection history show that our estimate of in situ stress state,coupled with a highly anisotropic permeability structure,can generate sufficient pore pressure perturbation on the inferred basement structure to cause reactivation,potentially slipping an area of approximately 4×10~5 m~2.

采用数值计算和实验研究相结合的方法,研究了跨音速转子叶顶泄漏流与主流交界面轴向位置随流量的变化规律和机制。该跨音转子是美国圣母大学一级半跨音速压气机转子。研究发现机匣壁面脉线分布能够定性反映壁面轴向剪切应力分布,可用来识别叶顶泄漏流与主流的交界面位置。通过机匣壁面的脉线分布,可以看出机匣壁面存在两条零剪切应力线。第一条零剪切应力线表示来流与叶顶泄漏流之间交界面的时间和周向平均轴向位置,在小流量工况下交界面靠近顶部叶片的前缘。计算和实验结果都表明,随着质量流量的减小,叶顶泄漏流与主流交界面的轴向位置不断向叶片前缘移动。在近失速点,交界面到达叶片前缘,泄漏流即将溢出。泄漏流与主流的轴向动量比随流量减小不断增大的变化规律进一步说明,间隙区域泄漏流与主流的轴向动量平衡是导致交界面不断前移直至溢出的内在机制。

为了更好地理解环境和基因型对小麦阿拉伯木聚糖含量的影响,为小麦品质改良提供科学依据,采用比色法测定了美国西部51个硬质小麦品种的阿拉伯木聚糖组分含量,这些小麦品种包括冬小麦和春小麦,分别被种植在3个不同的地点。结果表明,参试冬小麦品种水溶性和总阿拉伯木聚糖含量的变异范围分别为0.39%-0.81%和3.09%-4.04%,春小麦品种这两种木聚糖含量范围分别为0.48%-0.92%和3.94%-4.70%。小麦籽粒阿拉伯木聚糖含量的变异同时受品种、环境及其互作效应的显著影响,环境效应大于品种效应。小麦品种间阿拉伯木聚糖含量的变异主要表现在水溶性组分上。就不同组分而言,基因型对水溶性阿拉伯木聚糖组分的影响相对较大,环境则分别对冬小麦水不溶性、春小麦水溶性阿拉伯木聚糖组分有较大的影响。品种间和环境间阿拉伯木聚糖含量的变异,冬小麦大于春小麦;水溶性阿拉伯木聚糖含量的遗传型方差春小麦大于冬小麦。冬、春小麦的水溶性阿拉伯木聚糖含量的广义遗传力均大于95%,通过遗传育种的方法改良小麦阿拉伯木聚糖含量是可行的。冬小麦与春小麦阿拉伯木聚糖含量的平均值之间无明显差异。

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the most common cardiac arrhythmias and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. It is becoming increasingly evident diabetes is a significant risk factor for the development of AF. The reason for this link is not clearly understood, however it is clear that other co-morbid diseases associated with diabetes such as hypertension and obesity may be implicated or there may be direct arrthymogenic affects of glucose dysregulation on the myocardium. The development of AF in patients with diabetes may be an ominous sign given the increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease and we propose this is an under researched area where treatments may bring benefits over and above those patients without diabetes in terms of morbidity or death from cardiovascular disease.
